AVOID 100%

I have rented cars all over the world but this company is by far my worst experience.They force you to pay the 100€ deposit (which they keep for 6 weeks after contract termination even if you use their platform for 1 minute!) otherwise you simply cannot proceed and have a look at your booking options.Also they charge an additional one time fee regardless of the month plan you choose.On top of that the dont explain that the charge the monthly fee from the 1st day of every month.So i am in dispute right now because i was charged for 2 months even though i book a car for the last 2 days of November and the first 2 days of December!Unbelievable!I dont know what else to expect when they send me the charges for the days and the kilometres!They will try to rip me off!Lastly,i had no instructions how to unlock the car (and also lock it when i ended the reservation) when i reached its spot and i had to end my phone number money credit to call them from a foreign country!Who is going to compensate me for this expense?Also they reply to emails after 3 days.I asked them what are their regulations about parking because i thought that i would be able to use their parking spaces in other German cities.We booked the car from Stuttgart and i parked in an orange spot in Wurzburg.In the evening i received a phone call from the company and they told me to move the car because another car from another company (Scooter) was waiting to park.The assistant told me that each city has dedicated cars and parking spots for their city only.HOW THE HELL SHOULD I KNOW?I had sent them an email the day before,then this incident happened and they replied to my email after 3 days!All in all they are not a serious company in any level.Not good prices at all,not clear rules and conditions and not good customer support.AVOID AT ALL COSTS

Unclear sign-up process and unsatisfactory customer service

My experience with TeilAuto has been very disappointing. The sign-up process is misleading — accepting the terms and conditions automatically includes agreement to a newly introduced sign-up fee, without allowing you to proceed otherwise. Once this is done, opting out is not straightforward.

I attempted to cancel my account immediately after realizing this, but the process is unnecessarily restrictive. It is not possible to cancel right away; the company only allows cancellation after three months, and they retain the €100 deposit for an additional six weeks after contract termination. Communication is also extremely limited — there is no phone number available, no live chat, and it is not possible to reach management or request exceptions, even for unused accounts and immediate cancellations.

Overall, this experience has reflected very poorly on TeilAuto. The lack of transparency, limited customer support, and rigid refund policy suggest a need for significant improvement in customer service and communication.
