This review is divided into two parts
This review is divided into two parts: the hotel experience and the spa.
First, let’s talk about the hotel. The staff are incredibly friendly and welcoming, which made our stay enjoyable. However, the management really needs to step up their game. For the prices being charged, basic housekeeping should be a given. Unfortunately, the general cleanliness left a lot to be desired—it felt more aligned with a 2 or 3-star establishment. For instance, after breakfast, the table tops weren’t wiped down, leaving food crumbs for the next guests. There were also several maintenance issues: plug sockets were loose in the bar and restaurant areas, curtains were damaged, bedside lights weren’t working, and the wardrobe light wouldn’t turn off. The garden area, just two years old, looked like it hadn’t seen any care for a decade. It wouldn’t take much for the managers to walk around during shift changes, listen to customer feedback, and address these issues.
Now, onto the spa—what a different story! It was spot on with fantastic, friendly staff who truly made our experience special. The facilities were top-notch and added so much value to our stay. You’re bound to love the spa!
If the hotel can take a cue from the spa, this place could truly be amazing. With the spa at a 5-star level and the hotel currently sitting at 3 stars, it all comes down to attention to detail. That’s the key to transforming this resort into something great!
