Pergola purchase
We recently purchased a pergola from White Stores Manchester and honestly couldn’t be happier with the whole experience.
We visited the showroom on a completely random weekday, not really knowing much about pergolas. Although we’d done quite a bit of research and had a good idea of what we wanted, we weren’t even sure it would be possible because we needed a particularly tall pergola to accommodate our patio doors, which open outwards.
We were fortunate that, on the day we visited, one of the sales assistants, Wado, was working. He was very helpful and took us around the store, explaining all the different options and variations and really taking the time to understand what we needed. He was able to design a pergola that worked perfectly for our requirements, taking into consideration the specific details of our space and even suggesting things we hadn’t thought of ourselves.
Wado was incredibly patient, knowledgeable and helpful throughout. He is such a warm and friendly person, and we immediately felt comfortable asking questions and discussing our ideas with him. His knowledge of the products and his willingness to find a solution for us made such a difference, and we never felt rushed or pressured.
We also arranged for White Stores to deliver and fit the pergola for us. The fitting was carried out by two men from Bayway Logistics, who did an excellent job. They checked with us at every stage of the installation, explained what they were doing and made sure everything was exactly where we wanted it. They were quick, efficient and extremely polite, and they cleared everything away once the job was finished.
We’re absolutely delighted with the finished pergola. It looks beautiful, fits our space perfectly and has completely transformed our patio.
A huge thank you to Wado and the team at White Stores Manchester, as well as the two men from Bayway Logistics. We’re absolutely delighted with our pergola and highly recommend them!

Mark/Derek/Abraham were simply amazing,made a really good job of it.

Would prefer human contact re delivery date
Ordering online was straightforward, though I thought delivery charges were high for one large box. I received text for delivery day which was no good for me and then was unable to speak to anyone to rearrange, I left mssg on chatbot and it took a few days to receive new delivery date, again by text. Goods arrived on day with good communication and helpful delivery team. Item was easy to assemble and good quality.

I ordered a storage box 12 days ago that said it would be delivered within 3-5 days - I paid a premium delivery to have my item assembled. After 12 days no one has contacted me and I have no idea or if and when its being delivered - terrible communication would not use this company again

Great service, comms and items
Ordered the 6 x 3 Legacy Pergola, with the louvered roof, along with one 3 ft Privacy screen. Overall it was a great experience, the CS guy (Felix) was very helpful and I am delighted with the pergola and screen. The build quality is great and made a real difference to our back garden. I will be ordering more Privacy screens in the future.
