We visited the Southport store hoping to find a couple of reclining chairs, we were fortunate to meet one of the sales team, Graham Bedworth. Graham knows his stuff regarding chairs and had a lot of very useful information. He gave us time to think and consider the various models and their prices. It was a pleasant experience, and although we left the store much lighter in the pocket we are very happy with our purchases and would shop at Stockers again.

I visited Stokers at Chester looking for a new sofa. This was a big purchase for me so wanted to take my time to browse before looking for help.
All too often, I find that sales people come over far too quickly and are so pushy that they drive me from the store! Happily, this didn't happen at Stokers. The salesman, Mike, popped over to introduce himself and then left me to browse, and was incredibly patient and knowledgeable in answering all my subsequent questions.
I didn't feel the quality or service was likely to be surpassed anywhere else and decided to order my new sofe there and then.
Thankyou to Mike and to Stokers for an excellent shopping experience!

All the staff were attentive but not pushy and we were directed to Graham Bedwith in the bedding department. He was knowledgeable and polite and the deal for a new mattress was easy.

Relaxed atmosphere. Help when needed without undue pressure.

Mr Turner terrible quality and cover with bad cover ups
I bought my suite that i paid a lot of money for had faults that were of not my reason.
I have spent thousands on different items and told family and friends I wish I never. I bought cover from mr turner in ormskirk and furniture in southport .big mistake your not covered if you buy a certain top quality leather that fades or has faults and there staff made out it was us which we proved wasnt.
Faded in parts and button of. We were blamed by people saying we caused it until mr Turner came out and agreed we had looked after the suite but we paid money for 5 year insurance and WE WERE NOT COVERED BECAUSE IT WASMT AN ACCIDENT.
avoid this shop once they get your money they dont care why get cover if your not covered and we got terrible replies of which we have proof off.
Avoid this store. Lovely kind and helpfull untill they have a manfactrers fault. Im taking legal action and public action after my emails ignored by the directors.

You can get all there furniture elsewhere with better service
But THIS IS ALL THE STOKERS RUN BY THE SAME PEOPLE.
They said if we accidently spill something on it its covered but if its a manufacturing fault were not ???

We went to Stokers as our first ‘port of call’ in our research into sofa-bed options having had excellent service from them on other significant furniture purchases.
Peter Thackeay was promptly attentive to our expressed needs and demonstrated the available options in terms of mechanisms, ease of use, size and fabric finish.
He identified a sofa-bed that met and exceeded our requirements and which was also at a popular price point.
He included free damage insurance for 5 years together with a likely swift delivery from known stock. We decided we did not need to look anywhere else.

Michale was extremely patient, helpful and very knowledgable every thing we asked him he was prepared to answer. We appreciated his help and knowledge.

They have a brilliant selection of furniture at really competitive prices. And the customer service is EXCELLENT - ask for Peter, he was simply superb in every respect! Thank you.

Peter was a very patient salesperson. We took over 2 hours to choose a suite - at no point were we rushed or made to feel an inconvenience. Totally professional service, very knowledgeable about the brands, colour combinations, delivery options etc etc. A very pleasant experience.

Returning back to the Southport Stokers store was and has always been a great experience we have always received helpful and profesional service from the staff. Jenny Bedworth was again so helpful in helping us make our purchase for a Windsor Dining Table and chairs which we look forward to useing.

Visited Stokers Chester. Very helpful sales person. No pressure to purchase goods and efficient with follow up sales advice. First class furniture.

We had just as good of a service from Julie Williams for buying extra material for our new sofa as we did when buying our sofa. Will all ways recommend your store because of the service we received from Julie.

Popped into Store today and saw Pete upstairs! He was so helpful and we walked out with not just the bed we came in for but a sofa too! Great service and excellent value for money. Thanks Pete!

The people (Julie and Andrew) knew the products we were interested in well and answered all our queries- they also took the time to extend the bed settee out and match the desk with the chair we wanted.

I was visiting family in Chester and popped into the store so that I could view a table, I had seen online. Julie Williams was very helpful and knowledgeable and I went on to purchase the table. I rang her, once the table had been delivered and ordered some chairs and, again, she was incredibly helpful and friendly. Even though I live in the South East, I will make any future orders via the Chester branch and would have no hesitation in recommending their wonderful staff.

I went to the Chester store looking for a 3 and 2 seater settee.
I found the store bright and airy with a huge selection to suit everyone's taste.
I couldn't find what I had in mind so asked Steve Wood for help, he wasn't pushy at all, he pointed out what he thought I'd like then left me alone to make my choices. I found him really helpful and knowledgeable and the whole experience was relaxed and friendly.
I ended up getting exactly what I had in my head. I'd definitely recommend Stokers to family and friends.

We’re were really pleased with how Andrew Short looked after us. We visited many times to try and decide which sofas we wanted. Andrew was very patient and knowledgeable. He was able to answer all our questions and looked after us very well. We are excited to receive our new sofas.
