A compassionate funeral at a very fitting venue
This review in context:
Occasion: small, family pre-cremation committal service attended by a dozen mourners for my elderly mother who passed away whilst a resident in a local Care Home.
Venue: Harbour View Lodge Ceremony Hall, Harbour View Crematorium
Our engagement with Woods & Tapper’:
From initial contact in anticipation of an inevitable passing once “end of life medication” had been prescribed and through that passing to the planning and delivery of the funeral.
My experience:
“For me Woods & Tapper Funeral Service (Dorchester) were commendable throughout: from initial contact with Pauline Guy followed by discreet prompt liaison with the Care Home when the time came, supportive guidance navigating the current certification process trail with information supplementing the excellent Dorset Registrar’s website information through to initiating the funeral planning itself.
Working with Becci Wiles of Woods’ and celebrant Glyn Bawden really was a comforting pleasure for me throughout both the planning and delivery of the service during a time of grief onset. A process in which they took my draft input, suggestions and expressed family wishes fully into account through their respective steady, measured, input and support all given with obvious compassion. All of this added up to making the service so right at a very fitting venue”
