My Grandparents previously had a room installed by these chaps many years ago now. They were absolutely fantastic looking after them and their unique needs as on older generation making such a significant purchase. The room still looks almost new now many years on, and I’m delighted to say I just recently had a new garden office installed by SdPh which has also turned out to be faultless from start to finish. If you want a Garden Room company that not only delivers the very best quality, but truly takes the time to care and guide at every step of the way, this is the company to go for. I was really excited to place an order for a garden office, with everything pointing to them being able to meet all of my needs. Price, delivery timeframe and service all looked great. I could even get comfortable with the payment schedule.
However, to discover that payment could only be made by Bank Transfer and not a Credit Card feels extremely archaic and something I'm not prepared to do. The additional protection provided by making payment by Credit Card is far too important for me as a consumer.
Also, considering that the full payment needs to be made prior to delivery and installation, means I could be left totally out of pocket and nowhere to turn if things went wrong.
I would recommend people only make online purchases using a credit card, as your card company will step in to uphold warranties, the quality of the goods and ongoing service protection if the firms fails to uphold their end of the bargain.

When I reached out for help recently, their aftercare team really impressed me. We’ve had our garden office pod for a number of years and it’s been completely trouble-free until last week, when a small issue cropped up. Within a day we were set up on a video call to identify and confirm the problem. A week later, everything had been sorted at no cost thanks to the warranty. At the time of purchase, the 10-year warranty was just something the salesperson mentioned in passing, but now I see the real value, it’s reassuring to know support is both quick and reliable if anything does go wrong.

We don’t usually leave reviews, but to be honest SdPh went above and beyond so we felt compelled. This was a considerable purchase for us, and the whole experience was refreshingly smooth. The build and delivery side of things was the thing that worried us most, and we had to cancel an order with another supplier as they kept putting the delivery date delayed.

Our Project Manager at SdPh, David, made it all run like clockwork. He kept me in the loop at every stage, arranged delivery around my schedule, and the installation team showed up when they said they would. No surprises, no chasing and all installed in one day including their concrete base.

The room itself has quickly become our family’s go-to space. We’ve already used it as a quiet spot for reading, a makeshift home cinema, and even hosted a couple of friends for drinks out there. It’s versatile, comfortable, and looks great in the garden. Having someone as reliable as David handling the practicalities made all the difference. Our sincere thanks to all involved.

Everything leading up to the installation of our garden office was impeccable - wonderful service, communication etc.

Problems started during and after install. The radiator we ordered as part of our install never arrived to be installed, and instead a generic amazon product was delivered. This was double the price of what we would have paid 'direct' with amazon.

After only 2 weeks, the "luxury wood effect flooring" started lifting (yes we followed all instructions) and Fora's response was to continually to look at the terms and conditions.Yes, it is buried in their terms and conditions that it is a temporary flooring and you MAY need to replace at some point. However when you pay over 20k for a product which contains luxury effect flooring, you expect as a consumer that the flooring provided will stand the test of time for more than 2 weeks.

The service and responsibility is non existent from an after sales perspective. They will order something from amazon and make a song and dance about coming to fit it (despite paying the premium price initially to have it fitted).
Everything is your (consumer) fault, and Fora blankly justrefer to their Ts and Cs.

Absolute false advertising. Abysmal post sales care. 1000000% a company that takes your money and runs.

Avoid like the plague. They don't give a monkeys bottom once they have your money.

So my Garden room has been in the planning for nearly a year... And finally November 2023 I got it... And its amazing I love it.. Its for my nail business I want to set up from home. I so happy from start to finish..

Shopped around for a number of months and have been nothing but pleased with our new garden room - professional and prompt service a we had a small problem with a door and they came straight out to fix it - have recommended the company to friends

When we wanted to freshen it up, we couldn’t find the same outside stain, so called them up and they delivered some in 3 days when they were passing! Cheers, Dan

We've had a Sintra home office for a couple of years now, easy install, still looks great, loads of space, warm and light. We're now looking for another for a gym/garden bar and will go with SPDH again for the ease of dealing and price.

We’ve had our garden room for 3 years. Another member of our family just got their latest model and it look’s cracking. We’ve had great service throughout and they still check in with us now. Ours I actually prefer now as it looks more a part of the natural garden as it matures. In the lakes we’ve had awful rain & heavy snow and the roof still looks perfect.

Not sure why there are any bad reviews, our small sample of 2 experiences has been great. Perhaps other people don’t follow the simple aftercare???

From initial quote right through to installation I was kept up to date & told of any delays that might occur. Thankfully all went according to plan & I’m sitting writing this review from my garden room!! Thanks guys v pleased

My garden room was completed a month ago now, and the entire experience was as stress free as you could want for an installation like this! There's been no teething problems thus far, and throughout the process the communication and responsiveness from Jamie & Gabs was fantastic.

I'd seen a few unfavourable reviews which did leave me slightly nervous, however those nerves were completely unfounded.

If anyone is in the market for a garden room do yourself a favour and look no further than Sdhp!

My second garden room! We had one installed in our last house installed 3 years ago, hasn't needed any maintenance at all. We bought a new one this year, that did need another screw in the trim after a few months which they quickly came and sorted. Great product and great aftercare.

Was a little sceptical when reading some reviews on here alongside having a slight delay on site, however I am really happy with the end product.

The build took 2 days in total, and the install team were friendly and know the product inside out. The whole room seems of a really high standard, which tbh you would expect at this price point. Thanks to Gabrio for project managing also.

Fantastic initial service & great aftercare!
We had our room installed back in 2021. It was pretty much perfect.

I’m not sure how anyone can leave a bad review. Like any build project, there were niggles, but hardly anything at all. The door needed a tiny bit of adjustment once the room had settled which was done easily. They also replaced a faulty light.

After a full year there were some areas that needed more stain. The wood does expand and contract as its a living material, but never had any problems. Maybe other customers aren’t taking the proper care, but we re-stain once a year, keep it ventilated and don’t store anything up against the outside which can attract damp and cause issues.

This year we had a bit of trim come off when a branch hit the roof! It came down with a real thud but the roof held up very well, and only a bit of plastic trim came off. They quickly sent me a replacement piece free of charge, even 2 years out of warranty.

Shout out to Jamie and Gabrio who are always responsive and made the whole thing seamless.

We are delighted with our garden office, we've had it a few months now and it's great, I prefer it to when I used to use the spare room in the house as it feels separate. I was worried it wouldn't feel solid but the build and finish quality is incredible. And I must say the lady we dealt with when ordering was great, talked us through everything we needed and made it so easy. The team that came and installed were super quick also. My wife wants a second one for a studio for herself, we've recommended them to everyone we know. Must say, solid 5 stars
