Excellent service and true to size
I have promptly received the order I made for two pairs of summery cotton-based shoes (Nova HT canvas and Campo J-mesh). The 8.5 sizing fits quite well. Really happy I don’t have to return them. Time will tell if the shoes hold in rotation with other pairs after which I can edit this review.
I highly recommend shopping directly from Veja (or your local reseller if you have one).

I purchased a pair of sneakers for…
I purchased a pair of sneakers for nearly $200 that became defective after only two wears. I returned them, and the company received the shoes on May 11. It is now over five weeks later and I have received no refund, no store credit, and no communication about how to obtain a replacement.
Their customer service hid behind a no-refund policy despite the product being defective, and my experience has been incredibly frustrating from start to finish.
I cannot recommend this company and will never purchase from them again.

I am disappointed with the quality and service
I am very disappointed with both the quality of VEJA shoes and their customer service. After a relatively short period of use, the stitching started to fail, yet VEJA refused to take any responsibility and simply referred me back to the retailer. For a brand that promotes quality and sustainability, I expected much better support. Unfortunately, it seems that once the sale is made, the customer is left on their own. I cannot recommend this brand based on my experience.

I’ve been a loyal customer of Veja for…
I’ve been a loyal customer of Veja for years, which makes this even more disappointing. I purchased a pair of suede trainers that were far from cheap, and within 4 weeks of wearing them they developed a large rip at the front due to what is clearly poor quality materials or manufacturing.
When they first arrived, I did notice a slight scuff, but I didn’t expect that normal wear would quickly turn it into a major hole. Instead of standing by the quality of their products, Veja chose to blame me rather than acknowledge the issue.
For a brand positioning itself as premium, the quality and customer service fell well below expectations. It honestly feels like standards have seriously dropped, and the company now seems more interested in avoiding responsibility than looking after long-term customers.
Sadly, after years of buying from Veja, I won’t be purchasing from them again.

However, based on the photos provided and the clean, sharp tear observed at the front of the shoe, this type of damage is more consistent with an external factor (such as a snag, impact, or friction) rather than an issue related to materials or manufacturing.
You also mentioned noticing a scuff when the pair was first received. Unfortunately, this was not reported to us at the time. Should you be able to provide photos showing the condition of the pair upon delivery, including this initial scuff, we would of course be happy to review your case again accordingly.
At this stage, the nature of the damage does not allow us to classify the issue as a manufacturing defect.
