Scam website - have used for multiple deliveries and each time I had an issue they introduced a new rule that was not mentioned upfront so my claim was deemed invalid each time for a different reason despite documenting as they mentioned when I sent it.

Had a parcel that got damaged in transit. They paid the claim in full and whilst there is quite a bit of paperwork to submit. Its all understandable and I was shocked they actually honoured their commitment to pay out a claim! Most insurance companies look for any way out they can but I'm happy to say they sorted this out perfectly

Highly recommended when shipping musical instruments
Guitar tailpiece on a jazz guitar was damaged in transit.
Submitted claim to courier (Parcel Force) who rejected it because the said they don't insure musical instruments against damage (I was expecting this if anything happened to it, which is why I took out the extra insurance with Secursus.
Glad I did.
Submitted required info (make sure you package it up in line with their T&Cs and take plenty of photos during packing up for shipping - and at the receiving end) if the item gets damaged.
Secursus dealt with the claim for the replacement part & repair very quickly and I was pleasantly surprised that there was none of that nonsense where the insurance company tries every trick in the book to get out of settling a genuine claim.
All in all, I was very satisfied and impressed with this company. I will definitely be using then again for every shipment I make concerning musical instruments.
Based on this sole experience I wholeheartedly recommend them. And their rates are far better than increasing the insured level with the courier, who, if you read their small print will state that musical instruments are claims exempt anyway (they don't make this clear when offering higher levels of cover), so you would be wasting your money increasing the courier's level of cover.

I have just found out all insurance is invalid without photos of the package. So you have no right to say "your package is insured" at the end of the online process, without requiring photos to be uploaded during the online insurance process. No photos, no insurance, otherwise this is a false statement. The package is 100% NOT INSURED without photos, therefore you must require photos to be uploaded to make this statement.

First of all, Secursus fills an absolute void with regard to the possibility for private individuals to send sensitive objects such as watches or jewelery with insurance.
All society exclude these objects from insurance and even exclude them from objects to be sent simply. So thank you.
Then the service is very responsive, no artificial intelligence or badly put together FAQs, a person answers you, and they know their subject. All this is very professional, diplomatic and alerts you to the procedure to follow so that in the event of a dispute, everything is in order.
I recommend Secursus 200%, thank you again for this service which allows me to reduce my trips for personal delivery and to send to the other side of the world (literally) in complete safety and serenity.

Scam! unreliable company they won't refund you
Every insurance company looks good until it comes the time to apply for a claim because you are package has been missing or stolen.
I have purchased multiple insurance policies with secursus until in July a high value package was lost then found re-packed and the item inside stolen.
After providing every possible document required by the company, endless waits, replying to any kind of specific and detailed question about the situation.. The claim was rejected because the package was picked up from a ups point (where i work) instead of a private address or a ups center which does not even exist in the city i shipped from.
This company will try everything in their power to get away without refunding you, avoid at any cost purchasing insurance policy because its a waste of money and time, but most of all you risk losing everything as i did when a real problem shows up with your parcel.

i have been using Secursus since a few years for insuring my shippings. The platform works fast and efficient.
I had one claim which they sorted out to my satisfaction. It took a bit of time, but at the end everything was resolved.

Good Service / Be Aware of the Requirements
Ultimately it's a very good service and saves a lot of money compared to insuring direct with the couriers. I've now made my first claim and it was paid.
I would encourage buyers just to be fully aware of the requirements when using the service. You need to take photos of the items being sent (outside of packaging) as well as photos of the package with the shipping label. I originally sent in photos of boxed items being sent for a 14-day return and it was queried but as soon as I explained that the items were rejected 14-day items it was fine.
My claim was paid in a reasonable time frame, it was in fact the courier that dragged their heels. The courier paid me £20 and this was deducted from my Secursus payment.
Part of me wonders why they won't just pay the insured amount once the parcel is declared lost. However, Parcel to Go asked me for the same info so it seems to be the industry norm.
So in short, it's a great service and saves you a lot of money but make sure you do your homework if you want your claims paid......they will pay!

Secursus Great Friendly Service
I have used Secursus for a couple of years now and i find their service fast efficient and overall excellent with very competitive price. Unfortunately i had to make a claim as one of my items was damaged in transit. Secursus were quick to resolve my claim and made a very prompt payment they kept my informed of the process and were always very friendly and courteous in their emails. Very good.
I have been using Secursus for about 6 months now but I have just made my first claim off them. They are very easy to deal with and paid out within about 6 days of me starting the claim. Considering it costs you about half of what you would pay for insurance through the courier I think their service is excellent.

I use Secursus regularly and most times I never need use the insurance. On this occasion a guitar arrived damaged with the buyer. After providing various photographs and proof of packaging, damage they requested I get a quote to repair the item, once I done this, Secursus paid me the cost of the repair and shipping was refunded by courier company. I previously had an item damaged beyond repair and they paid out the full value of the guitar. Overall my experience with Secursus has been excellent.

I send a lot of small parcels overseas and some are quite valuable. I’m not able to insure with the post office as they won’t cover the retail value of my parcels only what the items cost me. So I found Secursus and now I insure with them. Once you’ve registered online, the process to insure your parcel is super easy and quick. And gives me peace of mind. I haven’t had to claim yet so I can’t comment on that aspect, but from what I read Sercursus should be very easy to deal with. Fingers crossed I never have to make a claim :)

The company has refused to issue me with their terms and conditions after asking 4 times.
The CEO contacted me directly on LinkedIn to ask my why I had posted a bad review. He claimed he would get my claim refunded as he had “connections with Chrono24”. This did not happen and Chrono24 said they had no contracts with them at all.
He also said he would issue me with exactly what I need to provided or the claim to be submitted. However after 2 weeks of leading me on they claimed I was outside their Ts and Cs.
They have stated that they do not cover claims made my individuals with items sold on online market places!!!! On their website is states “who can use secursus? Everyone private individual or registered company” also if this was the case they would have said that at the point of claim or even better on their website. Or is it false advertising?
They said I must supply them with a police report and conformation form the carrier they have not completed the delivery correctly which I have done and still nothing.
This company are literally using any made up loop hole to not pay my claim and it’s sickening. They close the claim and you can no longer communicate with them.
The CEO contacted me personally and I’m not sure what outcome he wanted, the review taken down? Well here’s another one or your dreadful false advertising lying insurance company.

They have since contacted trust pilot claiming that the CEO never contacted me and that I am lying…..I have the full conversation on LinkedIn the CEO who has since blocked me, in this conversation he claimed to have a contract with Chrono24 and that he would personally get them to refund me. This was a LIE he does not have contracts with them (according to Chrono24) and he did not get my money refunded. I have no reason to lie and can produce the proof.
Has they not closed all communication with myself then they would know. They have my contact details yet would prefer to not speak to me clearly.
Do not take insurance with this company , they false advertise, they will string you along and they DO lie.
Claim paid in full
It took 3 months but finally I got paid 2300€ for a packet I had inssured and dissapeared. I recomend taking pics of everything you ship, post label, box packed and bills aswell. If the packet for any reason gets lost youll get paid.
Ive used them 4 times now.
