HORRIBLE!
Horrible experience with this seller, via Etsy, based in Turkey. I bought a ring that is too small despite size chart. The rounding of the stone is uneven making it look cheap. The seller advertises "Free shipping". I specifically asked him to send the ring via Regular Post as I was not in a hurry. But he sends packages to Canada via companies such as DHL, FEDEX, or UPS in my case which ALWAYS hit customers you with brokerage fees on top of duty fees. Everyone knows that! I was trying to avoid this. He was only too happy to "rat me out". Are we not OVERTAXED as it is in Canada... The ring ended up costing me 215$ instead of 142$. He argued that it was the shipping company mistake when I opened a case with Etsy and was horrendous enough to argue and "put me down" even after my daughter's death. He and his "shipper" sent emails after emails on the very day of my daughter's funeral😢 He was blackmailing me to erase my review in exchange for the refund of the 17$ brokerage fee?! I told him I didn't care and didn't back down facing this bully! Is this the way it goes in Turkey? Well, not here.
Horrible man, disgusting attitude given the circumstances and the ring is average and definitely not the price I paid for it. The cherry on top was ETSY siding with the seller? That says it all. Would you buy from such a company?
Because of my disability, I can't shop in regular stores. I buy everything online. Everything. This has been the worst experience I've ever had. Bravo SILVERTOLIA.
