Excellent service

Excellent service from the courier (Steve) whom I picked out from several quotations. I was able to put in my exact requirements and the couriers advised how they could help me. Shiply is very good. First time using it and a very good experience. Great communication, safe, easy to use, friendly and reliable couriers.

We used Shiply for the first time to…

We used Shiply for the first time to transport a fragile display cabinet and purchased the Shiply Protection Plan for additional peace of mind. Unfortunately, our experience has been extremely disappointing.

The cabinet arrived badly damaged during transport, and part of the shipment (the glass panels) was not even collected by the carrier. We immediately reported the damage and supplied extensive evidence, including photographs, invoices, company registration documents, bank details, and identity documents.

Over several weeks, we repeatedly complied with every request from the claims department. Instead of progressing the claim, we were continuously asked for additional administrative steps. The online identity verification process was problematic, and despite providing alternative official documents, our claim was ultimately rejected on identity verification grounds rather than on the actual merits of the case.

Even more surprisingly, Shiply alleged "intentional tampering" during the verification process—an accusation we strongly dispute after acting in good faith throughout the entire procedure.

The Protection Plan proved to be of no practical value when we actually needed it. From our perspective, the claims process was unnecessarily complex, lacked transparency, and failed to deliver the customer support we expected.

As Leica Camera France, we expected a professional handling of a legitimate claim. Instead, we were left with a damaged shipment, significant financial loss, and a highly frustrating customer experience.

Based on this experience, we cannot recommend Shiply or its Protection Plan to businesses transporting valuable or fragile goods.

Under the Shiply Protection Plan Terms and Conditions, successful identity verification is a mandatory requirement before any claim can be progressed. Unfortunately, the required identity verification was not completed despite multiple requests, and the submitted verification did not meet the Protection Plan requirements. As a result, your claim could not be validated and was declined in accordance with the Protection Plan Terms and Conditions.
