My watch from Stuhrling has a beautiful…

My watch from Stuhrling has a beautiful design but not good quality for the money you pay, it constantly loses time and only once did I put it in the shower and enough moisture got inside, resulting in it being dull and not working even though the specs said it was water resistant 5atm. I don't trust this company anymore.

Poor customer relations

After placing my order I realized I had made a mistake with 1 of the watches and sent an email to stuhrling to cancel my order within a couple of hours. I then sent another the following day. The day after that I received an automatically sent message saying my watches were ready for despatch. I then sent a 3rd message telling them not to send and cancel my order.
The day after I received a message saying the watches had been sent.
I received an email later that day saying they had received my message are sorry but the watch had already been sent.
Such a shame, great watches but reaction to a customers message so poor. I won't be buying again

I have bought a Stuhrling watching was…

I have bought a Stuhrling watching was delivered on time. Had it for 5 months and seconds hand come loose not working. Contacted company and went through the procedures to send it back for a price of 30 dollars. Decided to look at reviews and Decided to take it to my local jewellers. As he explained if its a mechanical problem l would lose my warranty if l had to get it fixed. Check it out and it was a gasgit and reconnect seconds hand. Sorted £32. No mental torcher.

Not a great experience

Had an awful experience. I sent a faulty watch back. The confirmed receipt. Told me an exchange was with a delivery partner and they would be in contact re delivery. I waited over 2 weeks before they then queried the receipt of the watch.

I sent them proof that royal mail had collected.

They accepted proof but still waiting for exchange or refund. The returns keep replying saying it's with another department, it's been six weeks since I sent the item back so I don't know what the hold up is.

The quality of the watch and the customer service is shocking. I wouldn't recommend this company.

Since my review I can confirm that my concerns were escalated and a refund is on its way (haven't received it just yet).

I bought a Stührling watch as a gift for myself

I bought a Stührling watch as a Christmas gift for myself andI had a great experience. The watch arrived on time during the holiday rush, which I was a little worried about, but everything came exactly as expected.
The watch itself looks even better in person. The blue dial with the chronograph details really stands out, and the stainless steel bracelet gives it a solid, high-quality feel on the wrist.

DO NOT PURCHASE ANYTHING FROM DEBENHAMS!!!

Utterly awful experience trying to get a watch I returned back from repair. I was advised to return a watch I had purchased in August, which was faulty after a few weeks. I returned the watch and 5 months later I still have no watch or refund. I have been chasing Debenhams for months, only to be told, they have no legal responsibility to do anything about the missing watch, even though I have provided proof of return. They advised that Stuhrling watches are a seller on their site and if I am getting no response from them, it is not Debenhams responsibility to resolve the issue! Essentially, if you buy anything from Debenhams that comes from a seller, Debenhams have no duty of professional diligence, to resolve disputes or issues. I have received the same response over and over again from their customer service team “please wait 2 or 4 days for a response from Stuhrling”. Each time I wait, I then have to chase Debenhams again for a reply and the same response is given again… please wait 2 days! This 2 days is now months and months long! DO NOT PURCHASE FROM THIS COMPANY! I have never experienced such poor customer service from any company. They are essentially allowing their sellers to steal from customers and doing nothing about it whatsoever. If you want to keep your sanity, and your money, do not purchase from this company.

Excellent quality and smooth experience

I had a great experience with Stührling Original. The watch arrived quickly, was well packaged, and looks even better in person than online. The build quality feels solid, the design is elegant, and it performs exactly as described. Customer service was responsive and helpful when I had a question, which made the overall experience even better. I’d definitely recommend them if you’re looking for a well-made watch at a fair price.

I'd give 0 stars i I could
Bought one of these watches via Debenhams at a massive discount, last May, early Christmas present, open at Christmas, stupid thing won't work longer than 24 hours.
Debenhams are not interested, stuhrling won't reply.
What a waste of money!
EDIT: I contacted Sturling to get this watch fixed or replaced as Debenhams would not entertain me.
Sturling have a 2 year warranty on the watch and 1 year on the battery, but you have to pay $30 to have the watch returned!!!!!!!!!!!!
I emailed Sturling to ask them to help, a month now and still waiting for a reply, but they don't seem to like my review as they have written asking for more information to verify that mine is a genuine purchase, sadly it is, though I wish I had not!!!

Your order was placed through Debenhams, and the issue was raised with us via their escalation team some time after purchase. In these cases, our manufacturer’s warranty applies, and we advised that the watch can be returned for inspection and repair under warranty.

I have had my watch now for exactly a…

I have had my watch now for exactly a year, bought from the Debenhams website. Initially I was concerned after seeing all the negative reviews about the Watches and Debenhams.
The watch has exceeded expectations. It is an extremely handsome timepiece that as others have commented, catches the attention of others. Keeps time perfectly. All the casings are as they were on day one and I wear it everyday.
I wanted to truly test this watch, hence the time period from purchase to review. I would definitely purchase another.

The watches are value at there sale prices

I saw an advert for unbelievable price reductions on Stuhrling watches at Debenhams last December. Decided to buy one but after ordering saw some scathing reviews online. Apart from the order being delayed for some reason and taking several weeks to arrive I am very happy with the watch, looks good, working fine and is standing up to being worn day in day out. The watch is not worth anywhere near its recommended retail price so give that a good ignoring but the bizarre Debenhams sale pricing brings the cost to an acceptable amount.

Waterproof Watches may not be waterproof

I bought two nice watches that were supposed to be water proof. I went to A pool in two occasions, each with a different watch. The watches are not waterproof. Humidity got inside them and I can barely see the time now.

We’d like to clarify that for our water-resistant watches, it’s very important that the crown (the knob used to set the time) is fully pushed in and securely screwed down before any contact with water. If the crown is not completely sealed, moisture can enter the case, even during light water exposure such as swimming or being near a pool.

Bought three watches, none work

Bought three watches. Months later, none work anymore, and Sterling has discontinued the watches, so they can't help me. Wouldn't recommend buying, there are too many good places to buy watches to deal with people that don't care about their customers.

1. Automatic watch stopped working after months of use.
2. Other watch, the second arm jumped off after a few months.
3. Third watch the watch showed up with the "g" in the sterling logo loose inside the watch head.

Cheap Chinese watch being mis-sold

Almost bought one "on sale" but discovered it's just a budget Chinese-made watch being marketed with a massive RRP to allow dodgy sellers (like Debenhams!) to claim to be selling them with a huge 80%-90% discount. It's little more than a scam to target the gullible. Avoid.

Avoid this brand like the plague!

I bought what was advertised as a top of the range watch for my husband’s 70th birthday and the whole experience has been abysmal
The watch claimed to have been originally £3,000 and was reduced to £250.00 and was a diver’s watch.
My husband’s birthday was in May and he certainly didn’t wear it every day, may be 10 times in total before the winder dropped off. Without this vital part the watch was useless and there was no way of fixing it back on.
I contacted Debenham’s and after a week was told to send it back to Stuhrling. I was asked if I would prefer a refund or a replacement and I opted for a refund.
It is almost three weeks since the tracking showed the watch arrived at Stuhrling and had I not sent endless emails would have been told nothing. What I have had communicated to me is it is being repaired and this could take up to 4 weeks.So at this moment in time I have no correspondence whatsoever from Stuhrling and have paid £250.00 for nothing. I have no money nor any product.
Had I been more diligent and looked at the reviews I wouldn’t have touched this company with a barge pole.
