Overall recommendable, minor issues need to be improved
The order arrived within two days, paperwork is secure as it can be and overall the product feels very comfy and I could even recommend, but:
-1 for the installation of the receiver, no assistance during the time I had to wait was making me feel unsure and I even tried to call support due to various errors (12010, 14xxx).
-1 for missing sound on Sky go at diverse streams sometimes it works sometimes only sound on PC available.

They are still billing me 7 months…
They are still billing me 7 months after I cancelled my subscription and even deleted my account !!
I had subscribed to a sky ticket 7 months ago to watch Game Of Thrones, my subscription was a monthly cancellable one, which means that I could cancel it anytime.
When the TV show ended I cancelled my subscription, it appeared as cancelled but when I logged out and logged in again it showed that it is still ongoing.
I contacted the support about it and they confirmed to me via email that my subscription is cancelled. A day later I received an email that I am subscribed to some cinema ticket. I emailed them again and explained to them that I want to cancelled my subscription and not subscribe to another one and requested them to delete my account.
In the next few months I kept getting billed 10 euro, I emailed them last month and asked them to delete my account and I have also revoked my consent for them to keep my personal data, which obliges them to delete it.
They deleted my account but they billed me 3 euros again 2 days ago, which is not even the cost of that said subscription.
If you thinking of getting Sky for whatever reason, just don't. Because you can't walk away from their supposedly monthly cancellable contract.

Too expensive
Sky is waaaaaaaay to expensive. If you want to watch ONLY sports you already have to pay 30 euros a month. I would recommend DAZN or Amazon Eurosport player which are much cheaper alternatives. DAZN costs only 12 euros per month and you get all Friday Bundesliga games and sometimes other games and you even get to watch ALL Serie A, Ligue 1, La Liga, and the CHAMPIONS LEAGUE.
Ruined my evening
Came back from a long week at work. Wanted to have a relaxed Friday evening and watch a Premier League game. Well, did not manage it... the receiver did not work, I wasn't able to switch it on, spent 15 minutes in the web searching for a solution, had to "actualize my software" while the game was running and it didn't finish until the end although it initially said 15 minutes...disgrace

Was lied to about what channels I get when I signed up. Then the box wouldn’t work and had to do a Manuel search every time I wanted to watch something (took a hour) people on the service hot line were rude and mean and often just hung up the telephone because they didn’t want to handle a call. Went over six months with out service because calling the hot line made my blood pressure go thru the roof just picking up the phone. Make no mistake these people also sell your telephone number and address and email address to marketing companies so you will get spam daily and your phone being invaded as well. I know because I got the proof they sold my personal data. This company is nothing more then a Thief and will rob your money and give you nothing at all. I was also called 3 times a week where when I took the call the person would hang up so that you must call back. Then when I talked to people they would offer me a contract that I already had. After telling them I’m already a costumer they would flat out call me a liar! I had to finally start screaming and cussing at them when every they called. It all finally stopped! Who knew?
No Service at all
I registered to Sky Ticket for Game of Thrones season 8 and paid with Paypal. Although everything is activated and I can login to my account. I cannot watch anything because Sky Ticket does not recognize the entertainment package I bought. I cannot call their customer care because they did not provide me any customer-number and apparently without customer number you cannot connect to agent. So I've been trying everyday to reach out to them via twitter and email support. Nevertheless, they are not responding at all. It has been 5 days I bought this monthly service but I cannot use it. I checked my Paypal account at last and saw that my payment is in PENDING status. I asked Paypal and they said Sky needs to approve or I have to wait 30 days until Paypal automatically does something. This is the worst service I had in my entire online existence. I cannot even call this a service. You go online purchase something and you are not delivered, that's it.
I strongly advise people not to buy any product of Sky since it is not worth the stress. Having no support is horrible when you have a problem that needs to be solved.
Taking money after ended contract period
Me and my boyfriend quit Sky last September, and the contract was running until end January. We sent the receiver and controls back in December, preparing that the contract would run out in January. We have received out quitting letter, and sad that you leave us letter. But, the money keeps getting withdrawn from our bank account. Calling is not helping, so we send an email and the guy on the other end said sorry and that he would send us back the 153 euros they had booked from our bank card from beginning February until March. Today we checked out bank account to see if they gave us our money back, just to realize that sky took another 79 euros from our account, and no money is sent back. How is this possible? This is not the first company to act like this in Germany, and I am starting to question myself if we need to fight for a good 6 month with every company every time we quit a contract (and after legally being out of the contract) in order for them to quit just take money from our account, without a running contract. We don't live in Germany anymore, and it's very frustrating that big amounts like 80 euros all of a sudden is booked from our card for a service we quit using 4 months ago, and legally have emails and physical letters confirming that we quit. Since we received our good bye letter and contract has ran out since end January, we have paid 230 euros. For nothing. For TV in a country we don't live in. Can someone please explain to me what is going on, and how can this be legal?
HORRIBLE
This is the most customer unfriendly homepage I have ever seen. It took me an hour to register my account. I tried to install software to start watching the series. I downloaded skyGo, it didn't work. Then I had to download another useless software Sky Ticket. However, Sky Ticket doesn't work on ipad, so I had to switch to a PC and download the same software again. The next day I tried to log in and I just can no longer access my account. It says my account doesn't exist. THIS IS A HORRIBLE COMPANY.
