Simple to use and the search function is good. My son really likes his tutor. There are no hidden costs. The reminders are also great

I’ve been using Tutor Hunt for years, but my recent experience has been extremely frustrating and disappointing.

I was charged twice for a single lesson. I reported the issue through their feedback form, waited a week, then followed up by email. Still no response. I even tried calling the phone number on their website, but couldn’t reach anyone.

What’s most concerning is not just the double charge, but the complete lack of customer support. When something goes wrong, there is simply no way to get help.

A company’s quality shows when problems arise — and in this case, Tutor Hunt has failed badly. If this isn’t resolved soon, I will be forced to close my account and cancel my ongoing lessons, which is not something I want to do.

I would strongly advise others to be cautious.

Really easy to find a suitable tutor for my 15 year old daughter. Simple to set up and easy to describe what we wanted. She diligently dials in to her lesson every week,

My son is enjoying his A-level Maths lessons, James is patient and covers specific details of chosen topics, and explains methods well.

Their funding model shouldn’t be allowed. Taking a huge proportion of the lesson fee for nothing. I’m writing to my MP about these business practices. Taking such a huge amount, is akin to employment. In do doing so, they should offer workers rights and pay taxes accordingly.

I am so pleased i choose Daniella as an english tutor for GCSE.

Lucinda Hunt, the tutor who has supported my daughter over the last year has been brilliant. My daughter lacked confidence, suffers with anxiety and was always afraid to ask her school teacher for help if unsure. Lucinda has built on her confidence and provided her with the time and attention she needed to prepare for her English GCSE. My daughter has completed her GCSE mocks this year and felt far more prepared and commented that she couldn’t stop writing (she’s never said that before). Lucinda has provided me with informed updates about her performance (far more than her school teachers ever have) I’d recommend Lucinda to anyone and I hope she’ll be able to support my younger daughter too.
