I completed KYC verification on Skin.Club specifically because the platform presented verification as a way to “unlock instant top-up by skins.” Their FAQ also stated that to get instant skin payments you need to complete verification and have no reversed payments.
After submitting sensitive personal data and successfully completing verification, I was then informed that instant skin deposits are actually determined by hidden factors such as region, partner decisions, and internal risk systems — and that KYC alone does not guarantee access.
My issue is not with KYC itself. I understand compliance requirements. My issue is with the way the feature is communicated. The wording creates a strong expectation that verification enables instant deposits, while the important limitations are only explained afterward.
Support was polite throughout the conversation, but the responses were inconsistent:
* UI says “unlock instant top-up”
* FAQ says verification is required
* Support later says verification does not guarantee access
I believe the platform should communicate these limitations much more clearly before users submit identity documents and complete verification.
Just sharing my experience so other users understand how the system actually works before going through KYC.
UPDATE: After posting this review, Skin.Club responded publicly asking me to contact support for a “detailed explanation.” However, I had already been in contact with support for weeks before writing this review and received multiple inconsistent explanations regarding Instant Skin Deposit eligibility.
The issue was never properly resolved. My concern remains the same: the platform wording creates the impression that KYC verification unlocks instant skin deposits, while additional undisclosed conditions are only explained afterward.
I am simply sharing my experience so other users understand how the system actually works before submitting identity documents and completing verification.

Honest review after 3 years
I’ve been using this site for almost 3 years and have wasted a lot of money. I’ve tried solo openings, battles, and upgrades. I have over 1500 battles and have deposited more than €35k.
There’s a clear pattern they use to lure you in. Early on, you might win big once or twice, but don’t be fooled—it doesn’t happen again. You’ll deposit €2000 and lose constantly for days. Then they’ll give you back €1000 and make it feel like you got lucky and won big.
It’s pretty obvious that if the site doesn’t want you to win, you won’t win, no matter the odds. They seem to use a carefully designed pseudo-luck system with about a 50% ROI long term. Real luck doesn’t care about past results, but on this site, after a week of bad luck, it almost feels guaranteed you’ll suddenly hit 0.1% or 0.5% odds like it’s nothing.
The same thing happens with daily rewards. You usually get the minimum unless you’ve lost a lot or are depositing frequently. There’s also no rakeback, races, or raffles just for being active, which most competitors offer.
And the item markup is crazy. For example, you might win an item “worth” $1500 (according to the site), but it’s around $1350 on the Steam market and closer to $1150 on third-party sites. If you insta-sell it for cash to gamble again, you’re left with about $900.
Overall, it’s a shady system designed to pull you in and mostly benefit the site and third-party platforms. In the end, you’ll likely be at a big loss. Stay away from this site and gambling in general—I learned the hard way and am paying for it now.
I hope this helps someone before skin.clubs deletes my review.
