Everything seemed fine when dealing with Scunthorpe Hot Tubs when we first purchased the hot tub. The sales process was straightforward and the company were happy to deal with us while they were taking our money. Unfortunately, the experience has been completely different once we started experiencing problems with the hot tub within just six months of purchase.

The biggest issue has been the after-sales service. When something goes wrong, it feels like they simply don't want to know. Rather than properly investigating the problem and trying to help, we have repeatedly been made to feel as though we must be doing something wrong.

Trying to get help over the phone has been particularly frustrating. On several occasions, we've been put on hold by the after-sales team for extended periods. What was particularly alarming was being able to hear the staff in the background discussing our call and asking each other what they should say or how they should respond. On one occasion, we could even hear comments along the lines of them complaining about having another customer on the phone and moaning about the situation.

As a customer, hearing conversations like that while you're supposedly on hold is extremely concerning and gives you absolutely no confidence that your complaint is being taken seriously or that the person dealing with you actually knows what they are talking about.

You shouldn't have to sit on the phone listening to members of an after-sales team trying to work out what they should tell you. If you're contacting a company because you've got a genuine problem with a product that you've purchased only months earlier, you expect professional customer service, clear answers and someone who is willing to take ownership of the problem.

Instead, our experience has been incredibly stressful and frustrating. The attitude seems to be very different once the sale has been completed. Everything is fine while you're buying the hot tub, but when you need after-sales support, you feel like you're suddenly an inconvenience.

We purchased the hot tub expecting it to be a quality product backed by proper customer service and warranty support. Unfortunately, that's not how we've been made to feel. We've spent far too much time chasing, explaining the same issues repeatedly and trying to get someone to actually take responsibility for resolving the problems.

In my opinion, the true test of a company isn't how they treat you when everything is going well and they're trying to make a sale — it's how they treat you when something goes wrong.

Sadly, our experience with Scunthorpe Hot Tubs has been extremely poor. The problems with the hot tub are one thing, but the way we've been treated by the after-sales team has made the situation considerably worse.

Based on our experience, we would think very carefully before purchasing from this company.

This is my second hot tub from Scunthorpe Hot tub Mega store. I had to leave my other when I sold the house 😂. Anyway, I bought the smallest they had ( Triton) as it had to go through the house, I can say the guys who delivered it did so with total professionalism. Really pleased with the delivery and the actual hot tub is brilliant. At this point I've owned it 7 days, and been in it 6 times. I highly recommend Scunthorpe hot tub mega store. Enough of this review writing, I'm off in my new hot tub.

The prices are extremely good and the delivery date was prompt. Unfortunately there were unavoidable issues on delivery day (awful weather and too many jobs booked on the same list). The office staff let the side down somewhat with accessing them and then their unhelpful / unsympathetic attitude - but everyone has a bad day sometimes. The delivery/installation team, Paul and AB, more than made up for any negative issues by being super friendly and helpful. They really are a credit to themselves and the company - thank you guys 👍

We were greeted in the store and advised the team were on hand for any questions about the hot tubs, noone was pushy with sales which I really appreciated! Ordering online was really simple, and I’ve been kept informed throughout regarding my order. I had a couple of date changes and they were always happy to help to accommodate.
The delivery team were really great, lots of helpful tips and positioned the hot tub with care. Follow up has been great and I would highly recommend

There was a small hiccup uploading the access‑route video, but it was sorted easily through WhatsApp, which shows how responsive and helpful the team are.The installation team were outstanding. They talked me through everything they were doing and why, explained how to use the tub, Bluetooth features, and gave me confidence in the setup. Now I just need to get to grips with balancing the chemicals.Overall, I’d highly recommend Scunthorpe Hot Tub Megastore — great service from start to finish.

Scunthorpe hot tubs have been excellent. From purchase to delivery and install it’s been a good experience. The tub was great value and the whole team are very approachable, professional and friendly. If you have any questions just call and they are always happy to give detailed answers and nothings too much trouble. Customer service is outstanding. I highly recommend this company. 5 STARS *****

Positive and smooth experience from start to finish. Peter in sales was excellent at explaining the technical stuff and answering all our questions- we had many as this was our first time buying a hot tub. He fully explained the delivery and installation process and the buyer’s pack he provided included everything we needed to know, plus immediate and future maintenance details. He set realistic expectations on delivery and everything flowed like clockwork just as he’d explained. Jay and Abu were the installers and a real pleasure to deal with. They worked efficiently together and took care of the big and small details, while adapting to our requests. They were extremely polite and nothing was a bother. They were great at explaining the set up and gave us some good tips. They left everything tidy when they were done and made sure we were completely happy. Couldn’t have asked for better all round service.

I cannot put into words how glad I am that we chose Scunthorpe hot tubs. From stepping into the showroom we knew we were in expert hands at helping us choose and ultimately setting up our dream hot tub. Brilliant deal on the price, everything explained clearly and aftercare has been top notch. We absolutely love our thermals hydro pro and it's the perfect fit for our usage. I highly highly recommend getting out to the showroom if at all possible and if not, ring them with your budget and how you plan to use it.

Had a-lot of issues with hot tub over the years with old staff here but now i just experienced a real decent customer experience dealing with the manager Darren , a man true to his word and sorting all issues fast and efficiently as a good company should.

Wally the engineer attended my home, fast and efficient, worked hard to get all the issues and jobs done to a high standard, very polite and professional.

I know he has not long started in his role but i think he has to be the best one to ever attend and do the job as expected, i feel he has to fix others mistakes but i am glad they have him in the company now moving forward.

Efficient delivery and installation team they were quick, careful , helpful and answered those last few questions we had regarding looking after the tub.
