Can’t give Andy and his team enough stars, honestly he has been amazing right from the first visit to discuss plausibility of our garden room to completion of the project. Andy knows his craft well and was able to visualise what I was after and explain what we could do with the slightly awkward space where garden room ended up; he wasn’t pushy at all, just explained what would be best or gave me educated idea for things o wasn’t sure about.
His pricing is entirely transparent, everything is itemised up front with no hidden extras or costs at all which is very refreshing.
Before work commenced Andy was clear on time line and what would be required etc. we used his recommended electrician for the electrical connection to the mains which made everything quite straightforward.
Throughout the two weeks it took to complete Andy and his dad were a delight to have in the garden, they were respectful of our property and some lovely morning chats were had :D
The work was completed quicker than original quoted time and I couldn’t be happier with my amazing garden room. Andy has helped me to make what o had in my head become a reality and the whole process was honestly a delight. If you’re on the fence about doing this 110% go for it!

We had been researching garden offices for 3 years but nothing ever felt right, until we found AC Garden Building Solutions.

Andy was fantastic from our first contact right up until completion of the job. The finished product is absolutely fantastic, I love my pod, working from home in a great environment is just perfect.

We have lived with our garden room for a few months now and are so pleased we invested in it. It’s a welcome oasis within feet of the house but a world away. The installation was a breeze with Andy an unobtrusive but pleasant temporary addition to the household who got on with both our dog and young child. His workmanship is exemplary and he works mostly alone at an impressive pace. A couple of minor snags were dealt with quickly and without question. The build quality of the room is superb and we were pleased we opted for the cedar finish to make it look extra special. We also took up Andy’s suggestions, at minimal cost, to add a few extra sockets and an outdoor socket and hide an HDMI cable behind a wall in case we want to have a wall mounted TV in the future. We’ve managed to incorporate a work/hobby area, ‘kitchen’, relaxing area, mini art gallery and storage into a building with external dimensions of 4.2 x 2.8m and are extremely pleased with the results so wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Andy and AC Garden Build Solutions.

On exploring options for a bespoke combined Garden Room and shed we came across AC Garden Build Solutions and Andy and we are delighted with the result that we have got. From the very start of the process Andy was friendly with excellent communication and lots of ideas to enhance our own, ensuring the build we have ended up with has exceeded our expectations. We asked for different cladding to what was originally offered and Andy went out of his way to source and incorporate into build. During the build Andy kept us up to date with progress and talking us through the various stages and the benefits of what he was doing which both my wife and I found very beneficial. Similarly any slight modifications we thought of were incorporated easily. In addition to the build, Andy demolished an old shed on site and removed all rubbish as well as fixing a damaged fence and gate to provide appropriate access to the garden to match the build. Andy project managed all deliveries to minimise impact on our neighbours and ensure the build stayed on schedule. Andy was an absolute pleasure to deal with and we would recommend without hesitation for any similar work. First class all round

It is a pleasure to find that considerate, conscientious, friendly and helpful businesses do still exist! AC Building Solutions, headed up by Andy and supported by a couple of linked trades people, provided a fantastic service and final product.

After we had explored some other routes and less than responsive or more expensive companies for providing us with a Garden studio and office, to free up much needed space in our house, we came across Andy's company. Friendly and reliable from his first contact, he kindly visited us at home to take our brief and provide us with a design, estimate and timeframe. As an Architect but with no time to design and build a studio myself, Andy took what might be deemed by many as a long list of major and minor requirements in his stride!

The ability to offer bespoke plan sizes, design options on decks and canopies, window and door sizes and materials, insulations types (we asked for Sheep's wool) and various cladding options makes Andy's product very versatile.

With the estimate and start date agreed, we had some groundworks done by another company to provide the flat site and much needed access. Little tweaks to the design and some variation on size and colours of windows and external cladding were dealt with easily and Andy started on the agreed date.

As it was a tight site with tricky access, Andy managed all the material deliveries either on a 'just in time basis' or to his own premises enabling him to prepare and pre-cut many of the elements of the build before bringing them to site when needed.

To say that he was thrown some adverse weather conditions would be an understatement but he ploughed on through (literally on some days) with contingency and logistical plans that certainly maintained his progress and ensured that he was still finished on programme.

He also accommodated our independent IT, audio and visual installations again to our specific requests.

Post completion Andy has continued to be very helpful, returning to site to adjust some very minor issues (not of his making) with the Aluminium doors and ensure we are more than happy.

The room is nearly fully decorated and we cannot wait to get it fully fitted with furniture and put it to full use!

Earlier this year, we decided to explore local companies who built and supplied garden rooms. Having looked at prefabricated options and deciding they weren’t for us, we contacted the company which appeared at the top of our Google Search, AC Garden Build Solutions and have never regretted that decision.
Andy came out to visit us in our home and sat with us and painstakingly discussed plans, our options, sizes and alternatives with us. Plotting our plans in the garden, exploring different sizes and positions in the garden, this was so helpful. He had infinite patience and has been a pleasure to deal with from start to finish. His genuine approach to his business was very refreshing and we have never regretted choosing him to build our gorgeous garden room.
His attention to detail and communication have been second to none, the time schedule for the building work was accurate and carefully adhered to as much as possible. He proved to be a very tidy, clean and friendly worker to have around us for the last couple of weeks.
Andy proved to be a very hard worker and we were amazed at how much work he could get through in one day. His workmanship and attention to detail is superb and we are delighted with our new space in the garden. We can’t wait for it to be decorated and have our furniture delivered so we can begin to use it properly.
