I made the stupid mistake ....

I made the stupid mistake of not checking the reviews before I bought a Cecotec product. I bought a wine fridge from Amazon for my new house but unfortunately the delivery had to go unchecked as it went straight into storage for 2 months.

When I opened the package, the glass door was smashed which could have been a delivery issue, but not something I could prove so I approached Cecotec to just purchase a replacement door and happy to pay for it ... which you would think would be very easy.

They suggested I went through Amazon which is quite a task in itself, but I would assume that dealing direct with the manufacturer with my willingness to pay for the issue would have been much quicker.

This was 2 months ago. The stipulation on the replacement door was that I had to pay CASH to the driver, which I find very odd but I agreed.

So, to date I have nothing other than meaningless emails - which of course takes them a week to respond to.

Since then, just excuses and fob offs. The support team should rebrand as 'do not care about clients department'.

Today I decided to buy a replacement from a more trustworthy manufacturer so I am 550 euro out of pocket and the cooler has to go to recycling.

Absolutely shocking customer support - and please do not respond with one of your empty 'hey we will contact you sort this' responses.

I bought a Conga last year and just…

I bought a Conga last year and just after the year of use the vacuum stopped working. I sent it to be repaired and despite It being in guarantee they want to charge me for the reparation which I think is unfair and a way of taking money from the client. I have tried contacting customer service and they said that it wasn't right but they still aren't able to find a solution. Customer service is poor and the way they only contact via email is cold and impractical. I'm very unhappy with their product and service. As I can’t respond to them I will respond here. They didn’t tell me the issue with my product but they are explaining it here and hence my discontent with product and service. If no one can respond to the client it shows poor customer care. I phoned and have written to find out the issue and no one was able to help but here they have explained the issue. Makes no sense.

La falta de mantenimiento o el mal uso no está cubierta por la garantía legal del producto, por lo que el presupuesto ha sido enviado correctamente.

Damaged item. Complaints process doesn't work

I just received a package from them and opened it (very carefully). I noticed that there was a scratch on the top of the microwave. I then checked the box and saw a deep scratch all the way along the top, where someone has opened it with a knife. So someone has opened this package, damaged the product, and I presume that Cecotec have just repackaged it and sent it on to me...

Also, I cannot complain about this to anyone because if I receive an error message when I try to log the incident on the Cecotec account.

Edit: Changing to 4 stars as Cecotec sent a replacement product. Although communication is very poor

Pain to get refund, worst customer service

Pain to get refund from them. The Website is in German language but all items are shipped from Spain. and ofcourse if you dont like anything then return destination is Spain and customer has to pay 10 euro shipment charges. becareful if you are buying from Germany. Also, received refund after 1 month. Customer service is worst.

Wrong item sent in Spain

Wrong item sent in Spain. The company has now taken 6 weeks in dealing with this (they have responded to only around a quarter of the twenty or so emails I've sent). The last I heard was from Germany, that the scooter can't be collected from the address that it was delivered to.

I ordered three ceiling fans and got…

I ordered three ceiling fans and got them installed by a qualified electrician. One of them, the cover over the bulb did not fit properly but the electrician used some silicon and it seems fine. However, one of the other ones, it was installed for no more than 24 hours, when the bulb cover fell off and is smashed. I have tried contacting Cecotec through their website but have had no response. All I want to do is to see if I can replace the bulb cover. The customer service and after sales is non existent. This is my original post in july. They have asked for more and more information but nothing gets resolved. Then they ask for more information and I send it but hear nothing. Then I look again and they have asked me to send the information to a 'No reply' email. All I want is to order a new tulip. Why is this so difficult. A really awful company. I will never, ever buy anything from them again.
Update on this; Cecotec have just contacted me but after all this time, they want me to start the whole process again, filling in a form that I originally filled in in July. So not only are they always asking for more information, now they are asking me to repeat the information. This is unbelievable.
Update on this: Got an email from Cecotec saying that the spart part will cost me 12.90 plus, I suppose, delivery charges. So after four months of trying to resolve this, I have to pay for their defective product. It seems I have no choice.
Update on this today 31 Oct. I responded to their email agreeing to the costs even though I think it is outrageous. If it is the only way to resolve this, then let's get it done as I don't want to deal with these people any more. Since then, silence. Silence, silence, silence. Seriously, do not buy anything from these people. EVER.

Another update - nearly FOUR months later, still nothing. Nothing. This company is the pits. Do not use them.

Another Update. After weeks of chasing, I am told now that the piece is out of stock. Having being told it is in process, it is on it's way, now, apparently, it is out of stock. So I will chase again in a few weeks because we all know that Cecotec will never contact me about this. I am sure that the next thing will be that they do not make the tulips separately. Liars, liars and more lies.

Another update. After my last post above, I got a message from Cecotec via Facebook saying that my case would be reviewed 'urgently'. That was on Feb 10. And guess what, since then, nothing. Zilch. Nada. Not a word. So, over six months later, I still have a fan with no light. This is disgraceful.

Fraud, They don’t give Refund. They eat peoples money.

I bought a heater through their website.The quality was very bad. Scratched, there was no hole to setup it. Then i returned the product. They received the product back, i got email. But its been 1 month they didn’t give my money back, they took my 100 euros, i emailed them 4 times, tried to contact but no response. Fraud, don’t buy from them. Very bad customer service & also their website

Don't buy it. You will not get the detail replacement

I requested a tube replacement (process 03493095 ) three months ago. After a month, they gave me a process number and assured me it would take 30-45 days. After over two months and dozens of messages, they finally responded, saying they had two addresses but were ready to send it. I provided the correct address, and two days later, I received an email informing me that the tube is out of stock. So here we are, three months later, with zero progress.

Broken after 2months of use...

After 2 months of buying the coffee machine it have stopped working properly. After struggling to fullfil the repair order as Cecocare page is not working at all, they've picked the machine with 45 days ETA for repairment, almost the same time I've got the product with me...
No replacement, no temporal substitution and no information on the process status, as Cecocare is not working...
Just lame..

I bought a DrumFit Indoor 10000 Race Compact indoor spinning bike recently. There were some problems with it so i contacted support. In few days the problem was solved and they send me a new bike. I returned the first with same courier.

I bought a Robot Vacuum cleaner from CECOTEC. It made a very good impression and the price was right.
Unfortunately, the mops stop turning after 3 months of use. I tried contacting their customer service and that is when the joke starts. They simply do not want to be contacted. I live in Germany, I bought the product on their German shop. When I click on contact/costumer service, I get redirected to a site entirely in Spanish, not even in English, that would be entirely fine. They could simply use any free tool to make translation of their site, however they choose not to translate at all. If a company wants to sell outside Spain, then it needs to offer service in other languages. To me a clear sign that they do not want to be contacted at all. I did however contacted them, navigated my way around the Spanish website and left a message. That is where it ends with CECOTEC. I never got a reply, no one ever tried to solve my problem. Customers are a burden to them. Give us the money, but leave us alone. My product in under warranty, but they will simply wait until either the warranty ends or I run out of patience. This is only the main problem I have with them. I am leaving out a very long list of things that are wrong with the product itself. Do yourself a favour and avoid CECOTEC. I hope I could help someone and making them chose a different company. Best

Terrible, disgraceful, thieves

Terrible, I returned an air cooler ,3500 model in peak summer it failed to function. Following two weeks of calls daily to have them collect the useless item they did and I am now almost a month without a refund still. What is the issue??? I call daily , they make excuses, refuse to pass me to an advisor nor provide me with their name or reference. They then tell me the refund was done but I have bank statements that prove otherwise. I requested a copy of the refund and two weeks later I'm still waiting ...appalling service . Liars. No more than stealing it amounts to. Disgraceful

So disappointed

So disappointed. We ordered a fan on July 31st and paid for 3 day delivery. The fan has still not been delivered (14th Sept now). We have called multiple times to be told it is out for delivery so there is nothing they can do. We asked for a refund and were told to wait for the delivery and send it back but it’s never delivered and they offer no solution at all. We have bought a lot from cecotec before but never again it’s a big disappointment.

NEVER AGAIN A CECOTEC

After the wrong response from Cecotec, in which they say that we have not sent the serial number, I can confirm that it was sent numerous times, along with videos, invoice, etc... They are evading their responsibility and are not telling the truth. They should be ashamed to treat customers like this. Do you want to know what they say to me again? that they have cancelled the incident again and that I need to send them the documentation again. They want to laugh at my mother but they won't succeed. I'll put it in the hands of my lawyer. I recommend that you DO NOT BUY ANY PRODUCTS FROM THIS COMPANY, they are terrible when it comes to covering their guarantees and their customer service department is real NIGHTMARE.

My mother bought a Cecotec Model BigToast Double 03084 toaster through Amazon. After a year the toaster does not toast on both sides, and it is still under warranty. My mother contacted Cecotec customer service to explain the problem and request that they provide a solution. They began to ask my mother to go to their website and post the entire incident, adding photos, videos, invoice, everything and more. She did it with incidence no. 03451947 and no one got in touch to indicate how the matter was going but they did send numerous emails requesting the same information over and over again. We did send all the information required four times already.
On August 12, we called for the fifth time, and they told us that they were going to send us a new one and that we would receive details of the shipment by email once it was prepared and that it would be in approximately a week. Our surprise when after a few days we received an email saying that we should send more information again, so we called, and they told us again with great arrogance that if we do not send what they say they will not pay attention and that they will hang up on us. A new incident n.03487170 has been opened again
We had bought some Cecotec vacuum cleaners and for that reason we recommended my mother buy the toaster. What a big disappointment with this brand and what it represents. Their customer service is horrible and their processes even worse. You can't treat people like that when they guarantee two years on their products and the product is under warranty.
Do not buy any product from this company, you end up wasting time, money and patience.

Never again Cecotec

I bought a mobile airco: 3500 cool compact smart. The machine started leaking water after a few weeks, which can be rather dangerous as it is plugged in the wall socket and I stepped in a pool of water several times. When trying to contact their customer service on the website you end up in a chatbox where several people are talking about their products at the same time. Obviously not build to genuinely assist you. The Whatsapp CS is not much better. In the end it was impossible to get a normal reaction about this issue. Maybe there was a simple fix needed from my side but without any serious help I will just throw it away at the trash.

So unhelpful both Habitium and Ceotech

I have previously reviewed Ceotec.it was disgraceful how this issue was dealt with. Ceotec insisted on videos of a fault which was impossible to do.Habitium would not give me the number of the technical support team. Ceotec would not ring me despite giving my number to assist on how to uninstall this item. I ended up having to uninstall it myself with difficulty. It was the fuse was the problem
When I asked Habitium for a particial refund th e point blanked refused. I do not speak Spanish. I was left with no microwave apparently because Habitium constantly contacted Ceotech technical support and some help desk. How this was handled by Habitium and ceotec is a disgrace why did Ceotech continusely ask for videos of a fault when the fault was unknown

SCAM

Bought an espresso machine through CDON but they haven't sent it and it was over 10 days ago. Luckily I bought it with buyers protection so I can get my money back. SCAM COMPANY, beware!

Order a product

The product never arrived. The CUSTOMER CARE IS TERRIBLE, I sent multiple e-mails and phone calls, but they never reimbursed me. Over a month passed.

DO. NOT. BUY. They will SCAM you.
