Worst customer service
I have been with WorldMark for 27 years since Trendwest days. Recently I got a collection letter from the collector for none payment of maintenance fees. It turned out that the credit card that was on file for auto pay had a problem, so the bank sent me a new one, but I forgot to update my WorldMark account. In the meantime, I didn't get a single phone call, a letter or email alerting me about the problem. When I called, they blamed everything on me for not making sure the account was paid on time. I get calls from them once every few weeks asking me to buy more credit, but they don't have the time to call about problems. Their customer service is the worst in the travel industry.

I rarely write reviews but felt compelled to share my recent experiences with Worldmark by Wyndham. If you’re researching this timeshare or are interested in purchasing more credits, please read the reviews before you do.
I’ve been an owner since the company was Trendwest (over 33 years) and have seen major changes in this time. Monthly dues increase every year, etc. But, my recent encounters with the reservation agent, Resolutions Supervisor (Janine), and Owner Strategy Specialist (Anzhel) was so unpleasant that I decided to sell my timeshare.
In a nutshell, I gave the WBW agent permission to cancel a reservation after she said the desired unit that I was on the waitlist for was available for the period of time I was looking for. After cancelling and rebooking my room, she stated that it was for a smaller room that I didn’t ask for. She then said I asked for the smaller room. I suggested that she listen to the recording of our conversation as I clearly stated that I was interested in a larger room.
I called right back to talk to a supervisor to ask for the restatement of the guest certificate and confirmation that I was on the waitlist for the larger room. The supervisor (Janine) said she would review the recording. In our conversation, the supervisor also said the WBW agent placed a waitlist for the desired unit for October (incorrect dates). I told the supervisor I cannot travel during that time. She said she would fix the error. This is all on recording.
Four days later, the supervisor called back to say she listened to the recording and could not reinstate the guest certificate because the WBW agent didn’t make a mistake. She said the agent “clearly” stated what she was doing. I told her I gave her permission to cancel the room and book a larger room which she failed to do. The supervisor also said she didn’t say the agent placed a waitlist for the wrong dates. I reminded the supervisor that she made that statement and our conversation was recorded. The agent then stated that the reservation I cancelled with the WBW agent was a smaller unit, which was incorrect. After I corrected her, she said she didn’t make the statement.
Suggestion: If you make reservations with a WBW agent, have them state what your request is before giving permission to proceed. This is especially important if you are canceling a reservation and rebooking.
Taking it up the chain of command, I sent a message (abbreviated due to character limit) and letter (with full details about the conversations) to the Board of Trustees. The Owner Strategy Specialist (Anzhel) responded three days later via email, writing:
Thank you for being a valued Worldmark by Wyndham Owner and contacting our Owner Strategy team. We appreciate you taking the time to reach out to us.
I apologize for any inconvenience experienced due to this. However, after reviewing your ownership, the call recordings were reviewed and as our phone team advised, it was confirmed that the reservation details were provided and accepted prior to any adjustments being made. We would not be able to reinstate your guest certificate at this time. I am very sorry if this was not your anticipated outcome.
Kind Regards,
Anzhel
Owner Strategy Specialist
I asked for restatement of the guest certificate, a review of the audio recordings with a manager, and an apology. I received neither.
I DO NOT recommend Worldmark by Wyndham. The reviews are true.
If anyone has sold a timeshare, I welcome any feedback or contact information.

I am a current owner and I feel like they scam you every chance they get. When you try to talk with someone its impossible. They transfer you and keep you on hold for days. Not worth the headache and the false promises! Don't every buy in!!
Utter dissatisfaction
Imagine a company so big, with so many departments, that any one of those departments is unable to resolve any potential issue you might have. It’s almost as if it’s by design. You will be passed around between half a dozen call takers, each one giving you an answer that begins with “unfortunately I can’t…”
Utterly disappointed in the experience we’ve had with Wyndham.
Branson Missouri: city cutoff water to our unit. No notice. No water all day.
Pagosa springs: not terrible, but one half of the unit was nice and cool, the other half was never able to cool down.
Marble falls: wife books a 3 night stay, planning to arrive and check-in the day before me- then we’re told she can’t check-in unless I’m physically present. Spent hours on the phone. No resolution. No faith in this company.
I’ve been a member for 27 years
I’ve been a member for 27 years. Everything is paid for I pay my quarterly dues and they will not let me exit my membership. I told them I would get an attorney and they said that would make it worse for me. What a crooked crooked crooked company.

trying to just turn in points for a deceased friend. Horrible experience. Stopped paying dues after owner died, sent letter to turn in points. 5 months later they now say can't use certified exit until dues brought up to date.......Criminal in my opinion
No loyalty to members
Been a member for 20 yrs. One late payment(check was sent) and they turn account over to a collection agency (Pinnacle). Never a late payment for 20 yrs, when I asked why I didn't get a notification they gave me a lot of excuses.

Their call center in the Philippines is the worst!!!! Get rid of them! Owners for 2 decades and they suck!!
Vacation & life!
My parents are owners and I keep track of their account. It has served us amazing of the last 30 years. All the places, all the amenities, benefits & perks you receive are worth every penny. Booking process on the app is super easy! I find a location, look at the date then book! I’ve helped soon many guests with this process. Payment process is easy too, especially when working with both points & money. Over the years the only down side are the sales. Purchase more because you can…the sales team at every location tend to push, while on vacation.

Horrible horrible service they lied the are scammers would go to any of the timeshare tours there. they gave a gift card after the tour and doesnt even work
Having been an owner for over 20 years
Having been an owner for over 20 years, it used to be a decent company. They will no longer send you invoices in the mail for the dues. They are now sending everything to pinnacle collections if it’s not paid immediately and then they tacked on an extra $200 charge if you’re thinking about buying into Worldmark on the new or resale market don’t do it. Look at other options this company is an absolute nightmare. When you call them, they say it’s up to you to know when to pay the bills I believe most rooms now they would rather put for rent on Expedia and other platforms and they’re trying to get rid of the timeshare owners I would pay to get rid of it at this point.
If there was a review less than a 1 I…
If there was a review less than a 1 I would give it. WorldMark is a mercenary scum bag organization. We paid THOUSANDS of dollars in dues and we've tried to exit since the beginning of the year. They continue to suck dues out of us month after month with no relief for us at all. NEVER get involved with these horrible people.
Worldmark has really gone downhill...
I have been a Worldmark owner since 2002. Since Wyndham bought Worldmark out they have completed destroyed literally every possible positive aspect. The resorts have gotten old and dated. Their way to pay maintenance dues is horrible and embarrassing. Then when you go for an "owners update" they exert the most incredible sales pressure I have ever seen. Their phone support is horrible. They turn you over to a pathetic collections company if you miss a dues payment. And...the Dues are skyrocketing. Find a better timeshare than this and they are out there.
STAY AWAY FROM TIMESHARES
Trying to exit the timeshare is a nightmare. Can take up to 5 months, and in the process you have to keep paying the premiums and yet you can't book any hotels or vacations during that process. So you are giving money away. Many other issues that take up too much room to put here. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY OR ANY TIMESHARES! It is way better and cost effective to just book an all inclusive resort or hotel when you want to rather than being locked in a contract.
Do Not Call Request Violations
They have been calling me for years despite me telling them multiple times to put me on their do not call list. They reps are rude and noncompliant when asked to stop calling.
This is a SCAM
This is a SCAM! They pester you at vegas hotels to come to a presentation; paying for uber and then they turned us away as we were apparently not eligible when they claimed we were as that’s how they booked us in…
Do not go to this, do not spend any time or money here. It is a scam and a con to the highest level.
Do not Worldmark or Whyndham
I have been an owner for over 20 years. I paid of my initial membership over 10 years ago. I have been paying annual dues on time for all of that time. I missed a payment when I changed credit cards a forgot my payments came automatically from that account. Without notifying me Worldmark sent my account to collections when one payment was missed. I would have gladly made the payment had I realized it was overdue. I contacted Worldmark to correct the error and was told they do not care about my length of membership and that they have no responsibility to notify me of payment due. Basically Adrian from WM told me there is nothing they will do to help me correct this mistake. My only option is to pay the collection company and extra $200 in addition to my quarterly dues.
Horrible Business Practices
I rarely leave reviews, but I feel obligated to share my experience so others can make an informed decision. If I could leave no star I would.
I purchased a vacation package from WorldMark by Wyndham (Travel + Leisure Co.) based on a sales presentation where I was told I would have access to a wide range of destinations, including Cancun, Cabo, and multiple locations throughout Florida. These options were a major factor in my decision.
After purchasing, I later received the actual location list from customer service, which showed that the available options were extremely limited and did not match what was presented. This information was not provided during the sales process. Had it been disclosed, I would not have made the purchase.
When I attempted to use the package, I found that not only were the options limited, but many of the few available locations were already sold out for the timeframe I needed, making the package effectively unusable for my family.
I made multiple attempts to resolve the issue directly, including requesting a cancellation and refund, but my concerns were dismissed and I was told to rely on the contract, despite the clear discrepancy between what was said during the presentation and what was actually delivered.
This experience was disappointing and frustrating. I would strongly encourage anyone considering a purchase to request a full list of available locations in writing before making any decisions.
I hate hate hate Wyndham
I booked 2 nights in Seattle for May 2026 exactly 30 days in advance. When I tried to cancel the reservation 11 days before my arrival, they told me there would be no refund because of their 30-day cancellation policy. This doesn’t make sense to me. I booked the room 30 days before the stay, and I attempted to cancel well before the trip (11 days prior). Despite this, they are refusing to refund my money or my points and will not give me the room back. I am paying for it and they are reselling it.
Been a member for 23 years but would not recommend
Been a member for 23 years and loved it for most of it. However, in the last 5 years things have changed for the worse. Dropping calls after waiting for an hour is very common, no follow through with issues, harassment to attend presentations while on vacation and if you do attend, prepare to spend your entire vacation trying to get your ‘gift’. Try returning some points, basically giving them money, and had a terrible experience, 6 months of errors and terrible customer service all while paying dues for the entire amount. Will not recommend this Timeshare company at all.
