I ordered speakers from Son-Video on 28 November as a holiday gift. On the product page, the delivery time was clearly stated as 3–5 days, which was a key factor in my purchase decision, especially considering this is a premium product.
As of 17 December, the order has still not been delivered. The delivery date has been postponed multiple times: firstly to 12 then to 17 and is now got the message about 19 December, but there is still no clear confirmation.
What is most disappointing is the lack of customer service. There has been no proactive communication, no proper follow-up, and responses (when they happen) are slow and unhelpful. When you purchase an expensive product, you expect a completely different level of service.
If a company cannot meet the stated delivery timeframe, it should not advertise it. At the very least, customers deserve accurate delivery estimates and transparent communication. Misleading delivery labels and poor support show a lack of respect for customers.
This has been a very frustrating experience, and unfortunately, the worst customer service I have encountered for a premium purchase.
Update: its 19th and I still have no confirmation about my order, nor change in status, still Processing. They never reply to my tickets or emails. This reply below my review doesnt change anything and doesnt give any clarification but just to fob off a client. Waiting for my order for three weeks when its mentioned 3-5 days is feeling like a simple scam. I wonder if my order even going to be delivered ever.. I think its better to escalate this case with police and law enforcements..
Update: order was delivered on 23d of December.

The delivery was as promised within 48 hours from time of payment.
In my particular case Aurelie, the shop manager was very kind and knowledgeable about the product, so I could enjoy great advice for free.
Also the prices seem very competitive.

I bought 3 high-ticket items. It transpired that only 2 were in stock and they refused to restock the remaining item for me due to constraints by the supplier.
They point blank denied my request for an honorable reimbursement so I can finish my purchase on another website at a higher price, and just flat out forced me on to their low value reimbursement offer.
Rather than look at the situation as a whole and seek my fulfilment first, they just wanted me gone and the situation closed and did so illegally by ignoring me and tearing up the buyer-sellers agreement made at purchase and proceeding with shipment and reimbursement without my consent.
This company has to change. Avoid if possible despite temping offers, stick with the highly successful Amazon for real customer fulfilment.

Once I had a problem with a loudspeaker and their waranty service react well.
During their recent refurbished product sale I thought I got a good deal on one of the more popular high-end headphones.
I paid the 10% deposition fee and all, but suddenly 2 days later Son-Video cancelled the order.
Just have that in mind if you ever buy one of the more popular products when they're having a refurbished sales campaign.
Communication was a bit disappointing as well, It looked to me like they were using Google translate. Having at least a few English speakers on your customer support crew isn't too much to ask if you're selling to the rest of Europe.
If you sell items worth over 1000 Euro's to the rest of Europe, it's pretty baffling that the support can't communicate in English.

Overall I have had a very positive experience with the purchase of Focal Aria 906s'. They were available at a very attractive price and while it was a bit disappointing having to wait for them to be back in stock for 3 weeks they well well worth the wait (and certainly well worth the price). Throughout that period Pierre from the customer support team was very helpful and promptly answered all my queries. Once the product was back in stock again it was dispatched the very same day and delivered to my address (Ireland) within 2 days with DHL express. Thank you.
