Absolutely poor the cashout system for football bets is absolutely disgusting on multiple occasions (with provided screenshots too and match timestamps)
I had no cashout on bets with one selection left consisting of 1 corner left , 1 shot on target left and more on separate bets. Also cash outs are very much underpaying for example at the 56th minute of athletico Madrid vs Arsenal at 1-1 my initial returns was £1657 I had only athletico Madrid to win and Griezmann to get an shot on target left and I was offered £156 to cashout not even 10% of what returns were this is absolutely disgusting and I will not be placing football bets again with you guys there’s so many occasions where this has happened it’s really disappointing.

So before I say anything , it’s the random number generator that’s at play . Which is absouloute bull ! It just takes takes and keeps taking ! Account “restricted” so no free games after I had placed some bets no reason given CS Couldnt help just repeated “as per our terms and confitions” and see the email we sent you, despite me repeatedly saying I have recieved an email, they couldn’t

1. refer me to the person that made the decision (so I could discuss)
2. Tell me why the devision was made
3. Get the supposed “email” resent

Talk about misrepresentation placed a £5 bet and NOT honoured promotion offer think this needs to be looked at by the ombudsman….its not the money but the principle you except a promotion to be upheld….poor customer service and relation .

Never had a problem with virgin bet until last month.
400 down, 1 set free spins during play, won 12.50 total game play 42 minuits
2 weeks later 230 down, total game play 24 minutes
Just now 410 down, 1 set spins again, 2.50 win. Total game play 29 minuits.

Was always a fairly good and even game, now I'm done.
No more losing from virgin bet anymore.

Virgin Bet's own staff admit their Monopoly Live game has "visual stutters or jumps" - then blame your internet when you complain.

Their response (Jack M, Shift Manager, 2 Apr 2026):
"Visual stutters or 'jumps' can occur due to a variety of local factors (e.g., internet connection, device performance)"
So the wheel animation that shows you "almost" winning? That can just... glitch. But they claim the secret server result is still fair. You just can't see it. And they won't show you the logs to prove it.

The math they dismissed: 87.5% below expected bonus frequency over 6 hours. Probability: ~1 in 6 billion. Their verdict: "short-term variance."
The offer: £20 cash "goodwill gesture" after taking £250+.

I had a very frustrating experience with Virgin Bet and want to share what happened so others are aware.

I contacted support because I didn’t want to use their AI‑based biometric verification system. The automated assistant gave generic information, so I asked to speak to a human agent. After providing all my account details, the agent told me I must complete biometric verification to withdraw my funds.

I explained that I would never have signed up if I’d known biometric ID would be required. I deposited money, played, and won without being asked for any ID at all. Only when I tried to withdraw did they suddenly demand a video selfie and ID upload.

I asked why this wasn’t required at sign‑up and whether there was an alternative method (post, email, bank verification, etc.). They said no — biometric only.

I then asked for escalation. The manager simply repeated that their terms allow them to request ID “at any time” and that they can withhold funds until I comply.

I eventually asked for my account to be closed and for my balance (about thirty-five quid) to be sent to me. Instead of helping, they closed the account immediately, which now means I can’t even access the verification system if I wanted to.

So I’m stuck:

They won’t release my money without biometric verification

They closed my account before I could complete anything

They refuse to offer any non‑biometric alternative

I can’t log in to do what they’re demanding even if I changed my mind and went along with biometric verification

As others have reviewed on here, quick to take a deposit, but not so quick to pay out...
They were happy to take my deposit instantly, but only raised ID requirements when I tried to withdraw. The whole process feels unfair and poorly handled.

I’ve raised a formal complaint and will escalate it further if needed. Screenshots taken of all interactions as proof.

They run weekly promotions for VIP customers and then increase the staking rather than reduce the spins to get customers to spend more money. They use wage slips from over three years ago and don't request new ones. Monthly VIP loyalty is only based on losses and not loyalty. They allow 15 deposits in one day and don't see that as a red flag. If you want to be drawn into being a compulsive gambler and lose everything then this is the perfect company for you.

Used this online site for a while now, great odds on horse racing, football too, I found it hard to update my details, chatbot can be a nightmare, be better if you could actually talk to a customer representative instead, my favourite
