Good to know
We understand that passengers come with luggage, so we won’t charge you any extra for yours. Car passengers can bring as much as they can fit into their vehicles. And foot passengers can bring as much as they can carry, so long as no single piece of luggage is over 23kg in weight. That makes packing a whole lot easier!

Staff so helpful. Ships beautifully laid out. Quick to load and unload cars.
Please make it clear to dog owners NOT to walk dogs through restaurant area!

We really enjoyed the sail over, staff were attentive. They even helped us get the dogs in pet area coming back, as they were traumatised with kennels.

good cabins, great breakfast and bars. my only gripe is that the dog relief area is very small. The ship is huge so there must surely be a way of extending the dog area, particularly when there are a number of dogs of all sizes on board. I was not the only dog owner that felt this way.

It was our first car ferry experience and overall we enjoyed it and were impressed. The service ran on time, felt very safe and the Premium lounge was a very nice place to travel with plenty of nice drinks and snacks. Light meals from the restaurant were also very nice. Staff were very helpful and should be congratulated.
In regard to improvements, waiting in our cars at the gates is never enjoyable, so earlier embarkation would improve this, if it is possible and the air conditioning in the Premium Lounge was too cold, especially during the 01:30 sailing from Fishguard.
However, overall we were happy and would certainly use the service again.

I love the Stena Plus lounge, and the staff are friendly and helpful, the ship is well equipped, well maintained, clean, smooth and quiet. The only area where Stena could improve is that they appear to make no effort to prevent vehicle alarms from going off on the vehicle deck, which is odd given that on their Belfast-Birkenhead service they make multiple announcements during boarding for drivers to disable their alarms, and for any who don't know how to ask for help. Even up on 8th deck I could hear alarms going off several decks below on both my journeys.

On time, friendly helpful staff. Cabins a much better temperature this time. Often too hot making it hard to sleep. My family and I use the Belfast Liverpool crossing about three or four times a year to visit family and friends. We always enjoy our crossings and treat them as part of our holiday. The food is ok Some meals are better than others. The breakfast baps are the best but the ceasar salads are too so caked in mayonnaise. Overall though, I think compared to other ferry companies when that travel from England to France etc, the price is rather high.

Don't think its fair that people travelling with children are made to go to deck 1 or 2 especially if they have platinum membership

My parents were with us and both need assistance, we were parked near lift for wheelchair

Compared to your North Sea services, the Irish Sea service was poor. The so-called "restaurant" served only fast food & then ran out of that and had to close the service. Duty-free felt over-priced for many things. Irish Ferries did a better job for us.

Staff always friendly and helpful, great selection of food drinks for reasonable price.

I hadn’t been on a ferry for years, from our check in to driving off on both journeys, couldn’t have been smoother, everyone was helpful, made our journey relaxed and a pleasure from start to finish! Very clean and everything you need in one place! Thank you!
