Used the clipper yesterday to travel from Westminster to Battersea Power Station. The process was stressful to say the least: got into a queue to go to Battersea, there was one person in front of us. As we got to the front of the queue, we were told that this was no longer a queue as the next boat was going to arrive soon (the boat we wanted to get onto), and that the line we were in was going to become an exit. We then had to go to the back of queue (labelled as going the other way) and missed our boat. We were then directed to tap in - and got shouted at for doing so by another member of staff as the boat wasn’t there! The staff were also being really rude to people wanting to check the duration of their tickets and which direction they wanted to travel.
A twenty minute wait later and we were asked to leave the waiting area into a different space.
For there we had to push through the crowd as they were embarking at the other side.
It was badly organised chaos! I was far from impressed and charged £15 for the privilege.

My three-week-old baby, toddler and I were unfortunately turned away. Despite being seen, the ramp was still raised. Staff on the pier said they couldnt believe their colleagues didn't let us on!
We then experienced a very long wait for the subsequent one, which was also delayed. The ride itself was quite expensive and, overall, rather disappointing.

Patricia, delivered an excellent service. Her patience and ready to assist, my situation was swiftly resolved. Tickets are now booked for my grandchildren and I. Thank you Patricia.

One star is even too much as we were never able to board as it was very full and were pushed aside by the crew so that others could jump the queue. There was an elderly couple that waited 1:30 hours. The staff couldn’t care less and kept shouting that is was full, which on itself was understandable. We waited more than 90 minutes and so our tickets were voided. We activated them as the first boat arrived. There was no refund. The system stinks. The staff was very rude and seemed to enjoy our hardship. In the end we left as the next boat was delayed more than half an hour!!!!! You ought to be ashamed of yourselves. It was a horrible experience.
Ps we appreciate the apology.

Twice within a two-week period, the Barking boat service at North Greenwich has been terminated. Today, we were informed that a boat directly behind was heading to Barking. The subsequent boat arrived but also terminated. This resulted in an additional hour of waiting for the next boat to Barking, during which there was no communication and no one available to address inquiries. The information provided by the mobile application was inconsistent with the notices on the pier board, and neither source was accurate. This represents a significant failure in operational management. During the hour I waited at North Greenwich, boats departed from the base across the river; at least one of these could have been routed to Barking and back. I hope compensation for late running will be forthcoming, as with all TFL services to which this is one.
As per your response: when the app says barking you expect it to go to Barking! 20 past the hour at Canary Wharf is usually the barking boat. Also happened the following Saturday.
Did the contact form same day as this review; still waiting on a response 12 days later.

We wanted to travel from the Tower of London to Battersea on Saturday 20th December. We have used Uber boats many times on London visits, but I would like to thank Aisha, who immediately spotted my husbands mobility issues, she also apologized for mentioning his mobility incase we were offended, which we were not, she was beyond helpful, friendly with the advice she gave us, also letting him through first. I will add it was a very quiet time, and during busy periods/days probably isnt as easy to take as much time with customers as Aisha did with us, but Im hoping that she can be thanked from us, we shall certainly look out for her in the future.

We were told the wait would be "up to 40 minutes" we were a group of 8 with four children who were really agitated and difficult to keep in line. We felt we were stuck on the busy que without chance to get out of it and nobody to issue a refund. We waited over an hour with unhelpful staff who had no information on boat times being told boats were cancelled last minute overheard one sultry staff member saying "thank goodness they weren't working over the holidays".
Wasting a whole 75 minutes standing in a busy line spoiled out afternoon visit to London.

Their customer service is fast and efficient! I accidentally placed an order for the wrong date, and the boarding time was less than an hour away. If I couldn’t change it immediately, I would have lost all the money for seven tickets. I was really stressed trying to contact them in urgency, but they responded incredibly quickly and changed the date within seconds. Everything was sorted, and they saved our trip.

Yet again boat cancelled and zero communication and information on the board. Poor communication and customer service as usual. Unreliable

Overall a nice experience and tickets are easy to grab whether from Uber app or tapping in/out. We had an issue with duplicate tickets but customer service team were more than happy to refund and evaluate the claim. Overall, 10/10.

I spoke with Patricia and she was absolutely great. Very helpful regarding times and ticket options but also very knowledgeable and patient in answering my questions about what to see along the way from a tourist perspective.

About time, weve lived by the river all of our lives and often pushed for better use regarding passenger transport. At last UBER are doing it. We bought hop on hop off tickets on a sunday from barking riverside, top service, couldn't fault it, will certainly be using it againa s will most of our family. NOTE; get busy with the Tilbury connection, I had to pay £27.50min in total congestion charges, there is only so long I would do that before resorting to the train again, also, there are thousands of commuters and lesiure travellers in Tilbury, Grays and Purfleet.
