I wish I had more help from wix when it comes to the website. Being a beginner on the internet can be a bit overwhelming and intimidating.

Tried to set it not to autorenew and it autorenewed anyway at an even higher price tag. When I attempted to contact them the AI chatbot they force you to go to first was clearly designed to discourage getting any assistance. Had to research various ways to try to get a person and when I finally got people they said they "understood" why this was frustrating, but oh well, we have your money and there's nothing you can do about it. But here's how to reset it to not autorenew in two years. Predatory practices-- find another provider because this was one of the worst experiences I've had.
Update: Wix has dropped the same cut and paste response to me that they have to everyone else on here who shared their poor experiences with the company. In this cookie cutter response they claim that customer service is important to them "That’s why we've contacted you privately to learn more about the issues you are facing and see what we can do to help."
But here's the thing. They have not contacted me privately in response to this review. Instead of actually contacting me or attempting to rectify the problem, all they have done is posted a completely dishonest public response to try to make it seem like they are interested in customer service. And yet, based on the horrendous experience with this company it is somehow not a surprise to see them come on here and lie.

I was really excited about wix.com I thought it made my life easier and especially now with their AI capabilities. But, I've honestly had the worst experience with Wix. It was easy to design my website, I'll give them that. What might have taken me a month, took me days. But don't get me wrong, I still put in quite amount of time and effort. However, once you get into the internal workings of the the site, adding payment, doing text automations, SEO, etc. then it's gets super complicated and wix is not helpful. I had to purchase a business phone number through wix for my automations and they are not clear about how I'm supposed to word things. There are no tutorials, their ai doesn't know... You do things and wix algorithm gets flagged and the team doesn't even really know. It took 6 weeks for my phone number to get approved. Then after that, wix algorithm flags my site for offering pharmaceuticals, but they are so strict that anything that even hints at medical and it gets flagged. Fine, but they can't provide a guideline. So now my site is in review with wix team not really having a clear understanding. On top of that, now I see they have repeatedly charged me multiple times for the same things. premium plan, business phone number and now I have to get on to sort that out. it's been a huge waste of time and money. i don't recommend wix.com if you are in the health sector. As a functional nutritionist, you really cannot work with this company. I think it might be better for widgets.

I have been a customer since 2018. Recently they increased my subscription to three times the amount it had been when I last subscribed three years ago. I only noticed after the money came out of my account, and there is a no refund policy except on new subscriptions, so I am tied into it for three years. Believe me, I will be going elsewhere after that. So unethical.

Unauthorized charges 336 Euro: Auto‑renewing 01.02.2026 my plan at an increased price without notice is unacceptable.
Missed refund deadlines. Even their more generous help‑center articles cap refunds at 45 business days, yet I’m beyond the 45 + 20 = 65 business days mark promised in their email with no refund in sight. They provided only FAKE refund number: ARN 74987506031000614289222
06.05.2026 NO Refund and NO paid service = WIX is scummer. Can't wait until they are closed beaciuse AI do this cheaper and better. WIX lost this market.
Support responded promptly at first but failed to follow through. There has been no explanation for the delay and no evidence that the refund is being processed.
Overall Impression
Wix markets itself as a customer‑centric platform, but my experience shows otherwise. I was charged for a service I didn’t agree to, promised a refund within a specific timeframe, and then left waiting with no resolution. If a company can’t uphold its own policies or honor its promises, it doesn’t deserve your trust.
For anyone considering Wix, I recommend looking elsewhere. Until Wix proves it can respect customer consent and process refunds in a timely manner, its service remains untrustworthy.

I created a WIX site years ago but moved to another provider due to the sluggish designing performance. I tried again as it look like it offers the most amazing CRM but it is slow and sluggish when trying to drag and drop items. It is just SO frustrating that I will not be using it again!

The wix website was difficult for me to navigate and I accidentally ordered the same website twice (at $222 each). Besides the fact that it is impossible
to reach a live customer service rep, I asked for a refund and because it was outside the 14 day period, they refused to reimburse me for one of the websites. The worst! Thumbs decidedly down! They requested additional information but there is no way to respond to the request. For a website app they should have a better website!

I love my Wix website. It allows me to do everything a big business would do. It helps me keep up with social media posts automatically-I just tweak because I’m that way. I can send a quote and request a deposit. Create and send invoices. I’ve got a point of sale that I can use with tap and pay on my phone or the separate card reader. It allows me to customize everything. I find something new every time I’m on there. As a one woman custom embroidery shop, presenting my business professional my is important to me and Wix made it happen!

Worst customer service I have ever experienced. On hold for an hour an agent connects, doesn't say anything, then disconnects the session. Tried giving them the benefit of the doubt and connected again only to have them start the convo and then ghost.

After much research in website providers that support non-technical, new businesses that are on a limited budget and timeframe - WIX was by far the better choice.
The main factor was the fact that you could design your own website your way, but also be guided by pre-defined templates if you so needed.
The online support and customer service via the online chat is very effective, once you establish that you want to speak with an agent and not an AI Bot. Sometimes you need a human guidance.
It takes time to get used to the menu system and how things are laid out. I found it helpful for me to document how the site was being built and why. This helped me going forward to remember why I did something the way I did.
Areas of uplift that I look forward to seeing from Wix - easier customer service access in those moments something isn't working and you want it fixed quickly. Better ways to use plain language and not technical terms. At times it is a challenge to search for something if you don't know the right term it is saved under.

It's taken a while, and that is mostly down to me. I've had a WIX website for a few years now, and as I get to know it properly it just gets better and better. I am not a very 'techie' person so it is quite a triumph that I now have a fully functioning, professional looking website put together by me without employing a web designer and growing from strength to strength every day.

They have put me on recurring payment for my subscription and have made it impossible to Cancell. I have tried through their site, asked for a call, used their chat bot, but they intentionally make it extremely difficult to cancel. Run away from this company!

I have tried many SAP system providers, this site is the one that exceeded my expectation, very fast system (I'm based in Europe), all functionalities I needed are active and with Best practice data, and the support is excellent. I kept my subscription running and my test data are there after multiple system upgrades.
