Slide and Fold Reviews 

Do not order from this company!! I closely followed the online buying instructions and ordered a right hinged internal door. After delaying my order initially for quality issues the doors were delivered by an amazingly helpful delivery man.

There was nothing on the packaging to describe the doors. I had a light switch moved especially for my right hinged door. The door was installed by my builder while I was away - it was left hinged!!

The door also didn’t not come with enough gasket to finish the installation.

I checked my order and called slide and fold and send a photo of the door where I was told that they couldn’t work out if the door was wrong despite the photo. I was also told that perhaps I didn’t understand the online instructions to order the correct door. I had ordered the correct door, they had sent the wrong one even with their QA process!!

After 20minutes Adam finally agreed it was the wrong door that had been sent and again said he would address this on the website- ???? Still the wrong door- right order!!! He suggested I get my builder to take it out and reverse it!! I decided to move my light switch back as easier.

Adam send some gasket but it turns out it was the wrong kind, at first I was told it was correct by Adam until I described it as red not black. So then we waited more days for the correct gasket to be sent!
I emailed Adam today and was told that as the door was installed they couldn’t do anything but don’t worry he is looking at the website. Again - I ordered correctly they sent the wrong door but he will not take any accountability for it. I was made to feel it was my error, it was my error to use this company that is for sure!!!

There were a few glitches in the beginning with regards to delivery dates but, after an email to their Customer Services Team, Adam Ball turned it all around. He provided excellent service and really went the extra mile to ensure I was happy with the finished door. He even tweaked an existing door while he was at my house which now is back to perfect working order. Can't thank him enough. If you have any issues with Slide and Fold, just speak with Adam, he'll sort it.

Well where do I start.... Except from I should have reviewed earlier but been really busy..... From ordering this company couldn't do enough for you from advise about what would work best for us always through to the Saturday morning when I was fitting they were always there on the phone for guidance to talk me through the fitting process...... These guys are amazing.... Now the doors have been in over a year I noticed it got a little stiff this is where they were amazing I contacted the aftersales and got the most helpful guy sure he was called Adam 😬... I explained what happened then I got a full email with diagrams on how to sort this..... Due to myself not sorting the problem straight away it had made the handle go a little dodgy he also sent me a link to the new handle.... Overall I am over the moon with the quality and even more happy with the after sales support... You get a 10/10 from me guys

A Excellent Professional service by Adam and all of the team at Slide and fold . This is our third time in placing an order for doors with them the last being this July and as expected the Bifolds fitted perfectly and look fantastic and delivered on time , there was a minor issue which was cause by us but it was immediately resolved by a call to one of the friendly helpful team . A pleasure to deal with . Looking forward to doing more business with Slide & fold in the future . Many Thanks again for a first class service and product

Be warned this is not a long standing company as advertised on the website. The company went in to liquidation on December 23 resulting on outstanding orders being cancelled with no refund including my order of £31k.

My wife placed an order in October 2023 for the total of £23,106. Only a third of the order was delivered in mid December with some missing parts. Subsequently, in the first week of January we were informed that the company went into liquidation. However our requests for the return of the money have been to no avail. This has caused us lot of stress and struggling to finish our house.
We noted that the new company use the same website etc. This is a Fraudulent company, keep away from them....

I purchased our doors in 2015 and we love our slide and fold doors, they have been brilliant. We recently had a problem with one of the runners and slide and fold went out of there way to sort the problem sending us the part even though they no longer manufacture our door which arrived today. Excellent service, great staff and great communication. Thank you.

The company, slide and fold ltd, took my money and then claimed they were bankrupt, and declined to deliver. Apparently, selling the website to slide and fold aluminium ltd. who trade from the same address but are no way related to the company who stole my money? So the company you are buying from has been trading since December 2023.

Be very careful! Like a cheating partner, it is just a matter of time before they do it again.

Great service from start to finish. Was a little nervous about ordering online but the guys at slide and fold made the ordering process very straight forward. Windows were delivered on time and look fantastic! Will definitely be using again when the time comes and have already recommended to friends. Thanks again!

The order was supposed to be delivered in 6 weeks instead in mid December only a third of the order was delivered but the windows were missing a crucial part necessary for their installation. The company said they were going to post these but they never came. Subsequently, in the first week of January we were informed that the company went into liquidation. It is clear that the company is still operating and taking orders. However my requests for the return of the money or for the order fulfilment have been to no avail. I can only assume it is a dishonest organisation.

This fraudulent company takes payment and never delivers while claiming bankruptcy. At the same time they are accepting new orders. A warning to anyone considering them

Do not use the company! It is a fraud! The company is in Administration and still taking the ordered after sending the email that they WILL NOT DELIVER the order, which was paid in full in November 2023 order number INV 3383. Apparently by only changing the name they still trading under same website and sale phone number. The page and website should be closed with the closing of old company. It’s impersonating of company which failed so many customers.
The website has flashy sales but its too good to be true. Avoid.

Stay well clear took £4100 of my hard earned money very conveniently, insisted on the whole amount and pushed me to pay the money so I can have delivery in January and guess what I get an email saying the company has gone bankrupt and I should pay the amount again and they will do the same deal how very noble of them Robin Hood! criminals. They also feel it’s OK to steal from credit card companies. Stealing money is stealing, and if you want to be dealing with people like this then go ahead, but don’t say you were not want

I've just been dealing with Adam at customer services, and I have to say he was absolutely excellent. He went the extra mile in terms of sorting my issue and I can't speak highly enough of him or the company, would definitely recommend to anyone.

Great bifold doors, which were very competitively priced when I purchased them and exceptional customer service; I have owned a set of bifold doors for the past 7 years and they’ve been a fantastic purchase, make the room come alive.

I recently wrote to Adam at their customer services enquiring if he could help identify a replacement part for one of the rubber seals and without me asking he posted a replacement part! Would recommend them in a heartbeat.

Just wanted to write a review to express our thanks for all the help and advice we have received throughout our purchase, installation and initial use of the sliding doors. We are very pleased with quality and finish of the doors and particularly the customer service.

We ordered three sets of bifold doors online from Slide and Fold in June and have only just installed them (hence the belated review). We were really impressed with the high standard of customer service we received from our initial purchase right through to delivery. The quality, standard and precision engineering of the products is exceptional and we were able to install all three sets of bifolds ourselves without any issues. All the staff we spoke to were really helpful, knowledgeable and professional, especially Sarah who is an absolute credit to the company and who's help was invaluable to us and very much appreciated.
We would definitely order from Slide and Fold again and would happily recommend their three pane bifold doors, which have totally transformed our home and look amazing!

Our original set of 7 large sliding patio doors were installed about 5 years ago and are really lovely. Their customer service has always been second to none, including today (hence the review).

I did a lot of shopping around before buying a triple pane sliding door. These guys were some of the cheapest and the product is extremely high quality. It is very slimline and light and looks fantastic, I would definitely recommend. I have also found the customer service has been exceptional (especially Adam) which is what prompted me to leave a review.
