Very disappointing

I ordered an item on 27th December - when I enquired on 6/1 what was happening with the delivery I was told it was no longer in stock and the order was cancelled.
Very disappointing!

Great customer service

I had an exceptional experience with Woolovers, all thanks to Harry in customer service. He went above and beyond to assist me with my query, showing incredible patience, professionalism, and knowledge. Harry ensured that every concern I had was addressed promptly and left me feeling valued as a customer. His friendly demeanor and dedication truly stood out, making the whole process seamless and stress-free. Woolovers is lucky to have such a fantastic team member. Thank you, Harry, for your outstanding service!

The only place to shop online for clothes

An easy website to navigate, clothing is high quality, price is reasonable, and delivery is prompt. What more could ask? Oh yes. And each item I have purchased, fits perfectly. The latest item, a pair of straight leg jeans, is the best fitting jeans I have ever bought.

I ordered two cashmere and merino…

I ordered two cashmere and merino jumpers that looked lovely on the photos in the ad. When they came, they were very thin material and poorly finished (the seam under the polo neck showed on both garments) and the colours weren't as expected either. I packed them up to return to the company, and asked for the cheapest safe return postage cost. When I told the postmistress the value of these inferior items (£120) she informed me I couldn’t use Evri and I finished up having to pay £10.35!! I remembered when I got home that Evri had delivered the parcel to me, so perhaps they gave the true value of these to the courier to send them…a scandalous waste of money to try on these inferior garments….never again….BE WARNED!

regarding your response to my review

regarding your response to my review, why on earth would I want to waste my time contacting customer services for a 4th time. You say you do not have my contact details, you have the email which was sent to you which you have chosen to ignore, if you want to contact me that would obviously be the way to go.

PULLED THE WOOL OVER MY EYES

Should be no stars. I should have read the reviews of this pack of #$%& before buying what turned out to be poor quality JUNK. Reported faults, with pictures of the defects on both items to "customer service" who replied with a monumental brush off. All I can say is AVOID THIS COMPANY OR SUFFER THE CONSEQUENCES. BUY FROM A REPUTABLE DEALER WHERE YOU CAN CHECK THE QUALITY BEFORE PARTING WITH YOUR CASH.

Very poor quality

I’ve had this cardigan for about 4 months and it looks asif it needs to go to a jumble sale. It has pulled all down the front and the the sleeves. Customer Services told me this is not unusual just use a pilling comb.
That’s it no more purchases from Woolovers. Dreadful quality

Ordered four items

Ordered four items. Beige wool cardigan, looked beige in brochure arrived speckled? Pink and white design flowy dress, burgundy and white and very clingy material. Blue and white culottes, virtually see through the quality is bad. And finally a pretty colourful top….looked lovely in brochure, reality…cheap very thin fabric with a very loud design, not even similar to brochure. Myself and other members of my family have been using woolovers for years but that’s it. The quality of everything now seems to be all the same, thin, badly made and never washes well, yet the prices have increased.

Pilling

I bought 2 lambswool and merino jumpers in November 23. Both have pilled badly. I have a black one - same specs several years old , much better quality.
I complained to Customer Service and included photo. Now promised a refund. They admitted they had changed supplier but claimed pilling was 'unusual' .
They used to be really good - but never buying from them again .

Sent wrong product 22 Nov 2023

Sent wrong product 22 Nov 2023. Told me it was my responsibility to return before they could send the right one, which I had to wait for refund ( still waiting )before I could reorder. Gave me an obstacle course list to prove to them I had the wrong item. Send photo of wrong item with label to be sent with return post receipt. Had two return address options which I had to confirm the correct one. That was all sent to them by the 28th Nov 2023. Have contacted but not had a response from them. It's now 11th Jan 2020. I needed the original item for 24th Nov 2023. All because they sent the wrong item. What a rigmarole. Have contacted Bpay to help.

I have been using this site for more…

I have been using this site for more than 10 years and it is my first port of call when looking for jumpers or cardigans. I find their products to be of good quality and value for money and their range of styles and colours is excellent. But most of all, their customer service is exceptional. It's easy to contact them on the phone and I have always found them to be polite and obliging. You do have to pay for returns but firms who offer free returns add that onto the price of the item. And you can buy the returns label for £1.99. So, a very happy customer

Shrinkage

I bought a wool coatigan which shrunk drastically after its first wash, on a cool wool cycle. I returned it and was told that after inspection, postage would also be refunded. The coatigan has been refunded but not the postage, even though I have now spoken to Woolovers about this 3 times. All in all, not impressed.

Getting worse and worse every year

This was a company that used to sell low to average quality wool items at a low price. That was 10 years ago. Now, this is a company that keeps selling low to average quality items at a premium price, to the point that they make M&S prices look like a bargain!
I recently bought a jumper from them and paid almost £10 for Next Day delivery. Of course, they chose Evri as their delivery company, as it is the cheapest, and also the worst.
The item not only did not arrive on the day expected, but it arrived a week later. As I had already left that address, the item is now missing, and Woolovers HORRIBLE customer service keep playing daft, not responding to emails, and waiting for the item to resurface, 16 days later.
So: Average to low quality items, premium prices, premium delivery prices, the worst ever delivery partner because they are the cheapest, outsourcing their customer service to some low IQ incompetent team – you get the idea: reduce costs, sell high.
This is the last time I buy anything from this HORRIBLE company.

Don’t buyI have bought severlslexpensive merino…

I have bought severlslexpensive merino cardigans the cost of which was £75. Both item came apart at the seams. Woolovers gave me a refund on the first item but not the second. I would advise against buying this item. I would have expected a refund. The item is unwearable, but I will have to repair it. Disgusting!

Useless pockets placed too low

I bought their Aran yarn long cardigan or coatigan some time ago last year. As much as i love its snug soft high neck, i find the pockets completely useless. They are placed so low that you'd need to be a beanstalk with long hands or a chimpanzee. It would also be much better if it had a couple more buttons below the last one to keep the legs warm.
