Wickes - Braintree Reviews 

5* plus service from Wickes! After several visits to the Braintree Wickes Kitchen showroom we booked a visit for a planner to measure. I had a very long wish list and I have to say Roger who planned the kitchen took my ideas and added some brilliant ones that I hadn’t even thought of, he is very creative and was extremely patient with my thousand and one questions. The Result is, some weeks later I have my dream kitchen and I am loving it. It looks fantastic and everything has been designed in such a way that it makes my life easier. I would also like to thank Alexa and Luca who were also involved at times and so helpful. I would not hesitate to recommend Wickes kitchens, their planning service through to delivery and customer service all score 10/10.

We had already spoken to two other Kitchen Companies before calling into Wickes, Braintree, and meeting Roger Waldren, Design Consultant. We arranged a home visit to start the process of designing our dream kitchen.

Having spent time with us at home, Roger then produced the initial design. We sat down with him three/four times after that to change the layout, agree on the colour of units, matt or gloss finish and sourcing the right white goods.

Throughout the whole process, Roger was professional, friendly and a font of knowledge.

He cooks so was able to share the pros and cons of various appliances.

He has installed kitchens so was able to share his experiences with us when finalising all the details. Nothing was too much trouble.

We must mention Alexa, Showroom Manager and Lucas who were both very helpful when Roger was otherwise engaged.

We used our own contractors to install the kitchen which was part of a larger project but when an issue arose, Roger was there with help and advice.

We really cannot thank Roger enough for helping us from inception to completion of our dream kitchen. He is a super design consultant who should be valued by Wickes. What a lovely guy.

We would and have recommended him to family and friends.

Luca was extremely helpful and had a good knowledge of the products.

I was dealt with by Luca Perotti (Braintree Branch) who came out and measured and then designed the kitchen. I then went through the design and went back after several weeks and amended the design to suit my needs. Luca spent a considerable amount of time of getting and adjusting to get what I was looking for. There was no pressure to buy or to go with his design he was relaxed and laid back and put the customer first rather than commission. He then arranged for the kitchen to be stored for 5 months until I needed it at no extra cost (there will store for 6 months). The key is to look at the design and alter to suit your needs rather than take what a designer has done and Luca was more than happy to adapt and help as he is there to hopefully give what you are looking for. I would highly recommend using Luca for any future designs.

We have just moved to the area and was helped in store by a lovely lady called Donna who helped us with everything we needed .

Visited here Wednesday night to purchase some laminate flooring, had some lovely help from Donna behind the till , very helpful, professional , and happy which makes the whole experience a pleasure A*****

Horrendous customer service at Braintree branch 12/09/2025 at 09:25.

After waiting 12 weeks for my shower rm installation to begin, the fitter called the day before start date and cancelled because I wouldn't pay him extra to install unnecessary additional pipework. I complained to the customer experience team and the design team but a further 2 weeks went past with no progress so I cancelled the work and asked for a refund. 7 weeks on and I still have shower panels cluttering the dining rm and no sign of them being collected or a refund being given. In the 9 weeks since the job should have started I have had no contact, let alone an explanation or apology from the Wickes installation management team which I think is a disgrace. I certainly won't be using Wickes again.

I have had both my bathroom and kitchen installed by Wickes installers in the past few months.I purchased both from the Braintree store with great assistance from design consultant Julian Albert.Both designs were exactly what i needed.
The bathroom was installed by D Watts and the kitchen by TL Propery solutions.

Visited yesterday first class assistant from Donna material being delivered bank holiday Monday.

We had an appt booked for a kitchen design but no one emailed to cancel it,as the guy,taking the appt was off sick, so last minute Amber said she would take the info and pass it on for the design team to draw something up, very professional service given, confident and very customer focussed, i was very impressed with the service given by Amber.

Julian Albert ( Braintree branch Wickes kitchen designer) visited our home as our kitchen has some odd wall angles. His design enabled us to have more storage and more space at a great price.

The service and customer care has been great throughout. Thoroughly recommend Wickes and the installers Garlick Building and Renovation.

We recently had our bathroom done through Wickes and it was 100% a great choice from start to finish. Julian, at the Braintree store, was incredibly helpful and explained the whole process clearly. He was always available for any query and made sure that we had good workmen and that we were happy with everything. We now have a beautiful bathroom and for a great price.

Used Braintree Wickes for our kitchen and bathroom. We had Julian as our consultant who was brilliant. Would highly recommend.

I had superb customer service. Roger who works in the kitchen department at Braintree, Essex was incredibly helpful. He went way and beyond with giving advice re: plywood, vinyl , measurements, fitting work top, and helping me find what I needed around the shop floor. He made myself and twin sister laugh a lot & our WICKS visit was made very enjoyable. All the staff along this journey of a new kitchen have all been so friendly, helpful and kind. Superb, thank you so very much.

Went into store to order 9 ton bags of sand and type1. Donna on the checkout/customer service desk did all the ordering for us. She was friendly, knowledgeable and helpful, as well as a good laugh! All went smoothly, and delivery on time as promised. Great service and good value.

Very happy with our new kitchen.

Luca came to our house on time, was very respectful and polite. He suggested options that we hadn’t thought of which we went for.

When we had the appointment in store to discuss the final plans he walked us through the showroom to show us what we had picked which was helpful to see.

Overall very happy with the service and the quality we got.

Had our kitchen designed by Roger who was very professional and knowledgeable. Not had it fitted as yet so cannot give a final review but will do when completed

We have just had our new kitchen completed, and we are very happy with the quality and finish..Roger designed it for us, and gave us some great advice. We would highly recommend using Wicks if you are looking to upgrade your kitchen.
