HONEST FEEDBACK

HONEST FEEDBACK

They hire Filipinos and not knowing how remote BPO works. Underpaid (around PHP 25,000) given the workload and expectations.

Training is not properly conducted—materials are handed over, but there is little to no actual teaching

No one-on-one guidance; new hires are expected to learn everything independently

Extremely short training window (3–4 days), which is not enough for most roles

Unrealistic expectations to quickly absorb and retain large amounts of information

Constant pressure to perform immediately despite inadequate preparation

Training process is disorganised and lacks structure

Management approach during training can feel unsupportive and overly demanding

Advice to Management:Provide proper training, not just materials. Assign dedicated support for new hires, extend the onboarding period, and set realistic expectations. A more structured and supportive approach would significantly improve both performance and retention.

Overall Review:The company expects fast results without providing the necessary support or structure. For most applicants, especially beginners, the experience can be frustrating due to the lack of proper training and low compensation. VERY
UNREALISTIC.

Team Leader (Tanya) is incompetent and her assistant (Grace), honestly, they don't know what they're doing.

Excellent products and service

Timbawood has over 3 years, replaced patio doors and casement windows at my home. The doors and windows look lovely and have the character look and great quality I wanted for my property.
Thank you Robert for the excellent design service and for such beautiful doors and windows. The installers Vasile and Cezar delivered a super installation with great attention to detail and rendering skills to match my existing rough cast render. Exceeded expectation achieving this render match. The aftersales service from David was also great for the one door that needed some adjusting. Appreciated the customer service approach to resolving the issue. I would highly recommend Timbawood. I am looking forward to working with the Timbawood team as I continue to replace and upgrade my doors and windows .

First class experience with Timbawood

First class experience with Timbawood - replaced a large bay and a small bay window in my Edwardian flat. Lovely windows. Plus, their fitters are excellent - so careful, courteous, and worked solidly for four days to deliver total customer satisfaction. Thank you again Cesar and Vasily, and all the team at Timbawood.

Excellent Timbawood double-glazed sash windows.

Timbawood have just replaced most of the draughty old single-glazed sash windows in our house with new wooden framed double-glazed ones and we are extremely pleased with the result. The windows and frames themselves are excellent and closely match the appearance of the original late Victorian ones. The installers Cesar and Vasily did a superb job with great attention to detail. They also took great care to protect the contents of each room they worked in from dust, and cleaned and tidied the surrounding areas at the end of every day. Would certainly recommend.

Excellent product and fitting - recommended

Excellent product and service from Timbawood. Helpful workshop visit and 4 month lead time with good communication. The fitters were perfectionists, working for 5 days non stop to fit 4 large windows. The actual window install was quick, what took time was the finishing, which was good quality. The windows themselves are very good quality and waterproofing, particularly around the sill, has been done well.

The poor reviewer below must have been unlucky to have different fitters. Definitely ask for Vasile (has been at Timbawood for over 10 years) and Cezar.

Poor installation and windows…

Having 1 year old with nursery windows that could not be opened we were exited finally splash the cash (£7k for two windows) and get new windows. Now we are (busy working parents of 1 year old) sitting in stress and writing complain under consumer act 2015.
- installers ripped off new leadwork (even did not unscrew but ripped off with screws) and poorly fit back using silicon (the one you use for bathroom). No gaps have been sealed etc. Given that windows are mansard we expect leaks with the next rain.
- Flimsy, poorly attached woodwork around window (sill and architraves) moving when pressed by hand.
- Visible gaps between wooden components of the frame.
- Windows paint scratched all over the window.
- Visible gap between the frame and the sill. This will eventually cause water damage to the surrounding walls and mould forming around the frame
- windows that don’t open and close properly. Sashes are much smaller than the frame and ‘wobble’ inside. This result in a gap between the sash and frame when closed. Impossible to fully close with one hand. Weights are not balanced, unless the latch is closed, the window does not stay closed.
- Paint outside has not been scratched and is visible on the glass from inside.

'We are confident that you won't find a better product elsewhere' - this is from Timbawood quotation. - Well I bet I can find and this could be any window, including my old one.

Exceptional service

I have just had exceptional service from Timbawood: the product itself is brilliant, the doors and windows look gorgeous and are clearly very secure and well made. But just as impressive were the two fitters, Vasile and Cezar, who have worked tirelessly and impeccably for the last 5 days fitting the three sets of windows. They have made good with huge care and a pleasingly pedantic eye for detail, and have left the place clean and tidy. I would welcome them back any day. Thank you Cezar, Vasile and Timbawood: I highly recommend this company.

Superb Workmanship

Timbawood replaced our ugly 1970s glazed door and frame with a replica of the beautiful but complex Victorian doors in our area. The result has transformed the appearance of our property and the warmth and security of our front hall. Our door fitters (Steve & Igor) worked for two days literally without stopping to complete a complex install, and their attention to detail was impressive. My only criticism is that Timbawood's draught seals are made of very stiff plastic, which makes the door difficult to open and close if you have weak fingers (I suffer from Carpal Tunnel Syndrome and, in the end, we had to adjust the hinges to the point where the seal is not quite perfect).
