I bought a new 2026 MT-125 in black for my 17-year-old son. The bike looks great, but there was one issue that could be considered either minor or quite serious, depending on how you view it.

The rear brake pedal was only about 11 inches from the ground, while the gear change pedal was around 12 inches high. I personally struggled to feel the brake pedal under my foot, and my son, who is completely new to riding, didn’t even realise there was a rear brake pedal because it was set so low.

I contacted the dealership to explain that the rear brake pedal needed adjusting. They told me the one in their showroom was actually lower than mine, but said I could bring the bike in and they would adjust it quickly as it was only a small job. I asked if they could send someone out instead, since it was a 60-mile round trip and the rear brake position should really have been checked before delivery. They refused.

In the end, I didn’t take the bike back and they didn’t offer to visit. I had originally planned to buy either a new MT-07 or an R7 from them for myself, but instead I purchased a new Aprilia 660 elsewhere. All future servicing for the MT-125 will also be carried out by another dealer.

According to the Yamaha factory manual, the recommended height for the rear brake pedal on an MT-125 is between 25 mm and 35 mm (1 to 1.4 inches) above the top of the foot peg

I purchased a great motorcycle from this dealership. From the minute I contacted them through the website, and then speaking with Luke, communication was 100%.
I was sent a video of the bike, and I identified a minor issue which was immediately rectified; a replacement handguard was purchased and fitted.
This company use a guy called Dale to deliver their motorcycles to customers. Dale contacted me before and during the drive, making the delivery a breeze! The bike had been secured very well in the vehicle and was handled very well at my property.

Received exactly what I bought. It appeared my order waited as “order received “ for 3 or 4 days and my contacting them triggered shipping; or maybe it was coincidence? Communications were ok but a little slow (i was initially given the wrong information for the courier/tracking). I wonder if they’re not a little short handed.

Purchasing a bike was straightforward and its delivery was hassle-free. The bike matched the description perfectly and arrived in excellent condition! However, customer service didn't quite live up to expectations – I found myself having to follow up several times due to slow responses. It took close to three weeks for the bike to arrive, and I also had to reach out about the logbook. Unfortunately, these issues dulled the thrill of getting my first bike.
