Who we are 

Sedgwick is a firm of loss adjusters and claims handlers who look after claims on behalf of insurers. We work across the UK and have teams of specialists who can work with you to make sure your valid insurance claim is settled.

We look after a range of claims including damage to your home including home emergencies, flooding, storm, subsidence, storm and accidental damage. We will also manage your car insurance claim after you’ve been in a car accident.

What we do 

If you’re unfortunate enough to experience damage to your property or be involved in a car accident your insurer will ask us to look into the claim. We follow the insurer’s guidance and policy wording to establish what’s covered and what’s excluded. If your claim is covered then we work with you to assess the extent of the damage and then put plans in place to ensure the damage to your home or car is repaired.

Should you need them, our expert repair network is on hand to provide a full range of building repair services for both domestic and commercial situations.

The Reality of water damage , when you are in a state of shock and dispair , A voice at the end of the phone and in person providing information , advice , help has been greatly appreciated , valued

Our claim has been made easier with the support , knowledge , reassurance , expertise of Sarah and Corrinne .. we are a older couple and felt they were there for us with quick efficient communication, correspondence and feedback .. They have supported us from day 1 throughout our Claim over a 12 Month period . EXCEPTIONAL SERVICE PROVIDED !..

So far so abysmal

So far so abysmal. I had a water leak 3 weeks ago that has damaged most of my house and left me without a kitchen or bathroom during a heatwave and am having to travel to a family member’s house to shower. I’ve been told I need to move out while work is done but haven’t been told when, where or for how long. Every attempt to contact Sedgwick has resulted in a call back being promised and not delivered. I dread to think how long this claim is going to take and Sedgwick is by far the worst company I’ve had to deal with.

Made a stressful situation easier

Very stressful situation, i have never needed to claim on a insurance policy before, having lots of different repairs & replacements needed after my home was struck by lightning. I can not praise them enough. They attended quickly to help me sort & complete my claim. Ryan was proffesional, sympathetic & reasuring when dealing with my complex case. Offering a service that was simple & quick to find the right solutions.

Good Service

Sedgwick Repair Solutions handled my insurance claim professionally and kept the repair process well coordinated. Although there were some delays at the beginning, everything progressed smoothly once the works started. They appointed an excellent contractor, and I am very pleased with the overall outcome and support throughout the claim.

My insurance claim .

Nicola was appointed as my designated loss adjuster/ claims handler and I cannot rate her highly enough . With what was sometimes a stressful and difficult time following a flood in my house she acted quickly, professionally and ensured that everything was put in place to allow me to get my house back to it’s former standard .

From what was a very damaging water leak and stressful situation Sedgwick were fantastic from start to finish. They fixed the leak in double quick time and walked us professionally through every step of the process afterwards. A huge thank you to the Sedgwick team.

We recently have had a loss of water…

We recently have had a loss of water leak at our home which caused a lot of damage downstairs and had to claim off our insurance. We have had our claim managed by Sedgwick UK and have been looked after by Sarah and Corrine who have put us at ease from day one. They have been in constant touch all the while the repair work has been carried out and chased up any outstanding problems.The work is almost complete now and we have been really impressed with the result of what has been done.

Had to use them for emergency call out…

Had to use them for emergency call out, part of my Admiral home insurance.
After some initial teething problems surrounding the invoices I provided and the delay in the payment of my claim, it was all sorted out amicably with the help of William Lane from Admiral. Thank you.

Sedgewick’s amazing Covea horrendous

Amin Rahman has been so professional and helpful he has gone above his role to help me get my insurance claim paid, unfortunately he has battled with Covea insurance who have been the opposite unprofessional, very slow and many items falling through the cracks I would go as far to say appalling behaviour. Staff continually ignored me

Staff continually ignored me, avoided picking up the phone, said they’d call back and never did, said they’d send documents and had to be continually chased.

I’ll be avoiding any insurer that uses them moving forward.
