A new boiler installed at a tenanted property, the whole process was seamless. Matt was professional, courteous and gave a very competitive quote, nothing was too much trouble and he went above and beyond to ensure myself and my tenants were happy. Best words are from my tenants "very helpful, professional and hard working, he did a great job" I would highly recommend Startech Engineering.

I contacted Matt in April as we had a leak in our water tank. They were very fast in responding to come out and shut down the water. Matt explained that both the boiler and the water tank were very old and needed replacing. The following week Matt and his team of experts came over and replaced both units and also connected them to HIVE. They did a fantastic job and tidied up after themselves. We had a small issue this week and Matt came out again within 3 hours of my call to resolve the issue.
I would thoroughly recommend Startech because there service and work is impeccable..

I had a new boiler and unvented cylinder installed a year ago after my old cylinder leaked and flooded half of the house. Lee responded quickly to the original emergency and Sam did an excellent job installing the replacements.
They both went over and above what was needed and I was very happy with the result.
Lee came back to do the boiler service.

Can’t fault Startech at all, had an emergency on New Year’s Eve back along Lee was out the same day to sort the boiler very efficient and very reasonable price.
Also done a couple changes to TRV’s as we was having issues they work absolutely fine now. Can’t fault there work either

I had a new boiler and radiators fitted and the service was first class from start to finish. Lee arrived punctually to provide me with a quote, he explained what my options were and the reasons behind them so it made it easy for me to make the best choices for my home. Once the work was booked in I was given a date and time for the work to be carried out and Jack arrived as promised. Jack walked me through everything to make sure I was still happy with the work booked, he was polite and professional throughout, cleaned up any mess that was made and programmed my hive on my phone explaining how everything worked. I would recommend this company to anyone looking for a service upto a full install.

New boiler and radiators fitted without any issues. Great price for a new boiler and gave more than one option to chose from. Clean, tidy and respectful. Would recommend and use again 👍🏻

Brilliant from start to finish! Quick turnaround, even when we changed the requirements halfway through the job, they smashed it out! Unbelievable work ethic and extremely reasonable. Would not hesitate to use them on my next job!

I had a Navien boiler installed by Matt George and Lee two years ago. I was told that they would service it for ten years even if I moved, the new owners would take up any remaining years. I forgot about servicing the first year and during the second year I had a problem with the thermostat. Lee came out and fixed the problem and said he would come along on Friday (this being the Monday prior).He did not arrive. No phone call, message or mail. I tried phoning all of them in turn and e-mailing but nobody ever responded, not EVER!!. I have the thought that Lee was supposed to be their representative for my area (Minehead) but has dropped out from Startech and I am too far away for the others, Matt and George, to bother with me. It has been a hell of a time to find another engineer for this type of boiler but I found one. He pointed out that Startech had not filled in the installation completion report and that two brackets were not installed where necessary. I am a new customer who has been dumped by Startech. I will say that they acted quickly when after fitting the boiler there was an oil leak which flooded through my garage but overall, I would not recommend them unless you live close by to one of them.

Jack fitted a new boiler yesterday, all 200% positive from start to finish. Jack is a charming young man, very professional and his work meticulous. He was funny too and we had a bit of a laugh 😆

DO NOT USE! These contractors have been appointed by my insurance company, I’ve been left without heating or hot water in December- they keep confirming appointments for next day and never show up (5 appointments between 9am-5pm) both phones switched off; they have many invalid reasons to why they haven’t turn up or simply no reason they just don’t show up. They don’t care, they will mess you around and switch their phones off. Stay away!

Never had a better tradesperson. Matt truly went above and beyond with his service explaining everything clearly and making return visits went he was in the area to make sure everything with all ok. Truly one of the best services we’ve ever received and won’t go with anyone else for any plumbing or boiler needs. Extremely reasonably priced as well

Can not recommend these guys highly enough. Boiler replacement and relocation on a fairly complicated system. Several issues, connected to the system, not the installers but all sorted and no complaints that the job took a while longer than they had quoted for. Great friendly and efficient service start to finish including some great out of hours support. Also, half the cost quoted by British Gas.

I recently switched my old cylinder boiler to a combination boiler and used Startech Engineering Ltd, as they were very highly rated by friends.
Matt and his team were very knowledgeable and helped me choose the best option for my budget, nothing was too much trouble and all my questions were answered. I did not feel rushed to make my decision, but once I had, within a couple of days it was fully installed.
I am really pleased with the first class service I received, Matt went above and beyond to advise and explain to me, keep me informed at each stage and did a brilliant job in very quick time. Thank you so much Matt and if you choose Startech Engineering for your new boiler, you won’t be disappointed.
