I bought a wheelchair for my dad from Statewide Home Health Care, and the experience was honestly very good.

The staff took the time to understand his needs instead of just selling us whatever was on the shelf. They explained the options clearly, helped us choose the right chair and made sure it was suitable for him before we committed.

It’s stressful organising equipment for a parent, but they made the whole process feel calm and straightforward. My dad is comfortable with the wheelchair, and that’s what matters most.

I’d definitely recommend SHHC to anyone buying mobility equipment for a family member.

He was informative, sensitive and professional when explaining the options to my 87 year old mum in the purchase of a walker.

I have ordered two Trust Let's Go Out wheeled walkers from Statewide Home Health Care. The walkers failed to arrive in both cases, so I followed up with a phone call. In each case, they promised to call back, which they failed to do. In the case of the first walker, when I followed up on the non-delivery, they told me they didn't have stock! A phone call to advise me of this, or better still, advising me when I placed the order, would have been beneficial. For the second walker, three months went by without the walker arriving and no communication from the company. When I phoned them, they told me they were still waiting on the bag (an accessory) so they hadn't sent it. I asked them to please send everything they had and they could send the bag later. It is now weeks later and still no walker! This has meant my husband has missed out on outings and events because he needs the walker. The lack of communication is a serious issue. They fail to call back when they promise they will do so. Very disappointing. The first Trust walker is an excellent product and I would recommend it to anyone seeing a walker, however, I would recommend they source one from another supplier.

A few days ago I visited this store to seek information.on mobility scooters. I had been advised by the store manager to discuss my needs with Aaron as he is their expert on mobility scooters .
He was amazing, not only ascertaining my needs and requirements , he guided me through a trial run on the pavement outside the store. Suggested I hired one initially and I arranged for an Occupational Therapist to come to my apartment, when the scooter was delivered he would also come to ensure it was suitable . Approx one & a half hours later we left very very happy thanks to Aaron for his great advice . This. was impeccable customer service. I look forward to trialing one soon.
