Our trip through Tibet involved some unexpected changes due to severe weather and snow, particularly around Mount Kailash. Although this was disappointing, we understood that the weather was outside Tibet Vista’s control. What mattered to us was the help we received when our plans had to change.

Liam Jiang, Tenzing Lhasa, and our driver Sidha were kind and supportive throughout. When arrangements needed to be revised at short notice, they worked hard to find alternatives and help us continue our journey. We felt supported during the uncertain moments, and we really appreciated their patience and flexibility.

The trip didn’t follow the exact itinerary we had expected, but it was still a meaningful and memorable experience. We’re grateful to everyone at Tibet Vista who helped us before and during our travels, and we came home with lasting memories of Tibet.

My 15-day Mount Kailash and Mansarovar Yatra was truly one of the most spiritual, memorable, and life-changing journeys of my life.

From the beginning to the end, the entire journey was very well organised. Travelling through the beautiful and challenging landscapes of Tibet, visiting the sacred Lake Mansarovar, and completing the Mount Kailash Kora was an experience that I will always treasure. Despite the high altitude and difficult conditions, the journey was made much easier and more enjoyable because of the excellent support from our team.

A very special mention goes to our tour guide Kunchok. He was extremely helpful, knowledgeable, patient and caring throughout the entire journey. He always made sure that everyone was comfortable and informed about what was happening. His knowledge of the region, local culture, history and spiritual significance of the pilgrimage added so much value to our experience. Kunchok was always approachable and ready to help whenever we needed him. His calm and positive attitude gave us confidence, especially during the more challenging parts of the Yatra.

I would also like to give a big thank you to our bus driver, Sonam. Driving through the difficult mountain roads and high-altitude terrain is not easy, but Sonam handled everything very professionally and carefully. We always felt safe and comfortable during the long journeys. His friendly nature and helpful attitude made a big difference to our experience.

The breathtaking views of the Himalayas, the divine atmosphere of Mansarovar, and the sacred Mount Kailash Kora are memories that will stay with me forever. This was much more than just a trip—it was a deeply spiritual and unforgettable journey.

I am especially grateful to Kunchok and Sonam for their dedication, patience, kindness and professionalism throughout these 15 days. They both played an important part in making our Yatra such a beautiful experience.

Highly recommended for anyone planning the Mount Kailash and Mansarovar Yatra. If you are fortunate enough to have Kunchok as your guide and Sonam as your driver, you will be in very good hands.

Panchenjap is a great guide. This is my 2nd trip with Tibet Vista. He definitely helped this round to be better. Although due to weather we had challenges, he was able to pull together what was available and provided us with a great experience.

i joined a 13day tour to Mt Kailash to do a kora around the mountain,tour started 20th july 2026 I was never copied into the daily updates via phone as i joined the tour on the day of leaving and did not know about this form of communication the guide spoke english but never provided daily updates on the bus.day one lhasa to shigatse spent 13 hrs on the bus left hotel 9am arrived shigatse 10pm was advised that food would be available once we arrived at shigatse not so no where open at 10pm same issue the following day 13 hrs on the bus got to the ebc bus station 10pm in the evening no food available waited 2 hrs for a bus to the accommodation arrived 12 30 am got up 6 am to view MT everest what a fizzer mountain was fogged in so could not see it not that that worried me as i was not interested in seeing it any did all the tourist things on the 3 other trips to tibet i made day 3 more of the same long hrs on the bus more like a route march than a holiday.as stated i was not given any updates as to what was happening and the tour guide did not give daily updates did the kora day 1 okay ,day 2 mised where we were supposed to stay that night walked another 5 klms and paid for accommodation myself,only good thing about the kora guest houses were clean.arrived back in lhasa organised for the company to pick me up and take me to the airport agreed to by them said the car would be there at 11am at my hotel to take me to the airport never arrived luckily the was a tour guide from this company in the hotel lobby she organised a taxi to take me to the airport all good.i have done a couple of tours prior in tibet and have never had any issues with anything except with this company.i left lhasa on the 2/august and have asked for a refund for the hotel i payed for on the kora todays date is 1/oct as of yet i have receivd no refund from tibet vista tours only emails from someone called Kristin firstly telling me they can do it by paypal,secondly offered to double my cost of the accommodation i am still waiting for the refund to land in my account but do not hold out much hope.
The only advice i would give fellow travellers if you use this company make sure you do not spend 13hrs a day (for3days) on a bus,as this gives you no opportunity to explore the places you stay at as you leave early morning and arrive late at night for 3 daysi have advised them to make the tour a day longer and give epole time to look around where they are staying but i doubt it will happen,would i use this company again yes but would be adamant about spending excessive amount of times on buses and would want better communication from the tour guide,i also had an issue with this kristin but she refused to talk to me about it speaks volumes about tibet vista tours.

Our experience in Tibet between 9th Sep and 21st Sep, and the Mount Kailash Kora from 15th to 17th Sep was made truly special because of our guide, Keldor from Tibet Vista.

Keldor was much more than a tour guide. His excellent knowledge of Tibetan history, Buddhism, monasteries, culture, traditions and the spiritual significance of the places we visited added so much depth to our journey. Whether we were visiting monasteries, travelling through remote parts of Tibet or learning about the history and way of life of the Tibetan people, he always explained everything with great knowledge, patience and passion.

Most importantly, during our three-day, 48 km Kora around Mount Kailash, Keldor took exceptional care of both of us. The Kora, including the challenging 5,630-metre Dolma Pass, was a physically and mentally demanding experience. His guidance, encouragement, constant attention and genuine concern for our wellbeing gave us the confidence to keep going and complete the Kora safely.

He was always there when we needed him, quietly making sure that we were comfortable, safe and able to continue. His support meant a great deal to us, and we genuinely feel that because of Keldor, we were able to complete this once-in-a-lifetime journey around Mount Kailash.

What stood out most was his kindness and the personal care he showed towards us throughout the journey. He treated us not simply as tourists, but with genuine warmth and concern.

We will always remember our journey to Tibet, Mount Kailash and Lake Manasarovar, and Keldor will always be an important part of that memory.

A very special shoutout to our incredible guide, Pasang, who was very knowledgeable, caring, funny and energetic. His bubbly nature made the trip even more enjoyable. From start to finish, Pasang took care of every one of us and made sure we were happy and doing well every step of the way. Travelling at such high altitudes can be challenging and so his support and genuine care were especially appreciated.

Pasang quickly became much more than just our guide - he became a good friend. We feel incredibly fortunate to have met him and could have not asked for a more amazing and inspiring person to be apart of this experience with us. Our driver, Hu an, was also amazing and incredibly reliable. He was always smiling and made us feel safe and comfortable throughout the trip.

It was very well organised. We did 7 days tour. The tour guide, Dickey and driver, Topgyal were super! They organised the drive and the sightseeing perfectly even though some places took long drive. Love learning the history and local cultures from Dickey. Tibet Vista made Tibet experience really memorable thank you and 100% recommend this tour!!

We had a wonderful eight-day trip with our guide, Dickey, and our driver, Topgyal.

Dickey explained everything clearly and in detail. Whenever we had trouble understanding something in English, she would explain it again in Chinese. She was always happy to answer our questions and help us.

Both Dickey and Topgyal were friendly, funny, and great at handling unexpected situations. Their humour made the trip even more enjoyable. Through our conversations with them, we also learned a lot about Tibetan daily life, customs, and culture.

We were especially lucky to see the recently held Semo Chenmo Cham Festival, which was an unexpected and unforgettable highlight.

This was our first visit to Tibet, and it left a deep impression on us. Eight days only allowed us to scratch the surface, so we hope to return and explore more.

Thanks to the travel agency for putting together such a wonderful group. The scenery was beautiful, but our fellow travellers made the journey even more special. We loved meeting new people and sharing different experiences and perspectives with travellers from around the world.

The tour from start to finish was amazing. Our guide, Dickey, was very fun, bubbly, and knowledgeable. She answered all of our random questions! Everything was well planned and easy. The tour really gives you a great look at Tibetan culture and the chance to experience some of it for yourself. Seeing Everest was also a dream come true. The whole group started as strangers and became friends along the way! It was truly one of the most fun and interesting experiences I have had. Highly recommend!!

Kunchok is an outstanding guide, with extensive knowledge of Tibetan history, culture, and spirituality. During our visits to monasteries, temples, and other remarkable places, his explanations were always fascinating and helped us understand Tibet on a much deeper level. But what impressed me just as much was his extraordinary ability to take care of the individual needs of every member of the group. He was always patient, kind, attentive, and ready to help, especially during the more challenging parts of our journey.

Karma was an exceptional driver who made us feel completely safe throughout the long and sometimes difficult roads of Tibet. Beyond his excellent driving skills, his cheerful personality, sense of humor, and positive energy brought so much fun and warmth to our journey — something especially valuable during such a physically demanding adventure.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ An incredible journey – and a very special thank you to PANCHENJAP!

It is actually quite difficult for me to rate this journey, because Tibet was much more than just a tour for me.

I have travelled quite a lot in my life and have also been in the Himalayas several times, but Tibet was different. The landscapes were incredible, of course, but what really stayed with me were the people, the monasteries, the spirituality and all these small moments along the way. The Potala Palace in Lhasa was probably the most impressive building I have ever seen in my life.

And a huge part of what made this journey so special was our guide: PANCHENJAP!

I really cannot praise PANCHENJAP enough.

He is simply a great guy. Knowledgeable, calm, funny, patient and incredibly reliable. But most importantly, he never made me feel like I was just another tourist being moved from one sightseeing point to the next.

I learned an incredible amount from PANCHENJAP – about Tibet, Buddhism, the monasteries, the people and their way of life. And not in the style of somebody reciting information from a guidebook. We talked, asked questions, discussed things and sometimes simply observed what was happening around us. That is exactly how I like to travel.

My journey ultimately turned out differently than planned. Due to circumstances along the way and my own decision, I did not continue to Kailash. And especially at that moment I saw once again what kind of person PANCHENJAP is. There was no pressure and no attempt to convince me otherwise. He understood my decision immediately and helped organize everything necessary for my return.

That meant a lot to me.

Of course, the organization of the whole trip was excellent as well. Our driver was great, the vehicle was comfortable, everything worked and even when plans had to change, solutions were found.

But if there is one person I especially want to thank, it is PANCHENJAP.

Thank you, my friend. I came to Tibet wanting to see extraordinary places. I left having learned and experienced much more than I expected.

And that is probably the best thing I can say about a journey.

If you travel to Tibet and get PANCHENJAP as your guide, consider yourself lucky. I certainly did.
