Cecotec Conga, like a four year old with a straw.

I brought a Cecotec Conga probably around a year ago. Loads of great advice when buying it. Except Don’t.
After a couple of weeks the charger wouldn’t work. Eventually got a second charger from the store, after creating a war.
To be honest I’ve hardly used it since. I thought I would try again this week. Guess what, it’s still rubbish.
Ok, not the most expensive on the market, but is it to much to just ask for it to do what it says on the tin.
Takes forever to charge to 100%, it doesn’t pick up dog hair, even with its anti tangle roller. It’s anti tangle because it won’t pick anything up that is likely to get tangled.
I tried to vacuum my mattress today and it overheated and cut out before I’d gone over the mattress. If it doesn’t overheat before you’ve finished, it will just stop and need recharging 🤦‍♂️ It has the suction power of a four year old with a straw.
Would I recommend it?…..Only if you don’t have a four year old with a straw handy.

Non-existent customer support; avoid at all costs

I bought a Cecotec Magno 8000 bike, and right from the start it made a lot of noise during use. I opened a support case on April 9th. Since then, I've only received generic responses — no real help, no actual solution.

Yesterday, I finally discovered the real issue: a critical metal part is cracked at the joint between the pivot and the foothold. This isn't a small cosmetic problem — it's a structural failure. You can even move the part by hand.

Since April 9th, no technician has contacted me directly. Just empty automated messages and redirects to their customer portal — where you can't even manage your case once it’s open. You just end up stuck.

This is both a quality control failure and a customer service failure. Extremely disappointing experience.

Horrible customer service and product, vol.2

Here we are again, because it seems like there is no other way to get their attention.

A full two weeks after my first complaint about a horribly noisy (again, newly bought) elliptical machine, nobody has contacted me for a fix. I tried their complaint form, tried their whatsapp, got hit twice with the 'someone will contact you to arrange an appointment with a technician' and have been waiting ever since, meanwhile there's a useless elliptical taking up space in my apartment.

I don't know what's worse about this company, the nonexistent customer service after purchase, or the ridiculous poduct itself.

I bought a coffee machine and after 2…

I bought a coffee machine and after 2 months it doesn’t make coffee any more because the water leaks inside okk it can happen.
But i send it for repair and they did nothing they just changed the package and said its ready they have left milk in the milk tank and now its all green 🦠 and smells like sh** and they didn’t fix the water now i will send it again for repair if they fix it i maybe live an other better review Cecotec case number: 03784495

Cecotec Conga 8490 Pet - Replacement issues

Edit: they emailed me, asking me to wait. They still didn’t offer any solution to my problem. I’ve checked, and the first time i emailed them about these replacement parts, it was January 07, a month and a half ago, and still no solution. A simple solution, such as sending me the brush and battery and charging me for it. I’m not asking for favours or anything for free, I want to buy the bloody thing so the product I paid 200€ for can properly work.

I don’t want any more contact from this brand. I’m getting rid of their product and never buying from them again. Not worth the headache.

I own a robot Cecotec Conga 8490 Pet. The software isn't great, it has several issues, but mainly, I'm having issues with Cecotec.

I'm trying to buy a replacement brush and battery. First, you can't find it online, you need to email the brand. Once you do, they say they'll send it to your home and the deliveryman will charge you. I've been waiting for over a month... Meanwhile, I can't use my robot. This is just ridiculous, I have no time for this. I don't plan on using or buying from this brand again.

Horrible after-sales service

Avoid buying anything. I purchased three different products—cheaper than other options but with much better features—and all of them failed. The after-sales service was terrible, with warranty issues and constant failures. Stay away from Cecotec products.

This company has the worst customer…

This company has the worst customer support I have ever encountered. I bought a product seven months ago, and the light broke. They claimed it was out of warranty because it's a 'consumable.' In the support thread, they kept repeating the same response and told me I had to pay if I wanted a replacement. Extremely disappointing service!
Now they just laid to respond me, i´m waitng from more than 8 days.
My case is 03734777.

Terrible service

We order on 28.12.24 a washing machine. Delivery was between 01.01.25 till 03.01.25. Today we have 28.01.25 and still haven’t received nothing. To find someone on the phone it’s impossible and on WhatsApp robot you wait for hours. Terrible service and if you have someone on the line you hear always the same story „we make a notice for the delivery company “ 🤯🤯🤯 we stay 4 weeks without washing machine and cancel the order it’s not possible. Never ever again. For this you pay money and you don’t have clothes to go to work. 😡 shame on you cecotec.

This is a follow up from our last…

This is a follow up from our last review from December 30. In the meantime we made some progress.Cecotec contacted us and we had the machine picked up Wednesday the 22. January. They notify us that they received it and are going to fix it. So that’s good news. I will let you know when I got it back.

products are nice but …

products are nice but the service is terrible! waited for a simple fridge for 2 weeks and the online tracking is always changing! after calling them multiple times and hearing YES ITS GONNA BE DELIVERED TODAY nothing happened again. Next day they say WE DONT KNOW WHAT HAPPENED YESTERDAY BUT TODAY IT WILL NOT BE AT YOUR PLACE.

Then we ordered mattrasses and from 2 of them they just send 1 wrong size ON PURPOSE. After getting in contact with them they say: WE DONT HAVE THE WRIGHT SIZE ANYMORE THATS WHY WE SEND THE OTHER ONE. So I needed to send it back again. just baaaaaah

Customer Service non existent

Unfortunately I can't recomend this company at all. I ordered a washing machine on the 10th of December, estimated arrival date was 23rd December and one day before I got notified that it was delayed to the 7th January. I waited and the status was not being updated, it was impossible to contact anyone from customer service (I called many times) and finally on the 7th Jan it never arrived, so I cancelled the order. It's a very unreliable company.

No customer service

I bought 2 items from online store and returned onw of the item (boiler). After passing 5 months they haven't refunded my money!! No customer service. A big scam

Very impressed with Cecotec

Very impressed with Cecotec. Ordered a heater and received it promptly. Would not hesitate to recommend this company. Delivery was with Envalia and again very impressed. The delivery driver was very polite.

MRW in Spain...still waiting

Ordered a blanket online 2 weeks ago...still awaiting delivery from MRW, they keep texting me claiming my address in not correct (not true)
Cecotec have said they are contacting MRW but still the delivery hasnt arrived. Have asked for a refund but told to turn the delivery away. But obviously im not getting a delivery!
Shocking service from them and their chosen delivery company (who you cant speak to)
Below they ask me to email, which I have...with no reply. Still havent got the package or a refund (30/12)
Update - they have asked MRW to send the package back and will refund me. This package has been sat there for nearly 2 weeks with no attempt at a delivery. CECOTEC you need to use a reliable delivery company, one that allows tracking online and that you are able to speak with. I live in mainland Spain so this should have been very straight forward.

Delivery company is terrible

We ordered a freezer on 26/11/24. It has been with MRW for delivery since 29/11/24. As of today 13/12/24 still no delivery phone MRW get told out for delivery and it never arrives. Messaged Cecotec for a refund get told we have to refuse the delivery for it to be returned and then get a refund, how can we do that if they don’t deliver.

And they don't know when I will receive it.

Listen to those that have given one star

Bought a mop and vac robot a year ago... now the one of the base charging post springs has gone bad so unit can't base... I've tried 3 times to contact support for only to spend 45 minute describing the problem, giving my address, them saying they will follow up, then nothing... now when I open a case they don't even respond... maybe they're out of business.

BUY YOUR UNIT FROM SOMEONE REPUTABLE!!! Sorry but now I've learned why you should go with big brands from big box stores.
