Excellent that one can speak to a living person without having to go through chatbots and all the other AI obstacles put there to deter us from calling. Very good telephone response time, even though... See more

Agent who answered my enquiry was exceptionally polite and knowledgeable and I had no problem getting my enquiry answered .
The team related to one another seamlessly to provide a response tp my inquiries.
Very helpful member of staff helped me understand the final bill we received before we start with our new provider for dual fuel.
I had a meter which registered Low/Normal peak/off peak elec usage. On 27 June it stopped working. I guessed this was because the LW transmitter had stopped working- but Scottish Power had not warned us. So I was paying high rate for all usage.
I rang Scot Power and was told my only option was a ‘smart’ meter.
I said we had had poor mobile signal. She said we could have a signal booster fitted and she would make a note for fitter.
Fitter arrived. Didn’t seem to have heard of signal boosters!
So was this true?
The newly installed Smart (!?) meter did not work nor the counter top display unit.
That’s ok said fitter, they’ll connect it remotely within 2 days and talk you through how it works.
They haven’t.
Was this true?
I rang Customer Services. They gave me a Complaint Number. We’ll send someone round.
They haven’t.
I have no idea if meter is registering. Or what they will try and charge us. The small display unit is not working.
In our eighties, we are expected to climb a ladder to look? No numbers are visible from the ground. Three flashing lights are showing - the fitter said it will be operational when four are flashing.
Truly dreadful operation. But I do agree, all those I have spoken to have been pleasant - But some action is needed, not fobbed off with the ‘company line’. The fitter said hundreds of thousands of complaints about the new meters are outstanding. Perhaps Scot Power could use some of their recently announced profits to rectify the problem?
Easy website and pathways. All information available to manage account.
My meter readings was not showing on meter or smart meter monitor but got the main reading going but my smart monitor still not showing
Sorted query quickly so that I UNDERSTOOD WHAT WILL HAPPEN .
App easy to give meter readings as long as you can access them easily.
I was promised £50 credit into my account with Scottish Power if I stayed with them. 8 months on and no word of it, although I raised the issue a couple of times by phoning them.
Moreover, we moved house recently, and it is one of the toughest things to do, especially with 3 kids. We needed some time to sort things out, but no, Scottish Power couldn't wait and slapped us with late payment fee in the first bill at new house. You think moving house is easy?
So instead of keeping promises, and helping vulnerable people, they love to make profits off the backs of struggling people. Why do they even bother to ask if there are vulnerable people in the household?
I don't want to finish as my throat is filled with frustration and disappointment and what not, but I will hold back and stop here.
To get any benefits from Scottish power, you need a smart meter and the app. The price payed should not be linked to how freely you allow this company to invade your digital life. Therefore I am penalised for sharing less of my personal date through prices. We see you.
I like that I am given plenty of information regarding my account and that the website is easy to navigate.
i am well satisfied with scottish power. fast and friendly.

All options explained and took the time to make sure all was understood and what I had asked for.
