Support flat out ignores you

Read this and tell me if I'm over reacting. I cannot believe how bad their customer support has been. It's impossible to get any help. If I had problems with them taking money I'd be insanely mad, all this has been just trying to create an account. They just ignore you and there's nothing you can do.

My experience has been similar to many others on here... My employer told me they work with this company. I tried making my account, each time I tried I got an error message telling me to contact support. Trying to get through the AI assistant is infuriating. As others have stated, it is useless. You get stuck in loops and it forgets almost immediately what you are talking about. So I have to look up the customer support phone number which is nowhere on their website by the way, my employer helped me find it. I call customer support, I was on hold for over half an hour before the call just "disconnected".
Meanwhile, after many attempts I finally get past the AI to talk to an agent via chat window. To get thru the chat AI bot I had to basically beg it and make up a different problem, or else it will ask why you want to talk to an agent, it gives you 5 options to chose from, you pick the account creation option, it goes right back to trying to troubleshoot. Guys, it is really insanely bad.

The agent I talk to was not clear at all, these are not native English speakers and communication was rough
He doesn't tell me what's wrong, he just deletes the account I've tried making so I can try again, I go through the setup process AGAIN. This time it gets stuck at the identity verification. It asks for a photo of my ID in the app. I snap photos of my ID, after not even one second the app says they cannot verify my identity and there's an error. I try to back out and start over, and guess what, now it says my account is closed and I need to contact support. Hahaha. At this point the agent had left the chat and I was just talking to myself with no response.

I get an email from tapcheck asking me to verify my ID by uploading photos of my ID (again), this time via a link they sent me. So I try again. At this point it's getting suspicious why they need so many photos of my ID. This was on Thursday of last week it's now Wednesday evening. It's almost been a week.

Now whenever I try to contact their support thru the chat bot it says "You already have a ticket open you must wait for a response".
I've emailed support and never get a response.
The only email I ever got besides the one asking me for more pictures of my ID said they answer tickets in the order they receive them, that my ticket has been sent to a "specialist" and I should hear back in a few hours. It's been days. I literally cannot get in touch with an agent at this point. Nobody answers the phone, the AI bot locks me out, and emails go unanswered. My "ticket" with a "specialist" has been ignored.

The support phone number literally hangs up on you after 30 minutes - 40 minutes. It's happened to me twice now.

This is absolutely insane. I can't believe how bad this is.

They are just completely ignoring me and I've been completely unable to simply make an account.

I honestly do NOT recommend Tapcheck…

I honestly do NOT recommend Tapcheck Pay Access. I’ve had ongoing issues with them taking more money out of my account than they’re supposed to, and it’s been extremely frustrating. I’ve reached out to customer service multiple times, and not only do they take forever to respond, but when they finally do, they don’t actually fix the problem.

The worst part is that even after contacting them, the same issue keeps happening. It feels like they’re not taking accountability, and it’s stressful having to constantly check your account for incorrect charges.

If you’re thinking about using this service, just be careful. My experience has been nothing but inconvenient and disappointing.
IF I CAN GIVE THEM ZERO STARS I WOULD. CUSTOMER SERVICE SUCKS

They are the worst company. They been working on a problem for 4 months. Saying I havec2 profiles my employer fixed it. But these stupid people can't fix nothing. I getcgetcthecsame response I've escalated it to the top. Stay away from them

This company needs to have better…

This company needs to have better communications and help people when they need help and that's crazy I have used them for almost 1 year and now it will not transfer funds to my personal account or anything and can't no answers to why this is happening because Tappy chat do t help at all.

March 25th 2026: they are routinely down multiple times a week with NO communication from them about it upfront, then when asked replies DAYS later, blaming our side like we haven’t contacted everyone involved.

Constant lies whenever they do actually respond.

If you or anyone you know has issues with this app, report them to the better business bureau, I’ve used this app for two years now and it only makes life harder, not easier.

You can’t PROMISE us our money, set us up to expect it, use it and depend on it, then when you’re having outages, not even communicate with your clients who are the only reason your business is still running.

Get rid of the AI chat support, and actually do your jobs before someone files a class action about this bs.
