I would 100% recommend Seamus. He arranged to inspect the property at very short notice and turned around a comprehensive report incredibly quickly, which was invaluable during a stressful process.
What really impressed me was the time he spent going through the report with me. He explained everything clearly, made sure I understood every possible implication of the purchase, and answered all of my questions with patience and honesty. His knowledge and expertise are second to none, and I genuinely felt that he had my best interests at heart rather than just completing the job. I'm incredibly grateful for the clarity and confidence his report gave me to make the right decision.
Throughout the entire process he was approachable, friendly, professional, and genuinely cared. I will definitely use him again for any future property purchases and wouldn't hesitate to recommend him to anyone looking for a first-class surveyor.

Seamus is much more hands on than surveyors we have used previously, he will contact you personally when you are looking to arrange the survey and I found him very friendly and approachable. The survey itself was carried out very promptly and we received the extremely detailed report 5 days later. I think if you had not received a survey report before, you might be worried by all the issues that Seamus will discover and raise, but he was happy to chat for over half an hour after we had digested the report to reassure us that it was a house worth buying. He produced 2 reports for us, a detailed 'Extract Report' that is for the purpose of sending to the vendors, to negotiate the price down, as well as an even more detailed report for us. I have had good surveys done in the past, but have always had to put together the equivalent of the 'Extract Report' myself, so this saved me many hours of work and was more professional. Both reports use a drone (I assume) to take photos of the roof etc etc and all the many photos and written info on what was urgent etc was really helpful. I would not hesitate to use Seamus again, if we buy another house in this area. He may not be the cheapest, but you definitely get a top class service.
