Great experience with Trade Depot over last few weeks - ease of local store and helpful staff, thank you

Would not recommend, reasonable service until I paid then it was one disaster after another. Lots of people making promises with no action, I finally got my delivery and they had forgotten my microwave and we live out of a main town. The merry go around started again. I would NOT use them again. Avoid not worth the saving in the stress

The customer service is good
The range of goods is wide, and the choice of brands is excellent

Me and my friend ordered 2 washing machines,2 fridges,2freezers and 2 dryers from the trade depot in to same address and they delivered our items in multiple days and it was taken about a month and they delivered everything without a fridge.Then I tried to contact them over the phone and no one response to phone.So that I visited trade depot Christchurch and asked about the fridge and at that time they said they already delivered both fridges. Then when I said I didn’t get a fridge and It’s needed to deliver one more fridge and at that time they said they will contact their dispatch team and let me know.
But next day when I call them they said they definitely delivered the fridge and they got photo evidence as-well. When I checked the photo evidences it was the same fridge but 2 photos from different angles.then I explained all the similarities in the fridge in both photos,then they agreed with me and gave the fridge for me.
So they are not working with a responsibility and customer service is really bad. And they played someone’s dignity and they considered me as a thief because of their fault.I’m really disappointed about their service and this is the bad service I ever had.

Helpful staff, good range of items and well priced.

Trade Depot had the freezer I needed at a great price. The guarantee/warranty is no different than the "high end" brands at a fraction of the price.

Easy to order online. The price of the front loader washing machine was excellent - very much better than Noel Leeming or Harvey Norman for a similar machine. It was delivered to my door at no extra cost and within 1 week.

Shockingly bad service over two separate orders.
The tracking information supplied is non existent or blatantly wrong. On the first order a $350 part was damaged, a $50 refund was offered. After two weeks with no updates on the second order, I started chasing things I found my purchase hasn't even been dispatched. Promises about delivery were made, promises were broken. Refund requests have been ignored.
It has been over a month since I made my purchase and I have only got traction from their staff by threatening legal action under the consumer guarantee act.
I still don't have my purchase or a refund though.

trade depot always has well priced products for home handyman and most products better than people imagine

Made my order online but somehow ordered x2. I only wanted one , lady picked up on my order not completed correctly and rang me and put it right. Thank you so much trade depot.

I had a click-and-collect order with Trade Depot and the experience was excellent. My order was prepared and ready for collection when I arrived, making the whole process quick and hassle-free.

The staff were efficient and organised, and everything was exactly as ordered. It was great to be able to collect my items without any waiting around. Fast, accurate, and professional service.

I would definitely use Trade Depot again and highly recommend them. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Customer service becoming too bad now a days, it was excellent when they were small one store. Now pay the money in one place, collect from other side of the road. Before payment, you are informed that we have plenty stock. When you go other side, we don't have any stock. Go to the store where you paid. You come to the store, same wording, we have plenty stock. But end of the day, you become ping pong ball to them. At one stage, the sales guy, Mr Andy was shouting to the client. It seems going to Trade Depot was a big mistake
Be aware of this store! No customer service at all.

Similar experience to many other reviews here. Ordered a dryer on 18 May, same day our old one broke. It showed as in stock in our closest branch, so I hoped delivery wouldn't be too long. Weeks went by (not great with two small children generating truckloads of washing), with the 'estimated delivery date' constantly pushed forward. Finally got a number to call, and was promised it would "be on a truck tomorrow". Surprise: nothing happened. We finally cancelled our order, and were promised a refund within 1-4 working days. Guess what: it's now a week later and still no refund. I suppose now the waiting game begins for that.

They are quite happy to take your money, god only knows what they do afterwards though. Definitely avoid these muppets if you value your sanity. I won't ever order from them again, and nor should you.

Placed an order beginning of May. Received tracking saying would be shipped on 12th May. Nothing arrived, followed up several times and eventually was told it was left off the truck but would be on next run. Was then told again it was left off the truck, and then it just never showed. Finally convinced them to cancel my order, promises of a refund but 2 weeks on nothing and no replies to emails. Shame as previously only had good experiences but clearly something has changed. Won't be using again and will go to Disputes Tribunal if the refund isn't forthcoming I guess.

Refund was issued as noted below in the reply but not by Trade Depot. Afterpay advised Trade Depot also ignored their attempts at contact and issued it for me, not Trade Depot. Glad I used this, otherwise for those waiting contact your bank and they may also be able to do the same.

Affordable prices. Quick assistance. And loaded the product into my car. Lots and lots of options. Love shopping at Trade Depot.
