Saroj Kumar Das is a credit to the Alpha customer service department and himself. I found his solution to my assumed cancellation solved to my TOTAL satisfaction. He solved it and gave me (an older person not really computer literate) the steps to get me back online with an investing web page that I rely on. Couldn't ask for a better person for help.

Seeking Alpha is definetly a very useful website for understanding the general sentiment around a stock.
They also offer very easy access to historical financial data. If there is a special discount, don’t miss it. They follow a consistent pricing policy.

I get a great amount of value in reading the independent analysts' reports on various companies. What's especially convenient is being able to convert these analyst reports into MP3 audio files at the push of a button. I'm then able to play back the audio version of the reports while I'm working out at the gym. Lastly, I'll mention that customer support through Garima Singh is fast and thorough!

My initial request and follow ups were handled very promptly and professionally by Saroj. Very much appreciated.

This is a scam. Sign up for a trial to see their service and try to get out of it Good Luck then they will charge you 500 bucks a year. Their quick scripting in responses to this issue tells you that this is how they make all thier money. The only financial accumen they have is bait and switch. Beware.

I’ve been a Seeking Alpha Premium subscriber for years. This review is about a serious cancellation and UX issue, not the quality of the content.

I signed up for a Pro trial to evaluate the service. Before the trial ended, I went into my account to cancel so it would not renew. I took action within the trial period.

However, due to confusing plan naming and cancellation UX, I cancelled the wrong subscription. Premium was cancelled instead of Pro. From a user perspective, Premium appears to sit “above” Pro, which makes this mistake easy to make.

As a result, the Pro trial converted into a $2,900+ annual charge — despite clear intent to cancel. I contacted support immediately, explained the situation in detail, and provided evidence of timely cancellation.

Support acknowledged the confusion but refused any refund, repeatedly pointing to auto-renewal terms instead of addressing the fact that this was a UX-driven error, not a missed cancellation.

This is a disproportionate outcome for a trial cancellation mistake and a disappointing response toward a long-time customer acting in good faith.

Be extremely careful when cancelling trials on Seeking Alpha. One wrong click can result in a multi-thousand-dollar charge, and support may not help even if you cancel on time.
