I’ve been a member of The Wine Society for 30 years and can advise any new members that their journey through the World of wine will be significantly enriched through their membership. I can think of very few occasions when a Wine Society purchase has failed to delight. My most recent purchase of South African whites was delivered quickly, in perfect condition, and free of charge as always. It’s a great service. I probably buy around 90% of my wine from the Society - a great deal of it through their En Primeur and First Release offers. I find this a fascinating way to buy wine, - and more recently I have been making use of the Members Reserves facility to have my wines maturing in perfect conditions until I’m ready to take delivery.
By now any reader will have gathered that I’m a big fan of The Wine Society - and anyone wondering whether they should take the plunge and join will be utterly convinced. You won’t be disappointed; - I promise!

An outstanding organisation with a remarkable collection of wines and spirits at affordable prices.

I often find the wine better than expected although occasionally a rather expensive bottle has disappointed. But infrequently so isquickly forgotten!

Now that they outsource deliveries I wait till they have a free slot for delivery by their own excellent men. The other men were abysmal.

When asking for advice I find them most helpful even to the point ofpassing me to someone more knowledgeable.

In short they are my favourite supplier although I do shop elsewhere following a tip from a friend. On occasion.

I welcome the regular special offers as well as the normal catalogue range. I do not need to shop anywhere else for good wines

Excellent service

Another great delivery from The Wine Society. The best value for money generally in the UK as it's a cooperative. A wide range of wines from sub-£6 bargains to classed growth claret and more. Always good quality. In this case the delivery was as requested, with the wine left in a safe spot.

The wines are splendid, the choice of using a delivery contractor was a mistake. the wines survived being dropped in the hall in a broken box delivered by a driver who didn't know if he was at the right address and spoke only limited English. I usually opt for the Society delivery and will always do that in future

It was a complicated order and WS staff were so calm and totally service orientated .

The order procees was easy and the wine arrived on time today.
I cannot comment on the wine as it only arrived 4 hours ago!

The Wine Society is brilliant. You can order a single bottle and get it delivered within a day or so. They have a huge range of wines, bought by real experts. You can have the highest confidence in them.

Excellent value wines at all price points. Excellent, unbiassed advice on website and over the phone. Reliable delivery service with dedicated Wine Society vans. My only complaint is that for a while the Wine Society own van delivery was not available and the replacement service from DHL was unreliable. Wine Society is a true cooperative. Profits re-invested for the benefit of members and not doled out to shareholders.

Having been a member of TWS for decades, I hope that speaks for itself! Easy to order, on PC, Tablet or phone. I enjoy the wine selection and supporting information. Delivery is FREE. My latest order was placed on a Thursday 18.30 and will be delivered to my door on the Saturday; that's less than 48 hours. Excellent range of wines at fair prices and a no quibble returns policy. I make use of En Premieur offers and enjoy my modest holding in TWS cellars. Overall an excellent service and NO COLD CALLS!

Efficient delivery service.

As usual, the ordering online was very easy, the delivery options first class and the delivery by DHL excellent - their driver even takes our wines to the cellar!
The wines themselves are excellent too.....!

Fantastic wine selection at really good prices. Well worth becoming a member for as you get deliveries when you need them, usually in a couple of days if needed and with no extortionate delivery charges. My go-to online vendor.

Quick and efficient delivery

Great range of wine. Plenty of deliveries to choose from. I changed the delivery date but was notified of the original delivery date. A quick phone call resoled it. Staff were friendly and helpful throughout.
