Don't use airport pick-up…
Preordered foreign currency for pick-up at the airport on two separate occasions a year or so apart. On both occasions, the ordering process was quick and simple, but the pick-up process at the airport was long and convoluted. This is due to a combination of their airport booth being understaffed and their complex internal systems. I recommend picking up prior to departure from somewhere other than the airport with the added advantage of being able to use another foreign exchange service other than the monopoly service at the airport.

Very average service
Rate was ok, can do much better through wise and revolut. Visited the travelex on two different occasions in Narellan, she was always on a lunch break which was very inconvenient. The rules on collection are very restrictive- must book a date to collect and cannot change it.

Travelex must supply smaller note denominations
While the delivery of foreign currency is convenient, the inability to request specific denominations is extremely unhelpful. My request for USD1400 gave me 14 x USD100 bills. These bills will need to be changed immediately upon our arrival in Ecuador, as we have been advised that many vendors will not accept such a large denomination. We need smaller denominations - preferably $1, $5, $10 and $20 in order to conduct transactions and importantly, to tip service staff (as we are advised by custom). Surely Travelex could create a system whereby customers can specify denominations? Would make our travel experience and our engagement with Travelex much better.

The usual young Women whom have assisted me previously were not at the Travelex Counter when I arrived to collect my Currency and she did not know where my Currency was but she soon rectified the problem and assisted me.

Unfortunately some of the exchange rates were terrible. In particular the AUD - CHF rate had me looking elsewhere.
