Tesco Whoosh is completely Unreliable

Tesco Whoosh is completely Unreliable. I have made 2 Tesco Whoosh orders in the last weeks on behalf of my Mum. Neither delivery was attempted, on both occasions the delivery was simply marked as delivered. This is either very dishonest by Tesco who are marking orders as complete when they are not, and hoping the customers don't complain, or by the drivers who are not delivering orders and marking them as delivered, and doing goodness knows what with the food. I must give an extra star to Tesco as the customer services are very good and give swift refunds, however it is very frustrating none the less, and whoosh cannot be relied upon as the food will more likely than not not be delivered.

Don’t go with cash they don’t want you

Visit Tesco Brighouse two or three times per week and always find it a very stressful experience the self checkouts are limited opening and alternative especially paying with cash they make you wait as if your a second class citizen. I have found some of the checkout staff rude and you get to know what person you want to go to.

Online grocery shopping a joke

I pay monthly for Tesco home shopping delivery and have a delivery every week and do not usually have a problem but on Monday 22nd I ended up with 9 items missing all frozen I complained to customer services and they said there was no problem with the freezers at that store I was not happy as some items could have been substituted now today 27th I have had an order and 12 fridge items have been marked as unavailable I am fuming I have again called customer services and there is no report of their fridges down and is no actual reason they could not substitute grated cheese or ham it’s ridiculous I know we have had some hot weather but seriously this is no reason for such bad service I am now considering cancelling my plan and shopping elsewhere this is not good enough I do not have my shopping delivered to then have to go out shopping .

Just cancelled my delivery for tomorrow, but

Just cancelled my delivery for tomorrow due to the fridge/freezer problems and booked again for a day or so later. No big deal though, need to run my freezer down anyway. I have a disability and rely on my Tesco deliveries but the Fridge/Freezers wouldn't know that would they? and most probably couldn't care less anyway. Despite this I'll live. No big deal.

I usually avoid Tesco like the plague

I usually avoid Tesco like the plague - clothes are tacky and cheap and food salty and bland, just rubbish really, But being pressed for time, dashed into my local store today to buy jeans and a top. The jeans set the alarm off - nothing new, but couldn't see any tag - so security let me get them home before realising there's a bulky tag - so can't wear those tonight, The top was too small (XS)and on the wrong (M) hanger so both going back and will be spending a sweltering Saturday queuing with other irritated customers to get a refund. Yay. Security has never once stopped me on the rare occasion I buy something with tag still on, why bother?

Customer service is a let down

Customer service is a let down. You cannot contact them on line via their website and their whats app option is a waste of time as asked a lot of questions, some duplicated then eventually told I may have to wait 2 hours+ for a customer advisor to be available.

I used Tesco online to purchase a fan

I used Tesco online to purchase a fan. They used MH STAR UK LTD. I paid extra for next day delivery and never arrived even I received email from Tesco with tracking number and telling me will arrive next day 26th June by Amazon shipping. I spent 3.5 hours chasing Amazon then Tesco and then MH STAR LTD. after going to put review for MH STAR I found over 400 one star reviews about this company. If I known I would never ordered. However I trusted Tesco for being their customer gor over 40 years. They are the one who should know what type of company they are dealing with. I blame Tesco over this. Very very bad. I may think twice going to Tesco for my shopping.

Poor click and collect service- don’t bother

Current sitting in 28’c at Tesco Lottbridge Grove in Eastbourne. I have been here for 15 minutes and there are eight cars ahead of me also waiting to pick up. This is unacceptable. Had the same issue last week. I will not be using this service again.

Tesco Cheetham Hill store

It’s about Cheetham Hill store Manchester.
Just been in that store an hour ago ,There were no Air Con,it was boiling inside.
Staffs were working with little hand fan in their hand (They were still very polite ,working in this hot weather in store with no AC ) . Snack fridge wasnt working either !!!

I am so dissapointed with Tesco negletting their staff and customers with that hot place.
No health and safety in that store right now with boiling hot condition.
Could you please do something for that AC to keep cool inside the Cheetham hill store ?
I’ve also been to Tesco Gorton store last week ,it was nice and cool inside after the hot weather outside and enjoyed the shopping .

Kind Regards

I wish there were an option to give a…

I wish there were an option to give a negative rating.

The Tesco Express near Chelmsford Train Station has, without doubt, some of the worst customer service I have experienced. The overall store standards are very poor, and the staff attitude is extremely disappointing.

Fridge doors are frequently left open, which raises serious concerns about food safety and storage conditions. Because of this, expiry dates become meaningless if products are not being kept at the correct temperature.

In addition, staff regularly restock shelves while blocking the aisles, often standing around talking to each other or even sitting on the floor, making it difficult for customers to shop comfortably. The environment feels unprofessional and unwelcoming, almost as if customers are an inconvenience.

My final experience was at the self-service area when I asked for assistance. Instead of helping, a staff member simply told me to go and get another item from the shelf myself.

Based on the poor service, lack of professionalism, and concerns over food handling, I will not be shopping at Tesco again.

Tesco online "out of stock" today no…

Tesco online "out of stock" today no chicken either fresh or frozen available ! Nothing in store, I don't believe so - just not for me. The same was the case on Turkey & most eggs. This is true on so many products, if you don't have a car, can't lug heavy shopping you are penalised. Online is discriminatory and I won't be using again.

Air cooler

Yesterday Tesco were selling an EMtronics air cooler for £99.99. Due to the heatwave, I put one in my online basket, to have a think if I wanted to go ahead and purchase it. Today they sent me a reminder to complete the purchase. The item had gone up to £199.99. Absolutely outrageous?!😳

AVARICE AT IT'S FINEST...

Tesco, thank you so much for reminding me what “customer service” really means.

I’m currently staying with my 90-year-old mother while she recovers from a hip replacement, knee replacement, and a broken tibia — all while trying to cope with losing my father in April after 76 years together (nearly 72 married). She no longer drives, I don’t have access to a car, so online grocery shopping has been an absolute lifeline.

Naturally, I thought Tesco’s Delivery Saver would make life easier. Silly me. I paid for a six-month plan, with the understanding that if my basket fell below £50, I’d be hit with a £5 charge. Fair enough. Except this week, when I tried to place our order, Tesco had apparently decided meat was now an optional luxury. No chicken. No beef. No pork. No lamb. No frozen prawns. Basically, none of the staples we actually eat.

After calling customer service, I was told the store supplying our order has “fridge overheating problems” and they’re waiting for repairs. Now, call me old-fashioned, but I’d have thought a supermarket might consider reliable refrigeration fairly central to its business model.

Did Tesco waive the £5 minimum basket fee, given they physically couldn’t supply basic essentials? Of course not. That would require common sense.
Instead, I’ve had to ask my husband to do the shopping and drive an hour each way to bring it here.

But it’s fine. Tesco only made £3.15 billion profit in 2025/26, so clearly there wasn’t enough spare change lying around to upgrade the fridges before summer arrived. Priorities, after all. Thank goodness the shareholders are looked after — £12.10 per share in 2024, £13.70 in 2025, and £14.50 in 2026. That’s the important thing .I feel so much better knowing that the £5.00 minimum basket charge is helping keep the rich in luxury foods while pensioners are making one tea bag last four cups of tea.
