Very bad
Very, very bad post cooperation service. For three years we have informed them (by emails and by support/tickets) we dont need domain but UD have sent us letter to push us pay. This year again. It lasts for three years. What they need?? Court order??

1. Why do you decide to renew domain despite of he fact that we did not give you confirmation to renew it?
2. I have sent you several emails asking not to renew domain registration on https://www*united-domains*de/support/kontakt-formular/close/ but I recieved no response.
3. I bought domain for one year and after the year you renew it yourself and push me to pay money for next year wich is very dishonest approach in my opinion.
Customers should pay attention to your terms and conditions.

I have recieved information/recommendation by UD support, to better read terms. So I recommend to all potential customers read better terms of cooperation with UD. You can avoid the disappointment.
Automatical reneweal of domain is good, but only in case you have choosen it yourself!! We have about 200 domains by 20 registrars (from countries like: US, JP, RF, CZ) and only UD has automatical reneweal without customer approval/insettings in domain administration panel.

I understand that you are upset when you pay for a domain that you no longer desire. Please understand that we incur expenses even though you choose not to use your domain name. Many customers register a domain name without immediate use as a website. Nevertheless, we still have to pay the registry for your domain if it is registered.
The first cancellation we received was towards the end of 2019, but at the time, the domain had renewed already. To avoid the renewal of a domain name, we need to receive the cancellation 14 days before renewal. The easiest way is to use our online form:

I was unable to find any prior cancellations, but we confirm receipt of every e-mail and provide a ticket number. If you have sent us a prior cancellation notice – as you claim in your review – please send us your ticket number, and we will look into your matter. Regarding your questions in your update:
1. united-domains operates in Germany, where the industry standard for domain name registrations is autorenewal. It is expected by our customers to provide this model since it is safer than a customer initiated domain renewal. In many countries, autorenewal is standard practice – even in the US.
2. If you have sent us a prior cancellation notice, please send us your ticket number, and we will look into it. We automatically confirm every e-mail sent via our web form or sent to us directly via our support e-mail address with a ticket number. We also monitor that this service is running correctly. Please don't forget to check you spam folder for the confirmation e-mail.
3. Please see answer no.1: Our customers expect auto-renewal, and it is the industry standard.
