I purchased this dishwasher online from Trade Depot and overall I’m happy with both the product and very happy with the service. The Trade Depot team were excellent. I needed to change my delivery timing after ordering and they were friendly, helpful and easy to deal with. The installer was also prompt, professional and did a great job.

The biggest thing I’d like future buyers to know isn’t actually about the dishwasher itself—it’s about the delivery and installation process. If you pay for installation and removal of your old dishwasher, the installation is not done on the delivery day. I hadn’t realised this when ordering. I think it could be made clearer when you select the install and removal item in the online checkout. Also, the delivery driver will leave the dishwasher at your property but won’t bring it inside the house. I understand this reduces the risk of damage, but if you’re not a tradie or don’t have someone to help, make sure you have somewhere safe (like a garage) to store it until installation. That was probably the biggest surprise for me.

As for the entry level Midea dishwasher, it represents good value for the price, but there are some compromises compared with more expensive models. The lower basket has quite short tines, which work well for dinner plates but aren’t ideal for deeper pasta bowls I use a lot. I can only fit 3 bowls where my very old previous dishwasher took 7. The upper rack also doesn’t accommodate many standard-sized mugs and taller drinking glasses unless you lower it, but doing that does not leave room for the spray arm to move above standard Briscoes dinner plates underneath. I’m gradually finding a loading routine that works, but it doesn’t have the flexibility of higher-end machines.

One other thing worth mentioning is the drying. I’d read another review saying there was quite a lot of moisture left inside after the cycle and thought I could live with it. There is actually more water than I expected. The grey plastic ends of your and lower racks two a lot of water. And the cutlery tray traps even more! This totals a surprising amount of water retained. Wiping them dry can leave a tea towel soaking wet. The dishes themselves are very clean and dry. I thought the app was gimmicky and didn't expect I'd use it but it's actually very cool. Once loaded I put the further tablet in and walk away. I can set the timer or start it from my phone without having to come back to the room. Great for taking advantage of off peak power.

Overall, I’d recommend both Trade Depot and entry level Midea dishwashers if you’re shopping on a budget. The customer service was excellent, the installation process was smooth once arranged, and the dishwasher offers good value for the money. Just go into the purchase understanding the delivery process and that this is an entry-level machine with a few practical compromises. Would definitely buy from Trade Depot again!

After 3months I did not receive all the pieces I needed to assemble my kitchen units. I DO NOT recommend ordering any cabinets from them if you NEED them.
Their communication is poor. It took over a week for a response.
They have told me they wont refund me until they have them returned to them but are yet to collect them even though I have boxed and had them sat ready.
Im taking this further if they dont sort this in the 2week window I gave them which ends this Friday (its Tuesday now).
They are now saying I didnt return the items they never sent me(reason I wanted to return refund in the 1st place)

100 percent would recommend Trade Depot , if you need a bargain and a great experience it’s here whanau 💯

Great price great product friendly staff my only thing would be when your stocks are low makesure its actually there as I brought online and choose to pick up only to find that the stock you had in system wasn't there took time outta my day for that error thanks

We bought an incorrect product online, with free delivery. They offered to replace it with the correct one, collect and deliver free of charge. Was not expecting that. We couldn't wait so took it back to hamilton to swap. Warehouse guys were amazing.

I ordered two products, the first came and the second was delayed with no communication. After trying to communicate with them and getting frustrated by unclear replies, it did finally arrive about 2 months later. The box was broken and parts missing. I tried to contact them and they said something would be done about it the messenger conversation would be closed so that it would go to email. I never heard again from them. I will not buy from them again.

Worst service ever, it's been 2 and a half weeks of gaslighting....
Ordered a fridge 2nd of June, it came within a week, damaged. Finally I returned it via pickup 20th of June, where they promised it would be a swop, bringing the new one on the same truck as the damaged one is leaving on. Since then I've been waiting for any communication from them, receiving nothing, until last week Tuesday when I started calling them each day(CHC branch) each time promising that they're escalating the situation, and some how every time I call the dispatch manager isn't answering the phone. Each one one of them promising an update via email. Still nothing, Monday I called head office (a few times) , still the lies continued, all of a sudden the item was marked to be picked up in Auckland? And that the error would be corrected and the fridge would be sent on the next available date either yesterday or the day before, I jumped on the chat bot today, requesting a cancelation, it's been an hour but at least "Ace" is getting me some ware
