Stay Away from Voltes – Horrible Customer Service
I sent my Ninebot G2 scooter to Voltes for repair two months ago, and it’s still not fixed. I had to pay €200 just to ship it to them, and since then, communication has been a nightmare.
They don’t respond to emails, and I’ve only gotten through twice by phone. Both times they were polite and promised to fix the issue – but, shocker, nothing has happened.
If you're thinking of buying from Voltes, think again. If something goes wrong with your product, you’ll be stuck with unreliable support, long wait times, and zero accountability. Now I’m left with no choice but to contact the relevant authorities to try to get my scooter back.
Avoid Voltes – not worth the risk
Ordered electric scooter Segway from Voltes. This was a shipment from Netherlands to UK. Got my parcel within 2 weeks after paying custome charges to Parcel force. This was an extra payment of £60 which was on top of delivery fee - so just be aware to pay for this. Voltes will not inform you about any custom charges, therefore keep checking your email as it will tell you there that your delivery is in a depot awaiting custom charges that you will have to pay. You can wait for a letter, but we paid over the phone with parcel force. Hope this helps.
Even I can say Mr. Martin Metselaar and his collegues are nice guys, the times when they fullfilled enthusiastically new orders are gone. When you order in 2025 be prepared to hear nothing for the next 2 weeks from them. When you finally reach out to them, it will not happen through any published way. They ignore you on the website chat, by emails and telephone. If you are lucky enough to get hold of one of them on a private number you will be told that you have to pay a couple of hundred euros extra for shipping. which, of course, makes there initially very competitive offer very uncompetitive. This company was very good, but do yourself a favour and make a simple google search and you will find out this is not the case anymore. Look for yourself. And hopefully you will be more clever than me and do it before you place the order.
HORRIBLE experience with Voltes
DO NOT SHOP AT VOLTES.
HORRIBLE experience with Voltes. I bought a really expensive product for about 2800 eur, and it catched fire and burnt. When I tried to contact them they refused to take it in for repair and wanted me to ship it to USA for repair, but then I had to pay for the replacements and about 150 eur for shipping and, that's WITHOUT importing fees afterwards. Absoloutely horrible. And even after bringing up my warrenty they refused and straight up stopped answering my calls. Unbelievable! Never buy from these people, they wont do you any good. They didn't even help me with my issue to see if I could fix it at home. I had to contact the European consumer centre and they even ignore them!!! What even is this scam company?? They are responible and they don't care about it. Especially for that price its the worst I've ever experience. All of this has happened a while ago and I've spent MONTHS trying to get it repaired, money back or even replaces. I don't care if it's any of those 3 things anymore, I just need something that works...
I REPEAT. DO NOT SHOP AT VOLTES. Find better places, even if it's more expensive. They are not worth buying at
I am extremely disappointed with the service from this bike shop. My bike broke down after just six months of use, even though it is under a two-year warranty. Despite numerous attempts to get it fixed, the shop has stopped responding to my inquiries. Their lack of responsiveness and failure to honor the warranty is unacceptable. I do not recommend this shop to anyone.
If you dont believe me try ringing customer service before you buy
