I'd give a minus 1 but thats not an option, ordered a hoverboard with everything and it arrived from Santa however it ha never worked. Called/text/emailed , they would not let me return but asked for videos and pics of how it wasn't working. They said the motor on the wheel had to be replaced and told me i would have to find someone to repair it, zero respect for this company, they also sent me the wrong replacement wheel ,they woud not refund me knowing there was an innocent child behind all this. Tried going through consumer rights but Voltes just ignored everything. Shameful company!

I think that it's good to hear that they are bankrupt. It's not really a good bike.
It took a long time to arrive
No Refund and No Response
I purchased a product from Voltes and returned it within the return period. Several weeks have now passed and I still haven’t received my refund.
Getting in touch with the company is nearly impossible: when calling, you only get a standard message saying it’s “too busy” and that you should send an email. After sending multiple emails, I haven’t received any reply at all.
This experience gives me little confidence in the company. Both communication and handling of returns are very poorly managed.
Broken G2 MAX, sent it back and now nothing
-I ordered a e-scooter and after 10 months the battery stopped working.
-According to EU law it is considered a production malfunction.
-Voltes first tried to send me to Denmark for repairs.
-Then they asked me to pay for the shipping to them in Netherlands, which they should pay as it's a production malfunction.
I hope is repaid when the malfunction is confirmed.
-They gave me information that it will take 6-8 weeks to get it repaired or replaced.
-I have now (Aug 13th) been waiting over 9 weeks and they have stopped responding to my emails that I sent after 8 weeks passed.
I will update this review if they handle the matter.

I bought a Pro2 go-kart from this store. There was a problem with Bluetooth. I returned the device for warranty service. The service center determined the defect was not user-made and covered by warranty. They sent me back to the store where I bought the device to decide whether to give me a replacement or a refund. That's where the problem began. The store doesn't respond to my emails, and I can't reach them by phone.

WARNING!!! Do not buy from Voltes Alkmaar! My father bought a Fiido C11 Pro Ebike from them in Mar 2025. 2 months later there was a problem with the crankset and the right pedal fell off. Took the bike back to Voltes under warranty and the staff said need to order spare parts from Poland. After a month of waiting still no news from Voltes. I check that the spare part can just be ordered on Fiido NL website and they have stock. Once I queried the staff at Voltes he just said they have to wait for parts from Poland. Absolutely ridiculous!!! Its just a cheap spare part made in China which you can buy on Aliexpress (exact same brand) Finally, we took the bike back and ask another bikeshop to do the repair and it took him only 3 hours. There are plenty of negative reviews about Voltes Alkmaar and we wished we read them before purchasing. There is ZERO customer service and all the staff in the shop looked like teenagers. Expect no warranty and customer support if you decide to buy a bike from them. I rate them with ZERO STARS!

- STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY - Awful product support and customer service.... Near new hoverboard developed a fault and I contacted Voltes to find out about diagnosing the issue and getting it fixed. They asked me send a video, which I did. No follow-up since from Voltes and they will not respond to emails. After searching reviews this seems like a common problem for their customers. Be aware of misleading 5 star Google reviews as Voltes offer free product for those.
Good prices but..
Really good prices but with untruthful and inaccurate information. Online quantities are wrong and prices change suddenly. I made an order and the second day they reduced the price by 30 euros. They promise you to ship at the same day if you order before 15 but they don't respect that. Shipping times take way longer than what they publish on their website. If the shippment is delayed then it is useless to call them because they will not help you. Overall; my son has missed his birthday gift because they lied about the shipping. If you want to buy from them make sure you pickup up your item from the store directly and avoid their bad delivery services. Check the prices carefully also and make sure to complain if they reduce the price the next day.

Purchased a hoverboard from Santa,never worked, Voltes dragged out replying pushing me over my 30 days. €230 down the drain, broken hearted child. Would not accept me returning it to them. Would not send a replacement. HORRIBLE HORRIBLE COMPANY WITH BAD MORALS.
Very poor service – avoid this store
Bought a Bird e-bike from Voltes. After 6 months it broke down and I returned it for a warranty repair. They claimed to wait for a part, but after half a year of no updates and barely any response to emails or even a formal notice, I picked up the bike unrepaired. Extremely disappointing experience – not recommended.
Avoid this company – misleading shipping information and lacking accountability
I placed an order on April 11th, based on the information clearly stated on their website. The total price at checkout included free shipping, which was confirmed both on the site and in the order confirmation. Great, right?
Then, on April 14th, I received an email from customer service informing me that I now needed to pay over €200 extra for shipping—because their internal system had made a mistake in calculating the cost. They admitted the shipment was more expensive than expected, but instead of taking responsibility for the error, they tried to pass the cost onto me.
This behavior is not only unprofessional but also a violation of EU consumer law, which protects buyers against exactly this kind of bait-and-switch tactic.

Dishonest and disappointing experience – avoid Voltes
I placed an order with Voltes for a WATT Brooklyn bike, which they gladly charged via PayPal—only to inform me after the payment that the product was out of stock.
Not only is this unethical, it’s also potentially illegal: charging customers for items they don’t have available.
The refund process has taken appox. three weeks, and due to currency fluctuations, I ended up losing almost €100—for absolutely nothing.
No real apology, no accountability. Just a frustrating and costly experience.
My strong recommendation: stay far away from Voltes.
