I had brilliant service by the team in…

I had brilliant service by the team in Vision Express Lymington .
Needing help with glasses that were uncomfortable with my new hearing aids . They provided me with a solution, a new style of frames at little cost to myself.
Excellent, friendly service .

Paid for re eye test due to medical…

Paid for re eye test due to medical changes all test were done but on actual glass documentation they no notes about test done or results only told verbal everything is fine but you pay for service so you accept description to be written down. Not told go to A&E if you get symptoms & they nothing on actual paper just given leaflets. I don’t have reference number I can give but date was 18/05/2026 @ 2.45pm test

Niall was excellent in carrying out all…

Niall was excellent in carrying out all the eye examinations.
However the process of choosing glasses was complicated and confusing. I didn't understand the difference in the various categories. The discounts were also confusing and I ended up spending more money than I intended.

Had an eye test in February and…

Had an eye test in February and mentioned that I had double vision. Had new varifocals, which I collected in March under the 100 days, and the varifocals were in the wrong place so they were sent back to be corrected. Mentioned again when I picked them up, that I still had double vision but took the glasses, still under the 100 days. Had a repeat eye test on 18/5/26 to be told that I have severe cataracts in both eyes, the right being the worse eye. I have now been sent and have an urgent appointment on 28/5/26 for cataract surgery. I feel that had my mention of double vision been picked up in February, I would have been seen and had the surgery by now. I am not at all happy at never being told, until 18/5 that I even have cataracts

Nice experience

The salesman Mr Darfy and the Chinese manager Mr Karl offered v good service and explained everything clearly and patiently.

Area of improvement — for a 45- minute consultation, a cup of coffee should be offered to customers.

The team at Vision Express Stafford were First Class and I would not hesitate in recommending them to anyone. Professional, attentive and warm environment. Excellent service and could not fault them. I went for an eye exam as not had one for years and all involved were amazing. Thank You.
