Tutor hunt is a very easy to use platform, and it’s really straightforward to find and connect with a suitable tutor. There are a good variety of tutors, and they all seem to be a good quality. From the students point of view, the platform is really easy to navigate.
The site makes it very straightforward and stress free, and takes care of everything – once you have found your tutor it’s easy to message them, and very straightforward to book lessons. Reminders are sent in a timely fashion and payment is taken automatically once you have had the lesson.

I’ve been using Tutor Hunt for over 5 years now to find tutors for my children, both for in-person and online lessons, and I can honestly say I’ve never had a bad experience. The tutors we’ve worked with have all been reliable, professional, and—most importantly—knowledgeable in their subjects.

It’s clear that Tutor Hunt has a solid process in place for selecting and managing tutors, as the quality has been consistently high. I also appreciate that the reviews on the site are genuine and really helpful; I always read them before contacting a tutor, and they’ve guided me well every time.

Tutor hunt's commission is way too high at 32%. It becomes not worth tutoring for the amount of money you get paid. I am very disappointed in this platform.

Sid is an excellent tutor who has helped me so much. Not only is he very familiar with the mark scheme but also knows exactly what GCSE examiners are looking for and what they aren’t. All of his essays are compelling, understandable and organised and he is very familiar with all texts and poems. He is a very patient person who explains things as thoroughly as possible and constantly quizzes you to make sure you’re listening and actively learning. Thank you Sid for all your help. :)

Sarah is a highly skilled, cordial and professional English tutor for my daughter, who struggled with organising her thoughts and knowledge in A level exam situations. Sarah has given her an invaluable guidance, challenged and boosted my daughter’s confidence through simple clarification of the exam expectations in friendly manner. She has also helped my daughter with develop deeper understanding of the texts, channeling her thoughts and be more specific in her writing while not loosing the creativity and personal style.
