Today I have received my selco delivery.The driver was amazing and very helpful . His name is Asim from Ruislip branch . Excellent delivery and very nice service. I like to order selco more and more.store Ruislip

Really helpful staff and knowledgeable, quick service and great customer care. Order delivered first thing next morning and everything was correct and in good condition. Got a really great deal on my materials and free delivery.

I have to say John was amazing! we were in a really difficult situation as we had a leak and new baby recently. we needed items that would fit in my car delivered. he saw I was in trouble and struggling. they were short staffed as pickers hadn’t come in for that day. he took it upon himself to liaise with the manager and volunteer himself to go and get everything and have It loaded on to a van for delivery that morning. he and his colleagues Anthony were most helpful. the manager who authorised this was very helpful too. however, John was the star of the show and we are forever grateful!

I just wanted to leave a quick note to say thank you to Chris at Selco.
He was very helpful, very professional,and took the time to assist me properly without rushing.It is not something you see everywhere ,and it really made a difference to my visit.

Please provide Wi-fi for customers! I could show my PDF receipt from my phone in a fraction of the time it takes the shop till so the queues build up !

Friendly staff. Great value. Excellent delivery service

I recently bought and installed a deck after the winter I noticed one deck board had become split and damaged due to all the rain I went back to Selco with pictures and showed the staff, the Manager did no more than to replace the board the next day.

The customer service from this Manager at Tyburn truly represents excellent understanding of the customers needs and goes over and above to make sure this happens.

I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this store to anyone looking for building materials in the future

The manager at this branch doesn't know the first thing about customer service. Having already tried to delay my delivery yesterday, he came up with another BS excuse today. It was obvious they had overbooked. When I spoke to him he was speaking over me, telling me about his other customers and how he will have to tell them the same thing (I'm sorry but isn't that your job?), telling me it's not a big deal and I can just get builders to come in whenever I needed them on a whim, and goading me by saying I "needed him" for his materials. Not once did I hear a "sorry" for the delay. Avoid this branch if you don't want to be treated like dirt.

From going into the shop to order our gravel. Which we collected few days later. All went very smoothly. People so friendly and chatty. Which goes a long way. ASHLEY who served us was very friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Perfect.

You didn’t deliver when you said you would, I ended up cancelling, poor show. I expect a more customer focused experience. Much better service and prices elsewhere. Won’t be trying you again

Sandra has been absolutely amazing! She consistently goes the extra mile to make sure I find everything I need, and her dedication really stands out. Not only does she help source all the right products, but she also ensures I’m getting great prices every time. Her service is always prompt, reliable, and professional. It’s rare to come across someone so helpful and committed highly recommend!

This is based on the store in Slough.

The staff have either no customer service training or they don't care. For example, while queued at the Customer Service desk, the staff member was serving another customer (no other staff available or they were doing something else even though I was clearly waiting).

As the customer was on the phone I asked the member of staff, while they were not engaged with the customer but having a non work related conversation with another member of staff, a question. They replied politely but while trying to ask a follow up question they had already resumed their conversation (again not work related) with the staff member they were speaking to before.

Once receiving an answer I went about the store for the items I needed. I was glad that one member of staff actually helped me with another question while I was looking.

When waiting again at the customer service desk with an item I heard a gruff direct voice saying "do you want to pay for that". Not a polite "Can I help you?". The response given to my question had no care or consideration, or empathy and assumed I knew things which I didn't. Rather they said something which felt "yeah, what, here" and expected me to go away and not to bother them.

The staff for the majority appear bored, uninterested as if they don't care about providing any customer service and want to end their life as well as your repeat visit to the store.

Appalling overall apart from the very rare few who actually help. I now will only go to Selco after Wickes and B&Q (or any cheaper store which value their customers).

Management need to educate their staff (as well as themselves) on basic politeness, manners and human interaction. Then re-evaluate their understanding of customer service.

Excellent service from the Selco Isleworth delivery team. My delivery driver (Dean) arrived (almost) on time and was very helpful, bringing the materials exactly where I needed them. Definitely, 5 stars!

I ordered floor boards from selco west Thurrock I was told I will receive my delivery first drop in the morning now is 1:15 pm no think has come call selco they don’t know no think when my delivery will come I lost days money for labour floor laying and my self cost me over £650 plus vat I won’t use them any more they take your money but don’t deliver the the service they provide

In store experience was great, and Kev came for the delivery, very helpful. I’ll be a repeat customer for sure.

In oll Selco I deal I want to specify Selco wembley is the best ,in the uk i work so many different places .Wembley i find very professional you make filling as hire is proper English manners nice sweet and polite .workers trade calling Bhimji mirela monika , make you fill good and looking after you a special Bhimji as go there because him .
