I called in at our local O2 store with…

I called in at our local O2 store with regards ultra fast fibre optic broadband I signed for the package that delivers 500MBs speed and a young man called & installed this at my home near Huddersfield,west Yorks.
You can connect immediately sir he said and yes it was fast, within the hour it went off twice and so I checked the speed & it was only 51MBS about a tenth of what I am paying for, my neighbour has this package so troubled them, having speed checked both systems his was 427MBS but mine was 57MBS.I contacted Virgin
who plainly said its ok this end so NO we will Not send the engineers then transferred to accounts and terminated the contract.Does Virgin mean that the company does not go all the way as a Virgin?

Go elsewhere

Awful experience trying to end a contract. Had to pay £120+ even though the contact was ending. The whole process was terrible. Shame on you

Recently requested to leave virgin and…

Recently requested to leave virgin and join BRSK now fibreone so the new one click switch BRSK informed virgin or this and the disconnection was set for 2 months time from virgin. In the meantime Virgin kept calling with deals and offers as they do to people leaving and never look after there loyal customer. Anyway a deal was offered that was too good to turn down and I accepted. 2 months later they cut me off. No notice of disconnection just woke up one morning and services off. Called up too 3 hours to sort out but then recorded a text saying new contract details. The price had gone up from £25 to £72. The advisor on the phone had lied saying I was back on my old package. Spent another hour sorting this out. Another advisor lied saying Virgin did not have to advise me of disconnection but upon checking this the law states they do. It seems every one you speak to at Virgin is a little clueless. You have to explain the same issue over and over again like it’s a fresh issue everytime you call. Either the advisors are putting notes on that don’t make any sense or the new advisor reading the notes is has learning difficulties.

Summarise Virgin is fine while it works if anything goes wrong you might as well speak to the cat rather than call customer services.
