Veterans United made the home buying process smooth, straightforward, and stress-free from start to finish. As a veteran, I appreciated how knowledgeable they were about VA loans and how they kept me informed throughout every step of the process. This is the 3rd home I have purchased through veterans united, a very easy to use company and the team with Randy was wonderful.

NOT a veterans affiliated organization at all. I am a 30 year veteran who went to them for a VA home loan, believing the marketing that they support veterans and are affiliated with the VA. They immediately tried to dissuade a VA loan upfront. Said that our property did not qualify for an VA loan. When stated many times that I ONLY wanted an VA loan, they dragged their feet, repeatedly request the same document over & over (up to 6 times), and tried 3 times to place me into a conventional loan. I provided all the documents within a few days of requesting. They continually delayed & we missed our closing date. Days before the first closing date, VU called stated they had all the paperwork & everything ready for a conventional loan where I would have to pay PMI, 20% down payment, and loan funding fee to them (all waived in the VA loan). When I said no again, we had to move the closing a month later. I have excellent credit, purchased multiple properties in the past, and I have money in the bank. Never had any problems with loans/mortgages. I almost missed the second closing date as well due to their pressuring me again into a conventional loan (more money for them).
There were so many things that made this the most painful mortgage of my life. I have a close friend and 30 yr veteran who recently had the exact same experience with VU. She almost missed her closing date as well. Both of us did not know the DAY of closing whether it was a go. If you are a veteran, do not use Veterans United mortgage co.

The entire team really was amazing. We had Ty Reece, Natascha and Max as our go to contacts - we know there were many working behind the scenes also. We really couldn’t brag on them enough! They were wonderful and walked us through every step. Home buying is a crazy process, but we really felt like they were on our team and had our backs. To the entire team, no notes, you guys rock! What you do matters to us!

Gavin, my Home Buying Concierge, was equally phenomenal. He checked in regularly, made sure I had the resources I needed, and genuinely cared about my experience. His positive attitude, responsiveness, and willingness to help made a lasting impression.

What impressed me most wasn’t just how knowledgeable this team was—it was how much they genuinely cared. Every phone call, every email, and every interaction reflected a team that takes tremendous pride in serving Veterans and helping families achieve homeownership. That kind of dedication can’t be taught; it comes from people who truly love what they do.

Because of this team, what could have been one of the most stressful experiences of my life became one of the most exciting and rewarding. I would recommend Veterans United without hesitation to every Veteran, service member, and military family I know.
